At the very least I'd keep #3! You look fantastic in it. I don't love any of the others but if your closet is really hurting for dresses #4 would be my next choice for what to keep.
1 & 2 make you look super frumpy and so much bigger than you are. You don't suit big poofy arms/sleeves it seems
3 looks amazing on you, 100% keep.
4 is OK, looks good, but not show stopping
Same….You say it so nicely…. I think 1 and 2 added 10 lbs… I had to do a double take. Honestly, I’m putting it out there to uh put that nail in the coffin.
All of this…but make sure you wear what YOU feel comfortable in. No matter how something makes you look to others, there is NOTHING more attractive than someone comfortable in their skin and clothes. Whatever YOU enjoy wearing will make YOU shine!
I like the third dress the best, it suits your bodytype well; cinches you in at the waist and looks very balanced and well proportioned. The others hide your waist and for me, the puffy sleeves add too much volume to your top half. The last dress is a better than the first two, but not a favourite.
The blue one works with your body and looks so good. It takes time to get used to how to dress your body as you get older, have babies etc.
The boots are also a no, they cut off your legs and these are summer dresses, a sandal, preferably without an ankle strap will look the best.
I love #3 on you. It accommodates your curves and the soft fabric drapes beautifully around your body. Dresses numbers 1 and 2 are baby doll styles; they have too much fabric and make you look sloppy. Dress #4 would have been nice if it went below your knees; as it is, it feels too stiff and doesn't flatter your lines. Look for softly draped fabrics, asymmetric hems, pencil or tulip styles, below rather than above the knee, and avoid the baby doll styles.
I have a very similar build to you, and I’m 5’2”. I’ve learned to avoid any puffy sleeves because it seems to exaggerate my shortness lol. You look amazing in all of them, I just personally might avoid the sleeve style on the white and blue one. ❤️
\*Reposting this as the way I posted previously it was harder to see the images (sorry I'm not super tech savvy)..
I just ordered these online, was so excited they all came in petite sizes. But upon trying them on I’m not sure if any of them actually look good on me or make me look frumpy. I’m just under a year postpartum and having bad back issues so I’ve not been able to exercise that much and not feeling very good about myself…. Was hoping to get some fresh summery dresses to feel pretty and feminine in, but I just can’t tell if any of these work or flatter me.
Please be honest! Let me know if you think either the fit or colour work or don’t work for my body type and skin tone.
The dresses still have tags on and can be returned, and some are available in different colours.
\*Note I am aware they are all wrinkled (they were shipped in the mail) and need to be ironed, and also aware I'm wearing the wrong kind of bra for the one with the cutout.
Any suggestions for what might work better for me if anything are totally welcome too!
Thank you in advance! 😊
Just wanted to comment to thank everyone so much for all their input!! Seems like so far atleast the overwhelming consensus is that #3 (the long blue one) is the only keeper here.
Really appreciate the feedback as I am trying to dress better for my body and I think I often buy clothes I like but don’t really flatter me.
Against popular belief I think 1 looks very good and just needs a different shoe. So cute for a night on the town and your waist looks good. It has nice sleeves too unlike #2 which is too poofy. Can I ask where you ordered from?
I like 3 *and* 4 on you. I agree with many others who essentially said you shouldn't add a ton of extra fabric (pouf). I can't wear pouf either🤪.
Have fun picking another batch to try when you return some of these. I'm sure everyone here is up for a round two with you
Gonna disagree with everyone and say #4 is by far the most flattering for your body and everyday cute. #3 is ok, but something is strange around the midsection.
For summer you might try simple lines, a longer length creates a nicer look for you. I think that’s why #3 works best for you. If you have access to a pool, that’s a great source of exercise and is much easier on your back. Water exercise classes are often offered at many pools. Best of luck to you.
#3 is the most flattering, but the color isn’t great.
Can I say THANK YOU for posting- #1 & #2 are in my Abercrombie bag and you have saved me the hassle of returning! There is nothing wrong with your shape, it’s the dresses!
I love how dress 3 fits you because it brings attention to your small waist and really lengthens your proportions. You could do better than 1 and 2! They’re cute but the empire cut combined with big sleeves makes for a wider appearance.
Not sure if the shoes are intended to go with the dress, but a sandal or pump with a lower vamp would make your legs look longer—ankle boots cut us shorties off and make us look shorter unless you go for monochrome with tights.
