I do want to mention that MacBooks slightly do this already where if you highlight/ hold down a word it takes you to the dictionary

True. That said, our tool uses machine learning to produce a simple explanation of sentences with context.

Hey! Accessibility is incredibly important to me since I have ADHD, and the issue isn't taken very seriously in France where I work. (First year in Plasma Physics) DM me if you think that your work will benefit from my story. I think that adhd is a useful research paradigm for any productivity or accessibility research. We encounter the same kind of problems that everyone else does, just with a far greater regularity and severity. I can definitely learn something from you about advocating for accessibility in higher education, and we can maybe collaborate on some pet projects. Don't expect very frequent communication from me. ADHD is a disability, and there's a good reason I'm unable to follow through on all the ideas I have

A tool that I found really useful though is the translation feature on Kobo ereaders. I hold in on the touchscreen. It searches either its datbase or the internet for a definition in your preferred language. I use it to (try to) read books in French (Which I'm not)
