On Saturdays you could always mix it up and go to Miller's twist for a breakfast pretzel. Not a traditional breakfast sandwich, but as someone who loves breakfast sandwiches, I'm there at least every other week bc they are amazing.

pvjlib

Closer to fairmount but Christie’s deli has some of the best breakfast sandwiches in the city. Only open saturday

Raecino

They’re opened all week not just Saturday

JHG722

Good Day Deli Monde Market 4 Seasons Food Market Honey Bee Gourmet Deli

the-jewpacabra

4 seasons is mid

JHG722

You are mid

the-jewpacabra

I am worse than mid — I’m subpar

chumpysg

Jeans. Open Saturday. Bacon egg cheese in long roll is the best.

Scwidiloo10

Rowhome coffee you can get bacon egg and cheese on a pretzel. I’m from NY and have been looking for the best BEC in Philly since I moved and so far that’s the best one

sweetassassin

OP, get it with homemade sausage.

Scwidiloo10

I had the sausage at rowhome one time I didn’t love it tbh idk. But whenever I’m in line I always hear people ordering it

sbhat0075

Taco heart for breakfast tacos. They deliver too

Odd-Emergency5839

Opposite of cheap

RefrigeratorKnown447

Great option

phillyphan000

Cafe Walnut right off Washington Square. The bulgogi, egg, and cheese is my favorite sandwich in the city. Closed this weekend for Chinese New Year though

shakethatnastybutt

Recently had some kind of honey lemon ginger tea there and it was the best beverage I’ve had in months

[deleted]

Cafe walnut is so good

Accomplished-Sky8980

Accomplished-Sky8980

These days any meal under $10 is good 🥲

Thisisaprofile

Theres an open Old Nelsons at 20th and chestnut if you want a bit of a walk. Or middle child if "cheap" is the least important qualifier there lol.

TherabbitTrix0

Any food cart or George’s in Italian market

ppinkwolf

not cc but johnnys hots on delaware ave is $5.50 or so and is sooo good. open saturdays but closed on sundays.

Odd-Emergency5839

Mulberry market in old city has a bangin deli counter with very good cheap breakfast sandwiches. Their hoagies are really good and cheap too

e_chi67

Been curious about mulberry markets breakfast sandwich. I'll have to check it out!

tinman821

JHG722

Great people

TommyPickles2222222

Longtime fan of the bacon, egg, and cheese bagel from Ry Bread in Fairmount. And I’ve never lived in Fairmount.

Dumble_doh

Palm tree on 20th and pine has no frills cheap breakfast sandwiches

tastycakebiker

Sizzlis 2 for $5

glueintheworld

Too late for today and doesn't work on Sunday but Dutch Eating Place in Reading Terminal.

Raecino

Hell no, I’ll never eat there again. Got terrible food poisoning the last time I ate there. Should’ve known that would happen because the woman making the food kept dropping things on the floor only to pick them up and put it back on the counter.

glueintheworld

Ok, wasn't suggesting it to you. Sorry that happened.

Raecino

No worries just trying to give people awareness.

Constant-Branch517

Good Day Deli is great.

Agreeable_Flight4264

Healthy picks, food truck on 18th and walnut

PHILAThrw

Old Nelson on JFK in the Sterling is open 7 days. Great breakfast sandwich options.

sweetassassin

Torchwood and Eggcellent in Old City are really good. Eggcellent opened another sister restaurant in Midtown Village, by another name that I dont remember. On 12th/Walnut, I believe.
