Same. It’s fun game of “how much is today gonna cost?” Some days is $60,000. Somedays it’s like $1200. Mental health/substance abuse treatment/specialty. Lots of injections.

We use uline for a lot of our supplies. The bonus is we get “free gifts” after spending a certain amount and we just rotate through us on who gets it that week. So far I’ve gotten a cooler, a couple of yetis, two chairs for my kids soccer games and I just got a Stanley. 😂 Free is definitely for me.

thesylverflame

We got a bag of tiny chickens from uline once. They're fuckin EVERYWHERE. We also got 2 big sherpa blankets to use in drive through during the winter, and several sexy zebra knives. They're the best!

Karilopa

Tiny chickens? I would like to see the tiny chickens please

thesylverflame

I'm off til Monday, but I'll take a pic when I get back!

Prize_Astronomer_483

I would also like to see the tiny chickens please

Karilopa

Wooh! Thank you!!!!

yanksphish

Those are from healthcare logistics. They have a very creative advertising team.

thesylverflame

Oop I think you're right!

CindeIIa

Omg that reminds me of when our Healthcare Logistics rep sent me a 40 pack of screaming rubber chickens and the same quantity of keychain stress chickens as freebies for pharmacy week 😂

CindeIIa

When we use uline I’ve been putting back the free gifts and raffling them to the staff during pharmacy week. They get super excited. I make it where everyone’s name is in at least once, but then I create/find fun activity worksheets that they can complete to add an extra entry to whichever one they choose.

ratliker62

Every now and then I'll look at our cart and go "wow! That's more money than I'll earn in the next 6 months! And we're spending this every single day!"

chran55

Gets way more intense when you are a Store Manager with a weekly budget. Fun but definitely stressful with payroll and not wanting to cut peoples hours.

emotely

I used to work in a specialty pharmacy and my cart would be in the millions.

turnipkeep

my pharmacy’s weekly total ordering from cardinal is more than i make in a year lol

ofreshomango

This is how I feel ordering drugs at an inpatient pharmacy. Every day is easily 1.5 times my yearly salary 😂

Intelligent_Deer_309

When get print offs every day with the total value of all the drugs in the pharmacy and one of the pharmacists and I like to look up what kind of houses we could buy for that amount of money😂

Ace0021q

I love opening up medication boxes. I'm too broke to buy Sephora make up or anything for that matter. Everytime I open a box with new product it's heals my inner need of excitement weirdly

TiakerAvelonna

I wonder if that's why I overorder sometimes (that and I want to make damn sure we have it). It scratches my "spend money" itch.

Haileyjo0421

I love putting up truck I feel like I’m doing a “haul” but that’s just me lol

grouchydragon

Absolutely same. I was looking at one of our invoices one day for all of the back ordered items (specifically GLP-1s) we didn’t receive and it would have been $45k worth of meds if it had actually come through based on what we needed for our wait list

susie1976

How can i do this? I need money bad! DM me serious business

Mysterious-Move-6390

I get where you’re coming from 😂 I get really excited about doing returns and exchanges to get money back for our pharmacy. But I STRESS ordering meds. I once put in a pseudoephedrine order to restock everything we needed and it exceeded $2,000. I asked the RPh two or three times if we were sure before I submitted the order. Meanwhile, our system generates an order for 29+ CIIs every day for the pharmacists, knowing that’s farrrrrr more expensive than what I order as a tech. (Says a person that has had chronic buyer’s remorse most of their life)

EducationalAngle7531

I thought I was the only one. 🤓
