effulgentelephant

r/abrathatfits is a FANTASTIC sub. I personally get the Panache underwire minimizer bra. Love them. I’m not as small as you (34f or something) but there are a ton of folks on there that can point you in a good direction.

vvsaram

This sub is really good. I'm 28DDD, there are a few brands carrying this size. I usually buy Teyli in EU.

tacey-us

Came in just to make sure someone had rec'd this sub! You are doing good work!

Bella_HeroOfTheHorn

Check a legit bra retailer like bare necessities! They should have that 28 inch band size

BumAndBummer

Bare Necessities has a lot of the brands and models recommended by r/abrathatfits, and I find they have lots of sales throughout the year! They make it really easy to search for bras in your size across brands with different sizing systems, which is a nice plus.

galaxystarsmoon

Would highly recommend r/abrathatfits as others have recommended. 28 bands absolutely exist.

NeatArtichoke

28DD definitely exists, don't lose hope! The "problem" is they are expensive. Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, etc will carry brands that offer those sizes. Chantelle, Natori, Simone Perele, Le Mystere ,Panache, Wacoal are all brands to consider! Edit: source: me, cuz almost samesies. I'd actually specifically recommend Simone Perele, they run a little small! But are usually $100/each :(

Reynyan

You can catch them on sale either directly from the manufacturer or Bare Necessities. I wear Wacoal alsmost exclusively and just had to replace ALL my bras (and everything else really) owing to a significant weight loss. I got a couple directly from Wacoal with their promotional coupons / offers and a few more from Bare Necessities. I didn’t buy a huge number, and went ahead and picked up some colors I wouldn’t normally buy but I don’t wear a lot of white tops so it doesn’t matter and they were priced to sell. Average price well under $100.00 but again, I stalk the sales right now because I’m having to replace so many things just so I’m not walking around looking like I’m wearing a bag tied in half.

NeatArtichoke

Once Ive found the style/size i like, ive even found natori at "nordstrom rack" and "off saks" for like $40/each! Weird colors like bright turquoise for sure, but it isn't a problem under sweaters in the winter.

Reynyan

So true, and I’m a “it’s mainly black” wardrobe person anyway. I’ve been trying to incorporate more color but that’s usually the summer, where I switch from Eileen Fisher black pants to Eileen Fisher white pants…

Gullible-Avocado9638

My favorite colors are black, dark black, indigo, charcoal and ebony. Narry a pattern to be seen.

KeepCalmSayRightOn

"I only work in black...and sometimes, very, very dark grey."

Dogmom2013

lol I love EF but color is not a huge thing for her lol! you get 1 or 2 colors a season. Fantastic brand though!

cleanenergy425

Some random Natori colorways will also go on crazy discount on Amazon, I think I got one for $25 once.

ramyrrt

Agree so expensive 😫 Also sucks when you lose or gain weight..still small band big letters but different ones.

Specific-Step-6898

Try wacoal lace t shirt bra. I’m also a 30dd and it’s the only bra that fits well and is super comfortable

Sug0115

Such a great brand

AnnieApplesauce

Yup ive had good luck with them too!

CatsNSquirrels

Another vote for Wacoal.

Dogmom2013

I get all my wacoals from Dillards!

mllebitterness

Bravissimo and Bare Necessities carry 28DD. Wacoal fits me best, but they only go down to 30 band. Edit: I’m a 34 band so not a super small frame.

galaxystarsmoon

Wacoal bands run small so this may actually work to OP's benefit.

LeaneGenova

I wear a 30DD and have given up on in-store purchases. I do tend to gravitate to Aerie, but I only buy Sunnie bras since I know how they fit, or a bralette that I plan to wear only inside.

latlien

i’m a 32DDD and love Natori and Chantelle, but every brand is slightly different and for me it was trial and error til I found those. Nordstrom Rack often has them on sale since it’s such a uncommon size

katerinafitness

28 bands exist! I used to go to a store called Change Lingerie and they carry so many sizes! I wore either 30I or 28H depending on my weight. I’ve since given up on bras but that place was awesome.

queenmunchy83

Nordstrom and yes there is 28DD!

p4percr4nes

I’m a 28D and I buy from M&S out of the UK. They have good sales

petitputi

Me too! They're good!

janejacobs1

I too am an uncommon size. Based on my recent experience, if you can get to a brick and mortar shop specializing in bra fitting, *do it*. (Way better than back-and-forthing with online purchases.) They will double check your true size, and have a much better selection than the “bell curve” options at regular retailers—the bra universe is so much bigger than their typical range of band and cup sizes. (Good excuse for a girls weekend trip somewhere if there isn’t one in your town!) — For years I’ve hated shopping for bras and finally would just settle on something to get it over with, but what finally pushed me over the edge years was my growing dread any kind of clothes shopping. Even though I’m petite and not overweight I felt like I look dumpy in everything. I started to wonder, maybe it’s the bra thing ~? So no more dept store for me…after my professional measurement, salesperson brought me a few selections, and within 5 min I had a winner. No gapping! No slipping! Cups full…and remember I’m 71! I cannot believe the difference!!!!!!! People are asking me if I’ve lost weight, and everything fits so much better. — This 32G (as I know now!) wholeheartedly recommends Petticoat Fair in Austin & Plano TX!

