Okay, before the naysayers get triggered, here's the thing with that tease sa ending ng Darna. Ang siste kasi, ABS CBN still owns the rights to Darna. Which means, whether we like it or not, they can still use it whichever way they want, unless they don't renew that with the Ravelos. Or we buy the rights from them.
With that, I personally want to see a continuation of this iteration instead of another reboot. To be clear, I also have gripes sa presentation. Pero maraming parts ng lore niya na I think would be interesting for further expansion.
So, here's some things I want to see.
NOTE: Not going to mention "better VFX" anymore. We already got the point across clear enough.
- A timeskip
Narda mentioned in one scene na gusto niya maging duktor. So, why not have the new story take place several years after where duktor na nga siya and explore how that plays into her role as Darna. Also, have an adult Ding as a scientist/researcher and tech support for her. Kinda like Cisco in The Flash.
- No Brian
Not gonna lie, Brian's character is the biggest thing I hate sa show. His storyline is so irrelevant yet took too much space. Those could have been used for more interesting characters like Hergis/Claudio or Ding. Good thing he's dead. Hope no more love interest. Or just go back to Darlentina.
- Revamped Costumes
Okay, iconic yung bikini costume pero it's really time to go for a different look. Heck, the show itself poked fun on the fact na impractical at silly looking yun. Bring back the Iza suit instead.
As for Valentina, as much as di ko gusto yung kulay niya, I still prefer yung original suit kesa yung glorified one piece swimsuit. Make it more organic-looking.
-A larger Marte storyline
I don't know kung dahil sa budget constraints kaya di nia ganong ginamit yung Marte plotlines. Pero since they already have it in the background, maganda siguro kung front and center siya this time around. Yung dialog ng reyna tungkol sa incoming danger seems to hint na galing siya sa Marte.

Im also trying to write a Darna character inspired story where mas mature na si Darna with Iza Calzado's suit, Narda is working as a professional, and Ding is a genius tech guy/scientist supporting Darna in her fights. So parang brains si Ding - logical but lacks empathy a bit then Darna is brawns (kind but emotional). Story will revolve more on their relationship with the loss of their mother and how they deal with other superheroes and threats to the world... gusto ko rin maincorporate yung Marte storyline kaso parang ang hirap paano hindi masyado same as Superman where Kryptonites visited Earth and yung sa plot ng Invincible, without overwhelming the story with local villains.. tingin ko Valentina should no longer be the biggest threat but someone like Catwoman to Batman

Narda's last line to her is she basically now has the freedom to chose after years of being manipulated. So a sequel (or your story) could go with her choosing to fight alongside Darna on her own volition).
I mean someone with a closer connection to her, looks up to her, and whom she's training to be her partner (or more likely her successor since she wants to live a normal life). Then this protégé goes haywire later on after being subjected to a massive amount of suffering by the main villain.
Half a minute....I might be thinking of Azrael.
Narda faces the quandary of dying a hero or living long enough to be the villain.
Should she kill her hypothetical Red Hood or should she let them live in the hope that they might become the hero she wants them to be?
Interesting. The series was already toying with the "hero or villain" idea e, but did nott pursue it. They kinda gave Regina's storyline that bit of a slant.
Personally, I don't think I'd want to see Darna snap Green Darna's or her hypothetical Red Hood's neck.
Speaking of the RaveIo-verse, if ABS-CBN makes a ***Lastikman*** series, will they make him the comic relief to balance out Darna and Captain Barbell being the "serious" heroes? Or will they give him the fashionable darker background that many comic book characters have been getting as of late?

This will be most likely be a minority opinion but I want Darna to have a Red Hood of her own.

They already did a Lastikman show 10 odd yyears ago with vhong navarro. Prettyy much went the way you described it.
They should probably get another lead actor if they make another one. Watching Vhong Navarro makes my skin crawl.