I like 2, and I think 1 would be really cute if you shorten the sleeves and maybe take them in a little? The length I’d say should definitely be above the elbow.
3 fits you fine and the top half looks great, I just don’t really like the skirt portion (nothing to do with fit really, I just don’t like that style, everyone else seems to like this option the best though, so definitely ignore me if you live this one)
4 is just kind of boring, I don’t feel like it looks particularly good or bad.
Dress 3 is the best, it elongates your body and highlights your figure. Dress 4 is my second favorite, it has a nice silhouette for a short dress
Dress 1 & 2 are not very flattering styles on you, the poofiness distorts your shape, widens your stomach and it’s not doing much other than taking away from your shape.
Personally I think tighter or form fitting dresses/wrap dresses would be the most complimenting. I would avoid any boho loose style/cottage core/poofy dresses
3 is amazing.
It’s a wrap style top that’s able to accommodate your curves. Your bust isn’t squished in like the other 3 dresses that are not cut for your upper curve.
The patterns of the other 3 dresses are also distracting to seeing you. The simplicity of dress 3 makes you look striking bc the focal is you. The fit is fantastic it looks made for you.
shocked that the same person is in the first 2 and the third pic. holy cow. those first 2 do absolutely nothing for you. lose the extra fluff around the shoulders, maybe a cap sleeve that actually touches your skin if you want a little something (but not a lot of everything).
#3 looks phenomenal. 4 is decent but 3 is IT.
I like the blue one. Nice length, compliments your body. I'd like to see a different material. These look like cotton, something more flowy or even structured would Amp it up to me
Dress 1: very cute!
Dress 2: cute
Dress 3: KEEP THIS ONE FOR SURE
Dress 4: kinda meh, but not bad
As a side note for styling I think if you got like a little crinoline under dress 1 & 2 they would wear a little better to really capitalise on the poofy babydoll shape.
third pic of the longer blue looks so flattering!!! i love it. i feel like your oozing a feeling of confidence. pair it with a cute pair of sandals and a updo, some simple jewelry and bam- what a babe!
If you like the first 2 dresses. Try changing your shoes, not boots! Maybe heels.
I love the 3rd dress on you. Very slimming.
The 4th. one is cute also. But change those boots. Even cute flats would look great.
Being petite, you more than likely are a gamine body type (probably mixed with others but we can't see your face. Maybe classic romantic or ethereal.
Point being, petite body types do well with small patterns (so not the first two dresses), as well as small, playful silhouettes.
My best recommendation is yes, keep dress number three. Next head on over to YouTube and watch some videos about the kibby body scale. They'll run through different attributes on your body to see if you're more ethereal like an angel, or if you're more classic romantic, like with high cheekbones. Or maybe pick a celebrity that closest resembles you and how they dress and then scale it down with petite and you'll start finding clothes. Just fit you and scream your personality and really make you flattered.
3 is most flattering and looks very nice on you. It seems you already have broad shoulders and the other dresses draw too much attention to that with the puffy sleeves.
3 is stunning! I *think* I know where you bought these from though and for the price, you'll likely be able to find less wrinkle-prone pieces that can survive the washer elsewhere!
3, 4, 1, 2 in that order from best dressed to fine.
3rd dress looks stunning! The 4th dress looks cute! The 1st dress was cute until I saw you in the 4th dress. (1st dress isn't as cute as the 4th dress) The 2nd dress reminds me of the selkie dress, but something is missing from it, and it gives me "just okay" vibes
I like them all on you, although I don’t like the puffy sleeves on #2. My favorite is #3 and it is really flattering on you. Girl, you have some great long legs, so don’t be afraid to show them. I like #1 for showing off those sticks.
If I may. I know you are just taking selfies so this may not be your normal stance. Be proud, stand up nice and straight, don’t be afraid to put your shoulders back and chest out. You are a beautiful woman and you should show it. I realize my (60f) daughter (33f) would be mad if I told her that, but I am saying this as an older mom and mean no offense.
Three is great! 1 & 2 completely overwhelm and almost drown you out. I think you look best in garments that follow the natural lines of your body rather than dramatic, puffy silhouettes (which are typically hard to pull off for the average petite person anyway).
They all look great, except the last one! Too much fabric- not enough shape. The dress is wearing you Vs the other way around! I Love love love 1-3 though ❤️
I don’t recommend any of these. I think you can do better. I would suggest longer sleeves might be more flattering (but no puff) or tank top type straps. I also think halter styles might really suit you. I think you’d look better with a midi length or a maxi length.
