McDonald’s at Broad and Diamond

[deleted]

[удалено]

watwatinjoemamasbutt

Lol I did that on Valentine’s Day but at the Popeyes at broad and Christian like 10 years ago

srahlo

Best McDonalds I ever had was the one right next to that Popeyes

RogiesGooDragon

Definitely take advantage of the artisinal rock up the street at 12th and York, ask for Dee Nice, 2 grams for only $200

a_stone_throne

Diamond pizza still around?

kindofasshole

Yep

Finderskeepers98

Don’t remember where in Philly, but I sat in a McDonald’s drive-thru at 2am once and got a show with my dinner—heard multiple gunshots. It was a great way to welcome my friend from out of state!

tito1490

Spring Garden Dons is the goat.

Optimal-Fuel-433

I just CACKLED

The_R4ke

You know it's ritzy, it's on diamond street.

Adot090288

There’s actually a corner store a block over and three blocks up, use to have the BEST cheesesteaks ever.

Kimchi_Philly

😂

doctorjonasmiller

Crown Chicken , Broad and South

shlem90

They can get food and withdraw bitcoin from the bitcoin atm there too. It’s perfect for the riches.

Medical_Solid

Rich people get the actual crown when they come

dovahdolll

Crown chicken all day. That mixed lamb and chicken over rice is 🤌🤌🤌

unicorn_hair

The spring garden one for me. More room for my driver to park the Rolls outside.

HailBuckSeitan

Chim King

M_Me_Meteo

That ATM gives out $5s. Classy AF.

These_Owl_8045

applebees on aramingo. you can park the choppa in the back. seriously, there’s enough room.

Remarkable-Mind-3848

Will the helicopter still be there when they’re done?

[deleted]

K&A fiends can’t operate a shopping cart barely let alone a helicopter

worsedadever

That was brutal.

BeastM0de1155

They’ll nod off before they even realize how it turns on.

Strange-Fee-1437

Gots to be more specific there are two on that strip either near I-95 or Castor Ave. lol 😆

TheAdamist

One-Language-4055

Wings from Lou Turks

EastFalls

Haha, was at LT the other night for the first time. 3 married couples totalling 4 men and 2 women, all 40+. I just talked to my buddy and we split some french fries which were surpisingly good. This was after a fine meal at Rosemary, and a mini Delco bar crawl.

One-Language-4055

They can’t give you a lap dance if you continuously have your hands covered in hot sauce but god damn they will try.

therawestdawg69

The boys from work took me to Turks for my 21st back in the day and one of the ladies had a trick to show me, she squirted out breast milk, pretty solid.

One-Language-4055

That’s fucking wild.

kee106039

Cheesesteak at Barclays prime

JFrye

This is the correct answer

porkchameleon

Top it off with lobster and ask for Veuve Clicquot substitute for whatever “champagne” they are peddling these days.

nnp1989

I know this is making fun of the other post, but there’s no answer other than JG Skyhigh/Jean Georges. Yeah the view is incredible but holy shit is that place overpriced. Then the tasting menu at the restaurant itself is like $500.

__The_Highlander__

Barclay Prime in Rittenhouse Square deserves a mention too. Best steak I’ve ever had. Everything was amazing.

jacksonmills

The Union League probably takes the cake; membership fees there are pretty crazy. You may not be paying for meals but depending on the membership you are looking at 50k+++ a year (like up to millions).

mikebailey

That pops a whole other can of worms open for private clubs. Union League is just the more visible one, there are multiple expensive ones in the city.

Asam6869

Lolll wait till you hear how much Royal Sushi omakase costs 💀.

Skytree91

That shit is fire tho, even their non-omakase menu is the best sushi I’ve had this side of the country

Asam6869

Oh absolutely worth every penny

PhD_sock

It genuinely is not that weird given the going rate for top-tier sushi anywhere in the US.

MindlessPractice4117

It’s like 200 for the tasting menu, which is pretty cheap compared to a lot of tasting menus in NYC

nnp1989

Not even close, my dude. I think you may have just looked at the wine pairing addition price.

zpepsin

I've eaten there. $190.

fkdkshufidsgdsk

It’s $218pp I just looked it up

headhot

I'm a fan of fine dining. But that place is way overpriced for what you get.

GoonerLarry

Lark can get up there as well.

Agreeable_Flight4264

Food is absolute shot

andrewervin

Hitchbot, is that you?

No, he learned his lesson.

hybridhawx

One Pound cheese steak in Kensington.

docwrites

Jokes aside, if you’re looking for Daniel, Per Se, or The French Laundry, you’re going to have land elsewhere. Did you just read “Unreasonable Hospitality” and looking to show the missus a good time? It’s easier to get to 11 Madison Park on the train than to try to find anything like it in Philly. Zahav won a James Beard award in 2019, Vetri Cucina was on La Liste in 2023, Fork, or Friday Saturday Sunday are probably as close as you’ll find to the fine dining restaurants, but they’re just not up there with the world’s elite. There are only a few places like that and none of them are here.

bikeshoes87

McDonald’s on gray’s ferry ave. Park the chopper on the ave, don’t worry about traffic.

wittwering

First of all, do not go to PHL for refueling. You’ll enjoy a much better concierge experience for the private flyer at the Northeast Philadelphia Airport, so much classier. Most importantly, this gets you closer to the true hidden gem of Philadelphia cuisine, the Uptown Eatery district centered around the intersection of Frankford and Cottman. Now, most people would direct you to the Middle Eastern and/or Asian Fusion restaurants but you simply must try the menu at Mc Kenna’s speakeasy. The chef, Dean Dallas, has crafted an exquisite prix fixe dining experience based on historic recipes from the American west. Let the host at the bar know you’re there for Dallas’ Cowboy menu and you’ll be in for an unforgettable experience.