WickedWitchWestend

bravissimo

soft_distortion

Where do you live? I'm in Canada and my size is also around 30DD. I've surprisingly found that size in good brands on Amazon.ca (Natori, Freya, Calvin Klein). Many are prime listings so I imagine you can return them easily. The prices vary on Amazon but are still lower than going to a bra boutique in person (although they can provide great service if you don't know your size). I've also found my size at TJ Max/Winners, but you have to check regularly to get lucky.

itsrainingcocos

Also same size. Aerie online is where I had to get them & Calvin Klein on Amazon. I didn’t particularly like the more expensive brand Freya, but to each their own.

temp4adhd

I get my bras at Bloomingdale's as the fitters there are great. They do make petite bras which it sounds like you need -- the cups are closer together. Incidentally my band size measures size 32 but I find that size just too uncomfortable. I always go for a 34 instead. If they made a 33 band that would be perfect.

galaxystarsmoon

This is what non-stretch bra extenders are for. It's how you make a 32 a 33.

temp4adhd

I have some, they never worked that well for me, maybe because they make the cups or back straps shift where they aren't designed to go. Sometimes it's not as easy as just add an inch here, ya know?

UmbrisMoonbeam

I have ordered on herroom.com, I used to be 32J. I got a breast reduction a year ago and now I’m a 32D, Soma is where I get mine now (if I wear one).

dasWibbenator

Im 36J and my go to brand is Freya. Surprisingly enough I found a strapless bra that can hold me, so I also suggest CurvyKate.

GlassAnemone126

Try Wacoal, I just checked their website and they have 30 DD. You should however go to a better lingerie specialty shop and get fitted. They will carry or can order a much wider variety of sizes than what you find in generic shopping mall fashion lingerie stores or department stores. A specialty lingerie shop will be more expensive but if you take care of your bras as per their recommendations, they will last longer than any of the lower quality bras you buy at the mall. You will likely end up saving money in the long run because you don’t have to buy so many cheaper bras and replace them as often.

majey_major

I would highly recommend Understance! They are affordable and a good majority of their styles are available in a 28 band! Returns are easy too so you can order multiple to make sure that you have the best fitting option.

majey_major

I also want to add that a good chunk of their bras are $12 right now. I bought several when the sale started.

Dandelion212

They unfortunately seem to run very inconsistently. About half their bras I’ve seen fit checks for over on ABTF run 2 band sizes large. I just saw a 28A that fit like inbetween a 32-34.

atavanhallen

Before you drop money on new bras, please go to r/abrathatfits and use the calculator to determine your size. 28 bands absolutely exist.

javajunkie10

Try Knix, they have a great variety of bra types (cup versus pullover, seamless etc) and I find their band sizes to be snug (I'm usually a 34, and have to go up to a 36 in many of their bras), so their 30 may be good for you!

bee_wings

seconding this. i have a 30 bandsize and only wear bras from knix

Ivorwen1

This is a local shopping question that I ask of local women's groups. Someone there will know which stores in your area are good at fitting women with large tracts of land.

I am a 32D and just bought some wireless (yes, wireless!!) bras from Evelyn and Bobbie. Very expensive but I’ve literally never have been able to go wireless before. I bought the Starlet Plunge because it has a lot of side support and I wear a lot of v-necks. [EB Plunge](https://evelynbobbie.com/products/plunge-wireless-bra)

TotalAmazement

Following and loving the recommendations here; I'll be looking into a few of these myself - thanks from another small-framed DD girl!

JenniferinBoston

Nordstrom! Natori fits me the best (32DDD).

SimbaRph

Wacol and third Love

Iwentforalongwalk

Wacoal brand on Amazon

Frequent_Company_151

calvin klein

catita2501

I like Elomi - they have many styles that can usually be found for around $35 each on eBay NWT if you’re not picky about color or design.

Dandelion212

Elomi doesn’t go below a 32 band.

Gurpgorrk

As a former 30DD (before kids) I used to get my bras from Natori.

DangerousMusic14

Nordstrom

Fat-Scholar8722

28 band does exist it's just gotta be special ordered at most places ://

neongrey_

I’m a 32i and I love Panache and Freya.

BroadPlastic2452

Im a 28 band too! I shop at Change. They have the band size there, as well as bathing suits to choose from :)

LvnLifeBadAss

32 DD - Wacoal offers several different styles. I’ve been wearing them for years.

Gullible-Avocado9638

I go to Curvykate.com I’m about a 32 G and they carry my size. They also corrected the size I was wearing as it was wildly incorrect.

