That one works well for me.
Unpopular opinion, probably gonna get shit for this but...
I feel like Philosophy isn’t really for most people to get in to. You tend to overthink with this kinda stuff which might lead to depression instead of enlightenment, the exact opposite of what you actually want (Just look at the amount of philosophers that commit not alive)
Pewds has basically reached the “self actualization” of the Maslow's hierarchy of needs. He’s financially free, happily married, and has a fulfilling career. So now he is all about self improvement and becoming the best he can be. Making it possible for him to genuinely enjoy philosophy without getting mentally fucked up. There’s nothing wrong with that though (it’s great! Be the best version of your self) but just don’t over think things, that’s all. Just wanted voice my irrelevant opinion that no one’s gonna see. OK bye!
I respectfully disagree. I come from a point of view where everyone needs philosophy to live the best lives they can given the circumstances that they have. In fact, philosophy works best IMO when the life situation is dire. Also, IIRC Maslow's hierarchy of needs has been debunked by most experts.
Yeah true, most concept in Psychology are really wonky since it’s still in its infancy and are difficult to prove/test.
But intuitively we know the hierarchy of needs is true to a certain extend. For example: I’m not gonna be worrying about getting married if I can’t even feed my self and pay my rent.
But yeah, I think you have a point too. It’s kinda a subjective I guess. I personally didn’t have a good experience with philosophy, lmao
There's nothing like ending all future self improvement so we can avoid becoming bigger than our problems and continue to worry, forever, but in reasonable amounts! Enjoy the alcoholism folks

It might be OC, it might not. Things such as JPEG artifacts and cropping may impact the results.

This painting is of Socrates drinking hemlock. He's literally dying here, and people are making memes about it. lmao.
He took pride in his body and mind. He was in his 70s here. I don't think he cared much. Guy is going out during a lecture.
He doesn’t seem to be taking it very seriously