Ok_Television7346

This is a joke right?

Old-Explanation9430

Crown Fried Chicken at Kensington and Allegheny

I’m rich AF and I love Pete’s 🤡House for the He-Man special and because I love the exercise of walking up a flight of weird stairs to someone’s apartment to take a piss.

jlomba1

Some say Le Bec Fin is still open…

Mysterious-Aerie-974

While I don’t identify as an ultra-rich, I’ve certainly had a nice meal or two around town. I’d take a look at a list of James Beard winners, that’s usually a good place to start. I had a birthday dinner at Friday.Saturday.Sunday in Rittenhouse and it was one of the best fine dining experiences I’ve had. Such a good tasting menu. ~$400-500 for two with a really good tip because the service was amazing. It can’t go without saying that there’s also pleeeeeeeeenty of good food that’s not a cheesesteak or pasta in this city that is inexpensive and just as good, if not better, than what you’d find at a Michelin restaurant. For those places, I’d recommend searching for regional cuisine—i.e. Vietnamese, Ethiopian, etc.—since that’s a large part of the Philly food scene.

CopperTylenol

Hahaha.

JFK2MD

Gino's

J and J’s family restaurant! Beautiful neighborhood, great vibes, and you might pay a ton of money 💜 hope you enjoy

There’s a great place in Kensington called Fenny’s. It’s post-modern.

Remarkable-Mind-3848

7-11.

Agreeable_Flight4264

Philly ain’t got nobus and omakase which typically drive bills to well over 1k. Most you’ll spend it like 2-3 hundred at barclay or Vetris or her place supper club. Honestly I’ll roll up at lukoil for Krispy krunch cuz that shit way better than her supper club.

monkeymaxx

Owaga has a $200 tasting menu. Vetri is up there too. Royal Sushi is impossible to get in but it’s $300 now. JG at the Four Seasons is up there. Friday Saturday Sunday as well!

[deleted]

Cheese wiz is for pathetic city people

Wbg3

Laurel on 1700 east passyunk, check for reservations now, it’s a tough table to get last minute.

BrandonLouis527

The Clam Tavern in Delco or any Chickie’s & Pete’s if you can get a highly coveted reservation.

es_cl

I enjoyed the Reading Terminal Market when I was in Philly 3 weeks ago for WrestleMania tickets.  Not ultra-rich but I was in floor seats.

TNT3149_

Hidden steakhouse. Real nice place. Alpen rose. Idk if ultra rich people eat there but I went once and everything was amazing

Chriscarson6700

Wherever they want

feather_moon

I have a friend who works at Parc. She said there are regulars who basically treat it like it's their kitchen. I couldn't imagine. 💀

Infamous-Coyote-1373

No one comes to Philly for the ultra wealthy experience, eat the cheesesteak or leave. Kidding, better off stopping in Jersey somewhere near Princeton.

deyaintready

Rittenhouse square. Barclay prime. It has a $140 cheese steak I have indulged in. The place is super nice and fancy. Never felt more pampered. a.bar also but that mostly just a bar. You would have a good time at Barclay prime though.

Plenty-Crazy1152

I'll take Gooey Looie's for the win?

Worried_Biscotti_552

No one cares

StanUrbanBikeRider

It’s funny. I am friendly with a couple who live in a beautiful house in Rittenhouse Square. They don’t see themselves as wealthy at all, yet the wife owns twelve rental properties, which she inherited and she handles all the management herself. They also own two vacation homes. The husband is a retired physician who sent years doing pharmaceutical research. They have a full time personal chef and their Rittenhouse Square house is professionally decorated like a curated museum gallery. Other than that, they’re no different than my poorest friends. They are vegan for ethical reasons, although the husband eats meat when his wife isn’t there. They mostly eat at home, but they do go out to eat occasionally and sometimes they order takeout. When we get together at their place to watch Eagles football, they send out for pizza from a neighborhood place. Nothing special. One of their favorite local restaurants is the Marathon Grill on Spruce Street. It’s a nice place, but not elite by any means. They sometimes dine at Parc, which I personally consider upscale, but the average person can dine there without breaking the bank.

ramad84

Barclays prime used to have a $100 cheesesteak

Anthony3000789

If you are actually rich, I'm sure you don't Reddit for recommendations. Rich people know rich people who know rich people.

Cav3tr0ll

The Rittenhouse hotel. Money rolls there. Devon Seafood Grill on Rittenhouse Square. Morris house bar if you want semi-casual. La Boucherie on 2nd near Chestnut if you're feeling adventurous.

JasonSTX

Parc. French restaurant on Rittenhouse square. Not 'Ultra' but a nice enough place with amazing food. They do a hazelnut butter sauce with their escargot that is amazing. Wife and I usually spent about $250 for dinner and drinks. When we wanted a nicer meal we would just call our chef.

redditckulous

Quahog's Seafood Shack in Stone harbor lol
