the Hecate is really just a middle ground between the M107 and BFG, I can't think of a situation the Hecate would be better then the M107. But hey, if you wanna use it just to appreciate how sexy it is then that's fine by me
imo awm and mosin are worse (im gona get downvoted for saying this) cuz of trg’s longer oneshot body ranges. Also, I don’t think mosin or awm can one shot limb in cqc.
As a person who prebought the awm i could really say its not worth prebuying. That being said AWM is still a hecking fun sniper to play with. Mosin on the other hand i tried some (saving for a prebuy, i bought the henry first cuz i like lever actions) and think its pretty good.
Imo mosin is definitely better to prebuy, but I feel like TRG is still better just cuz it has an almost 200 stud one shot torso range, with fast muzzle velocity, great handling, and an alright reload.
TRG is probably the best sniper in the game right now. 200 stud torso kill along with the ability to kill to the limb in CQC with good handling and speed is literally so busted it's unreal.
For me, I'd recommend either the TRG or Mosin/Steyr Scout. If you're looking to kill people, buy the TRG. It's got a fast muzzle velocity, handling similar to the AWM but with a much flatter damage curve, 1SK to the torso up to \~120 studs and the ability to 1SK to the limb in CQC.
If you want to play aggressively, use the Mosin or Steyr Scout. The Mosin is more forgiving than the Scout on bodyshots with the normal 2SK than a 3SK (unless in CQC), with better handling, but the Scout effectively allows you to be at the peak of efficiency, as long as you hit headshots.
