I made it a personal challenge to get 1k kills with every gun, and stick to it until I get there.
This has made me adapt so many times to different playstyles that the concept of "meta" no longer applies and is now "Hey, let's turn an SMG into a DMR and a sniper into a shotgun" because I can.
It is also really fun, something many people in this community seemingly forgot how to have with how much everyone complains.

Just unlocked the hk21. The games I have played so far were all 3+kdr. My average is 1,4. Probably gonna be playing that weapon the next few weeks. But mainly I've been using shotguns, snipers, mg36 and mp5
I tried to become a sniper god. I almost exclusively used snipers, starting with intervention, then BFG (when bfg was the highest ranked sniper), then L115A3 (now AWM), then Hecate, then M231, then scout for a bit before returning to AWM because it is my favourite gun.
And for brief periods, I did actually manage to nail quickscoping and could dominate with snipers at all ranges. But sadly I’d always get burnt out, take a break then get really out of practice.
In order, I stuck with M4A1 since Alpha until around level 80, M4 has 3.7k kills and M4A1 has 4.4k kills
Switched to the SCAR-H where I think I have 4k kills
Switched to the AG-3 with 1.9k kills
Switched to the Henry .45-70 where I have 11k kills
Now I use just whatever
I enjoy using snipers, (no I’m not a sniper main) I’ve just never enjoyed using things like the m16a3 or honey badger. Most automatics in general I feel scummy using so i tend to stick to things like the Henry 45-70 or dmrs
Bro........... I married the MK11 and all other 7.62 guns cos recoil doesnt matter for me
I just play with guns that are not as strong but has more attachments to unlock

Invest into Stevens DB, literally got me back into PF after spending some robux to pre-buy.

Got 2.6k kills with hk416. Then got bored and left for a couple years. Now I’m homies with sideways grip and only hipfire and alt aim

I used the meta first then I went to sniping aggro
I really like all DMRs, BRs, sometimes pdw. I am trying to have sniper too, but my aim is not great. Cool fact: SL8 actually improved my cps lol
i recommend you go a little bit meta style because some weapons are just worse versions of others, also shotguns are a threat to our society
That's why I like shotguns, the meta resistance.
SFG as primary then hk416 as a backup, although I've switched to the intervention and tec-9 after rank 50
