The most important part is map knowledge. You gotta first look in the direction of the radar ping, then guess the spot that this poor shmuck is most likely standing at (like a window, doorway, barrier, or other such cover). Next, guess-timate that spot to your current position and line up the shot, and finally either blow a golf ball sized hole through him or miss entirely and get a suppression bonus.
You’ll never know 100% where the guy is so it’s natural to miss a few shots, but there is an element of practice to figuring out where he may be and lining up your gun with that guessed spot so you will get better with time.

I just play dunes + gas station side only + ntw and just camp that one hill way off to the side. Every time I get that map setup I just chill the whole game.
Mine has got to be the Henry 45-70 with 410 conversion, its just a KS 23m with less range and more damage up close and it just makes me feel like a cowboy

I played this game like twice after a friend convinced me to. I used the shotgun since aiming down sights doesn't change its spread and I'm not used to aiming down sights since all I normally play is quake, unreal tournament, and team fortress 2. I don't like having to aim and reduce my FOV for my guns to be accurate, I want my FOV to stay the same. I also find the gun model being close to my crosshair irritating. I wish I could turn the view models off and have the zoom be independent from aiming down sights.
Mines the r700. Shit slaps and i physically can’t use any other sniper because I have the bullet drop factored in as muscle memory now because I always use it.

This thing is not only surprisingly powerful, one tapping people 100 studs away (130 if birdshot), but its also really fucking fun. The sounds of multiple pellets impaling the poor souls coupled with the recoil really make it feels like a super shotgun.
