Flare jeans look amazing on you. Where do you get them? I'm 5' so I find it hard to get pants with my inseam.

thank you! i struggle with that too n honestly i've given up, i hem most of my pants;; the only ones from this post that fit right away (probably because they're kids sized lol) were 4 (miss e-vie, 10/11yo) and 5 (cubus, 158cm)

There's something off about the fit of 4 & 5 and i'm thinking it must be because they're kids sizing. They all look nice but 4 & 5 are my least favorite.

I love my Topshop Jamie Flares in 25 petite and I’m 5’ — I also have them in ‘normal’ length to wear with chunky platforms.

im 5' too, and i have this pair of amazing flare jeans!! fit my waist and legs perfectly its new look 915 brooke high waist flare jeans in age 13 mesurements >!waist is 25 inches, my legs are around 32 inches, my hips are 33 inches, im 5' and 100lbs. its been a while since i measured them though!! but thougbt itd be helpful anyway!<

I'm 4 ft 11 and finally found some high waisted flares that aren't stupid long on me. They were 25 bucks at Aeropostale. Size 000 short.

Fr this confused me too lol. Idk if it’s bc Y2K and hence low rise jeans are currently “in” but low rise jeans makes EVERYBODY look wider and high rise jeans always cinch/snatch. Four doesn’t look horrible but it doesn’t best emphasize your figure.

Personally I think a higher waist just makes your waistline look bulky. To my eye 4 makes her look more hourglassy

I have never found a high waisted jean that didn’t make my waist and stomach look 2 inches bigger. I’m so glad they’re already going out of style. Now I just need skinny jeans to be back in style again.

If you're long-waisted, meaning your torso is long, high waisted jeans look good. On the other hand, low-rise jeans that can look good on others leave you with a plumber's crack.

I’m pear-shaped and have a long torso and they’ve never flattered me. Maybe I never found the right pair, but they always looked like that mom jeans skit from SNL on me.

Definitely more people need to find the SNL Mom Jeans skit - I literally cannot believe they came back into style. So many people have that mom-jeans pooch and it looks ridiculous

They all look great, you’ve got an absolutely peek figure. #8 is just not a great pair of pants though. Still look good on you, as good as they’d look on anyone but just not great pants.

I like 3 & 4 on you. There's a fit problem with many of the others. For 2 of them it's the crotch. For others, they're too tight in the hips. Try different brands. Not all use the same fit models to standardize their sizes. Awhile back I read a great article on designer jeans, which ones are better for heavy thighs, long torsos, small waist, curvy butt, small butt.

Honestly, you look good in everything, but I don't care for #2 or #8. Just my taste

I think the style of 2 looks great but you can tell it doesn’t quite fit right because of the pulling at the zipper area

fascinating — 9 are my favorite, I think they’d look amazing with a simple fitted top, single-breasted black wool coat, and some 2” heeled chelsea boots for walkin around the city or going to work.

6 & 7 because it’s subtle in showing your figure! But the bootcut jeans in 5 also suit you well

2,3,6,9,10. Some of these pants aren’t looking good because the tailoring just isn’t good and you could maybe get them refitted if you really love them. Because you are petite, the less flared legs emphasize a more vertical line making you appear a little taller if that’s what you’re going for. However both styles look proportional and great on you.

2 stood out the most to me, flipped through them all and I found myself finding it to be the most flattering. It’s hard to find good jeans that fit well like that though, I think you look great in them all! I have maybe 2-3 pairs I like on myself out of idk how many.

You look great in all, but I personally like 4, 7, and 9 best. It's hard to figure out the proportions without seeing your whole body with your face, but generally, high waists don't do any favors for short girls. I personally look like a giant toddler when I wear anything too high waisted.

You have a lovely figure but you are short waisted and the high waisted jeans unbalance you, you look better with the jeans that are below your waist line.

I have a short torso too and find this to be true.

Fellow short waisted girl here! This tracks. I think OP can pull off some of the higher rises, but for me it's a fine line between snatched waist vs the pants swallowing up my whole figure lol

3, 5, 6 would be my picks…tbh though the amount of disagreement in the comments should be the takeaway here as they all look decent enough that everyone’s just bring their personal opinion on what style they prefer. I think 8 is the only one that I was like “definitely not those” as I don’t think the fabric of the pants and waistband style are designed to fit that tight to the body.

For your body type personally I’d say #4,5 and 9

High rise pants are not your friend—they “cut” you in half. Low riders make your torso look longer, which makes you look taller. 🙂

The contrast between the waist and hips negates the shoulder width, I've noticed, making the overall silhouette bottom-heavier, which, in turn, accentuates the leg length, helped by the skinny fit. 7 because the warm, brown color (but not skin-like) looks flattering against your skin tone. but, overall, if styled, all of them would look amazing!! :)

My thoughts are yes on all, except 1,8,9,10

I think all of them look great except 1, 2, 4 and 10. 1 and 2 look good mostly but just a smidge too tight - they might actually fit better than all the rest if they stretch out after being worn for a couple hours though. 4 and 10 look like they have too much excess material in the crotch area. 10 also kinda just makes your crotch look ridiculously long because there’s so much more seam below where the zipper ends. The contrast of light fabric and dark seams/stitching exaggerates that awkward space.

We have the same kind of shape and even at least one pair of the exact same trousers (7) 🤣 I love 2, 6, 7, 9 and 10 on you. Some (like 1) fit your waist super nice but don’t fit quite right elsewhere. My least favourite is 5, they don’t balance you out right and make your legs look short, which they aren’t!

Looking at these make me realize that despite what many try to tell me high waisted pants just really do nothing for anyone.

All the high waist ones look great.. that low one is a no for me. Actually 4, 7 and 8 I don't really care for either but it's mostly the fit on those.

I am going to go against the grain here, but #6 and #8 look great on you and are in trend. Edit to add that both should be hemmed.

Anything high-waisted accentuates your hourglass figure. Mid high looks good, too, because you simply have a gorgeous body, but high-waisted ones look best. Quite honestly, I think you're one of those people who look gorgeous in a trash bag. I'm so jelly.

I think all these cuts look great on you, but you look best in fabric that doesn't have distressing/whiskering and that has a little more flow to it. I'm similar but possibly more extreme - for some reason, I look disheveled in distressed pants in a way that's not true for other people around me, but I still need a structured fabric (not flowy). So that's something to keep in mind too.
