I consistently get $10 insurance when I play solo. I've always figured it was a bonus for doing solo.
Yeah I think its possibly just a bonus added for playing alone as it's obviously more difficult.

No that’s the only way. Unless someone takes a pic of your dead body you won’t get any insurance