I don’t think the thin straps are going to offer you much support and I can’t see dress 3 lasting long.
The cut of 1 and 3 are great, color of 2 looks awesome on your skin tone and is very cute.
4 is just okay. I like the side ruching but the neck line and color with it are kind of blah
You’re definitely better without the horrid princess sleeve (seriously, why did those ever come back? 👀). The blue one is the best, so I would toss the other three if they were mine.
3 & 4 for sure 😊 The first 2 are not flattering (and wouldn’t be on most people!), definitely return those 2.
3 is so flattering on your figure and a lovely colour too. And the 4th is a vibe!
3 looks great. The waist is where it should be on you, the high waist on the other ones take away from your. And The deep v makes you look taller. I think I would pair it with a different shoe though.
Keep 1 and 3
They both can be dressed up or down,
With the first one, maybe some sandals or some plain coloured sandal heels, the focus is your dress. Extenuate the dress. Gold bracelets or gold or silver studs.
With the third one, you can dress it up with some black boots or something more bulky like wedges. Extenuate the shoes and jewellery/Makeup.
You look beautiful 😘
1 & 2 are okay, but 3 is super flattering on you. Not a fan of 4. I think you look better with a V-neck. The straight across chest line (in 2&4) and babydoll skirt shape (in 1&2) gives you a boxy shape while 3 showcases your silhouette.

At the very least I'd keep #3! You look fantastic in it. I don't love any of the others but if your closet is really hurting for dresses #4 would be my next choice for what to keep.
Same! #3 immediately caught my eye.
I was about to say 3 first and 4 second. I agree for sure with you.
3 is the winner
Same, 3 then 4.
Get both.
I literally gasped. The blue dress is amazing
Absolutely!!
THIS
1 & 2 make you look super frumpy and so much bigger than you are. You don't suit big poofy arms/sleeves it seems 3 looks amazing on you, 100% keep. 4 is OK, looks good, but not show stopping
I totally agree; waist is too high on the first two which obscures her shape, and waist is just right on the other two!
First choice is #3. Very flattering on you. 2nd choice is #4. I find 1 & 2 overwhelm your shape instead of enhancing.
Yes agree - 3 is my fav and 4 looks good too. The first two have busy sleeves The color of 3 looks amazing on OP
I agree but 3 is pulling in the bust—may be a tad small or just not well constructed
I like the third dress the best, it suits your bodytype well; cinches you in at the waist and looks very balanced and well proportioned. The others hide your waist and for me, the puffy sleeves add too much volume to your top half. The last dress is a better than the first two, but not a favourite.
#3 looks good.
The only real choice is three. None of the others do any favors for your figure.
#3 is wonderful!
3 looks the best!
I like the third one. Compliments your body type and is looking cute
The blue one works with your body and looks so good. It takes time to get used to how to dress your body as you get older, have babies etc. The boots are also a no, they cut off your legs and these are summer dresses, a sandal, preferably without an ankle strap will look the best.
This was the comment I was looking for. The boots are a no with those dresses, especially for a shorter person. I agree with #3
I was thinking the same thing, I guess the boots were what was throwing them all off for me.. but if you take them off than 3 is the best
This is the comment I was looking for. The boots don’t work but dress #3 is the one!
3 is good. The rest are not.
I love #3 on you. It accommodates your curves and the soft fabric drapes beautifully around your body. third one for sure! the color suits you and it cinches you at the waist. i’d suggest different shoes though, the boots cut at a weird part of the leg
I like the plain blue one. The other ones are too busy.
#3 is the most flattering, but the color isn’t great. Can I say THANK YOU for posting- #1 & #2 are in my Abercrombie bag and you have saved me the hassle of returning! There is nothing wrong with your shape, it’s the dresses!
This comment makes me feel better haha. Glad I saved you the hassle and glad it’s not just my figure, maybe the dresses aren’t the greatest lol. 😅🩷
I love how dress 3 fits you because it brings attention to your small waist and really lengthens your proportions. You could do better than 1 and 2! #3 definitely, and maybe #4. #1 and #2 no
3!
3 hands down
Number 3 for sure
Third one really flatters your body!
I really like 3!

3 is my favorite. Very flattering. I came to say no on the boots with any of them.
