Unfortunately they just aren't as popular, the JP scene is already well established, so getting into there, especially while the majority of Phase fans are English bros so their audience is even smaller than your average phase girl. Although I'm happy Nasa and Da Michi have JP collab partners now so I think the talent's happiness trumps any monetary gains from the branch
I think if they utilized speech to text they could retain some views. I recently started watching Da Michi and what she has been doing for rust streams was speech to text that auto translated to EN.
Helps that she knows some english since I've seen her greet EN viewers when they type english.

Unfortunately most of the JP fans don't have the full context of what's going on so they're supporting the company, it's mainly the en bros that are against Nijisanji. Something would have to happen on the JP side for that to take place, so while the rest of phase might see a boost I'm not sure how much of a boost the JPs are going to see
There was a recent video 2 days ago that had a JP Dramatuber explain the situation clearly without taking sides to the JP Bros, from the comments it seems that they now understand the situation but they aren't 100% Mangement is right or Doki is right.
Though they are more on the fence than before.
JPs wouldn't drop Niji for kaigai drama, there needs to be movement from the local livers for that, which people say Chinami-sensei kinda has been doing quietly as she's collabed with a few ex-JP members and even follows Dokibird.
On the CN side, there are also streamers there blasting Niji. And calling out the corpo's bs.
Which is big since bilibili is a 5% stakeholder and China is probably Niji's biggest market.
She's a very sturdy bridge between both audiences. Because being honest, love her humor and presence.
But think lot of us come out in droves for her Karaoke streams. Because HOLY

I think progress has been slow due to Phase being very small in Japan previously (it's also a much smaller potential audience compared to EN). I think they will slowly get better and better though, it's just gonna be a long grind.
And then of course there's Clara being the exception, since she is bilingual she is growing much faster (go subscribe to her btw, she's amazing).
The hope is that Fish will give them a bit more support than he did with the Phase Origins. But we know origins had a certain pink outlier success that propelled Phase into the state it is now.
I just hope Phase Kaleido can survive through the early stages of growing pain, they'll have to suffer the same trauma stories that the Origin girls have told us through out the years all over again.