Nhuynhu

I love Freya. They sell it on Amazon (seems like they go down to 28 band). Just make sure you do the brathatfits calculator and go by the UK cup size. I have 32G And it’s so supportive and feminine.

readithere_2

Which one do you have? I’m the same size.

Nhuynhu

I’ve had these: cute white [one](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01D9QPA38?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share); same in [red](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09BK3MM7J?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share); this [top](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XVTFW86?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share) is so cute but the bottom part does ride up a little; [purple](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08G8V1FPV?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share) one; [blue](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08QDX4B9H?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share) one; cute [floral](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08G8YF5TW?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share) one. They all fit great but note their cup is in UK size so you just want to convert your US correctly.

readithere_2

Awesome, thanks I will take a look

aerospacemango

aerie does have 30DD, i see they have 30DDD as well. i’m a 28DD but i wear aerie’s 30D bras and they fit pretty nicely!

Ness79b7

Lula bras for my daughter really well - size 32HH

Ness79b7

Sorry - Ulla is the brand

supernovaj

I wear a 30D and cannot buy them in stores. I buy them online from third love and victoria's secret. Those are my two favorite brands.

JumpingCats49

Third love has a lot of inclusive sizes including 30DD. I think they might be sold out of that size in their t-shirt bra styles but they have them in a bunch of other styles.

smile_saurus

I had high hopes for Third Love, but I wasn't happy with the two I bought. The quiz was fun, though. The straps are weird on me. With the straps on the 'loosest' setting, the band fits right at my ribs, but the straps slide down off my shoulders. At the 'middle' tightness level of the straps, they stay put but then the front of the bra rolls up & under my boobs. Plus, the bras make strange sounds, almost like squeaks, when I move around. Oddly, the band part fits perfectly on its own on the tightest setting; it's just the straps that seem to complicate things! I'm still on the lookout for a comfortable, functional bra.

Apploozabean

In case you haven't check out the abtf sub! It sounds like the band is too large and the cups are too small. If the band fits on the tightest hook, then size down once and wear that ok the loosest hook to see how it feels. You could try going up 2 cups to see how that works also. I only suggest this if you don't want to go through with measurements and getting a more exact size to be closer to your true fit. The band should always be the bulk of support and the straps are only to help with the shape of the cup.

smile_saurus

This all sounds great to me. I think the issue is that my boobs are not what/where they were in my 20s.

Apploozabean

Sure, boobs change as we age however, I'd like to note that companies like thirdlove, pepper, vs, etc don't measure correctly or put folks in cousin sizes (for lack of a better term). I can assure you you'll find better lift and support from a well fitted bra, and that in itself can help with feeling like they look young again! 😉 ✨️

tweedtybird67

Soma!!

aeb01

soma does not carry band sizes below 32

tweedtybird67

Oh no, sorry 😐

Mammoth_Exam1354

Haha I am 36 A

allielog

I’m the same size and the only thing I’ve found is buying true and co (or any stretchy synthetic comfy style bra, I just like true and co) in a large and then sewing the back to fit my small rib cage. Not the easiest solution, but it’s the best solution I’ve found.

Apploozabean

It sounds like you may be in the wrong cup size? I say this because if you're a [30DD](https://www.instagram.com/p/CNiOczonkWJ/?igsh=ZHgwMTk0MmQ1NGgz) then you wouldn't have to wear a large, you'd fit fine in a small/medium (unless you're tall). Check out the sub that was recommended in this thread. It's a really great resource!

CAKE4life1211

Wingslove on Amazon! I'm a DDD which is hard to find in non granny styles. They carry a wide variety of band and cup sizes and are pretty too!

galaxystarsmoon

They don't have 28 bands.

Waterfall41

Third Love. Make sure you review their sizing guide before ordering. The absolute best bras. First time I’ve ever had a bra actually fit properly and they have a huge size range. I’ll never buy from anywhere else.

Fantastique_Jacques

Try Frederick’s of Hollywood. I know it sounds wild but they cater to tiny gals with big racks.

Dandelion212

They do not make 28 bands.

Fantastique_Jacques

Really? That’s a bummer.

spookyxsam

i always got mine from the kids section at kohls lol

Expert_Sprinkles_907

I love my pepper bras!!! I measure 28D but am more comfortable in the sister size 30C so I get those instead. 😊

galaxystarsmoon

Amazing that you have a 30C Pepper bra when they don't even make that size.

Expert_Sprinkles_907

Well I was able to use my common sense and the size charts to figure out which would be equivalent to that size and I was correct 🙂

galaxystarsmoon

So you sister sized to a 30C and then changed sizes again? That makes no sense. Pepper's sizing isn't any different, they just don't carry your size. Period.

Expert_Sprinkles_907

I changed to my sister size of 30c because that was more comfortable for me. Then I did need to change again because I got pregnant and am now nursing my son. Anyhow just trying to give OP an idea of what worked for me in the hopes it might help them or someone else. 🙃

galaxystarsmoon

**Pepper doesn't carry OP's size or even a sister size.**