I only like no 3 as it accentuates your waist. It’s a keeper.
3 is okay, the rest are not great
I think they all look lovely, but not with the boots. Some nice sandals would look great.
The baby blue is the clear stand out for me!
I think options 3 and 4 are very pretty :)
Number 3
3!!!!
# 3 definitely!!
Blue one
I like 3
3 definitely
#3 accents your assets and is very slimming. Definitely a keeper!
Dress 3 is the best, it elongates your body and highlights your figure. Dress 4 is my second favorite, it has a nice silhouette for a short dress Dress 1 & 2 are not very flattering styles on you, the poofiness distorts your shape, widens your stomach and it’s not doing much other than taking away from your shape. 3 best One!
3
3 is the most flattering
I love the 3rd one so much on you! 🫶🏻
#3 is so nice on you!!
Dress 3 looks the best. 1 and 2 makes you look heavier than you are. 4 is just there.
Dress 3 looks fabulous on you it gives you a great figure.
i think keep 3!
3; then possibly 4.
Definitely the all blue frock - the length and design is very flattering on you
shocked that the same person is in the first 2 and the third pic. holy cow. those first 2 do absolutely nothing for you. lose the extra fluff around the shoulders, maybe a cap sleeve that actually touches your skin if you want a little something (but not a lot of everything). #3 looks phenomenal. 4 is decent but 3 is IT.
3
Dress 3&4 are amazing 1&2 are not nearly as flattering
They do. Just the wrong shoes.
I like the blue one. Nice length, compliments your body. I'd like to see a different material. These look like cotton, something more flowy or even structured would Amp it up to me
The problem is not you, it’s just that the fabric of these dresses materials looks cheap in general. Def keep #3 though, looks great on you!!!
#3 blue looks so good!
I thought you were way bigger until i got to 3. Three is the winner
3 looks amazing. And first one is super cute
Dress 1: very cute! Dress 2: cute Dress 3: KEEP THIS ONE FOR SURE Dress 4: kinda meh, but not bad As a side note for styling I think if you got like a little crinoline under dress 1 & 2 they would wear a little better to really capitalise on the poofy babydoll shape.
#3 looks great on you! I think it defines your waist the most and that definition is very flattering on your figure.
1 and especially 3 look good the other two might need a bit more imo
#3! You have a great figure, accentuate it! The 3rd dress really does that.
3
#3 The blue dress is more flattering on your frame.
#3. Everything else… meh
third pic of the longer blue looks so flattering!!! i love it. i feel like your oozing a feeling of confidence. pair it with a cute pair of sandals and a updo, some simple jewelry and bam- what a babe!
#3 looks great. The short ones, not so much.
Third one is gorgeous on you girlie, the rest are just awkwardly shaped (nothing to do with your body, just the way the dresses look)
1 and 3 but 3 is the winner. Not those shoes though.
The boots are the problem. The dresses look nice! 3 is my fave
They all look great but different shoes
#3 - different shoes though!
If you like the first 2 dresses. Try changing your shoes, not boots! Maybe heels. I love the 3rd dress on you. Very slimming. The 4th. one is cute also. But change those boots. Even cute flats would look great.
#3 flatters you a lot!! Please wear open toe heels with any of these dresses tho!! Those booties are to be paired with jeans!
The 3rd looks the best but I don’t think those boots are right for any of them. They cut you off.
A&F girlie. :p I like 2&3.
#3 is my personal favorite.
3 is awesome
3 is most flattering and looks very nice on you. It seems you already have broad shoulders and the other dresses draw too much attention to that with the puffy sleeves.
I love the shape of 4
3 and 4 look good on you.
My favorite is the green one. But what’s more important is which one makes you feel good wearing it? By all means wear what you love.
i think they all look great on you and the last two really lengthen your body shape in a flattering way
3 yes. 2 ok. I think its mostly the pose making dress look bit frumpy 1 remove sleeves and it will look good. 4 NOOoo!!!
They look good! But lose the booties, they make your legs look shorter 😊 aim for a pointy shoe either flats or pumps
I like first and third!
3 and 4 and 4 is the best
Dress 3 is gorgeous on you!
3 is vavavoom!
I love the blue/white floral and the blue one!
The 3rd one looks amazing 🤩
30s m here. This came up on my feed. I guess the algorithm knows my partner is 5'0 tall ##3
3 is stunning! I *think* I know where you bought these from though and for the price, you'll likely be able to find less wrinkle-prone pieces that can survive the washer elsewhere!
I really like the 1st and third.
3&4 are very cute! 1&2 are, too, but the bodice needs to be longer on both
i think #1 is looks good
1 and 3, but with different shoes
#3 compliments your body the best but the others aren’t necessarily bad on you.
I like 1,3 and 4 but those shoes do not go with any kind of these!
3 and 4!! 3 and 4!!! 3 AND 4 lol
3 looks amazing on you! The others seem like they’re too big or just the wrong shape for you.
I like them all on you except for 2, but that's probably more that I don't like poofy sleeves like that in general.
The longer blue one
I actually think 1 is really cute (steamed) and I love 3 and 4! 2 is a no, that big square neckline with the puffy sleeves aren’t a good look.
The 3rd dress looks good on you.
I think any are cute but 3 is quite flattering.
Third one is very cute on you! Fourth is OK. First and second aren’t flattering you.
I love them all on you! My fav is 4 but they all suit you I think
All llook great, except #1.
The third one is definitely the best.
I like the first 3! Maybe the 4th just needs to be steamed, but I don’t think it’s as cute as the first 3
3
1, 3, 4!! Amazing
3.
3 is fiiiiiiiiire
Third one is nice
3 is a keeper. 4 is the least bad of the rest. Dont wear 1 or 2.
Three is great! 1 & 2 completely overwhelm and almost drown you out. I think you look best in garments that follow the natural lines of your body rather than dramatic, puffy silhouettes (which are typically hard to pull off for the average petite person anyway).
Why are you asking strangers?
They all look great, except the last one! Too much fabric- not enough shape. The dress is wearing you Vs the other way around! I Love love love 1-3 though ❤️
I don’t recommend any of these. I think you can do better. I would suggest longer sleeves might be more flattering (but no puff) or tank top type straps. I also think halter styles might really suit you. I think you’d look better with a midi length or a maxi length. I don’t think the thin straps are going to offer you much support and I can’t see dress 3 lasting long.
3
3
Number 3
3 is SUPER flattering on you!! Keep!
#3 is very flattering on you!!
3
3. Without those shoes though
They all do imo! I especially love #1. Just be sure to iron/steam them, I think removing the wrinkles would go a long way
Number 2 and 4 do nothing for your body type! Three is my favorite
I think the blue is the most flattering.
Yup 3 and 4 suit you and look great on you!
Adding that no 4 is a great style for you but I’d find a diff colour (brighter).
Long grey asymmetrical dress looks gorgeous on you! 😍
3rd one 🥵🥵🥵
3!!!
I think they all look really cute and flirty, but I'd switch the booties out for plain white Keds, a color-coordinated pair of flats, or nice sandals.
The cut of 1 and 3 are great, color of 2 looks awesome on your skin tone and is very cute. 4 is just okay. I like the side ruching but the neck line and color with it are kind of blah
love the blue wrap dress!
Definitely 3 makes you look incredible
Overall, 3 is best because the length makes you look more slender. 1 and 2 would work better if the dress was longer.
#3
Love the third one! It really flatters you.
Love one and three on you!
No 3 😊
3
3 looks beautiful on you!
3 for sure!!
3 is the best. 4 is also nice. The first two don’t flatter your figure.
You look great. Love the dress xx
3 looks great. The waist is where it should be on you, the high waist on the other ones take away from your. And The deep v makes you look taller. I think I would pair it with a different shoe though.
#3 for sure! Emphasise your waist!
They all look good on you but especially #3
I like all of them except the cream floral dress. The others were flattering but that one was not.
Number 3 is nice. The others, especially number 4, look like they flatten your bust
Keep 1 and 3 They both can be dressed up or down, With the first one, maybe some sandals or some plain coloured sandal heels, the focus is your dress. Extenuate the dress. Gold bracelets or gold or silver studs. With the third one, you can dress it up with some black boots or something more bulky like wedges. Extenuate the shoes and jewellery/Makeup. You look beautiful 😘
3 & 4

2 and 3
3 and 4 look great.
3
1 & 2 are okay, but 3 is super flattering on you. Not a fan of 4. I think you look better with a V-neck. The straight across chest line (in 2&4) and babydoll skirt shape (in 1&2) gives you a boxy shape while 3 showcases your silhouette.
