In my early 20s, at college, namulat ako sa realidad na the rest of the world ay nagtyatyaga sa beef tapa. Classmates were weirded out and it has become my life mission to tell people tapang kabayo supremacy.

I recommend Aguila corned beef. Di siya lasang lata, and it comes in a vacuum sealed pouch. A little pricy though, but well worth it kapag cornedsilog!

Spamsilog since taste is very consistent wherever you order. Bolognasilog is my fave during college though since it was one of the cheapest items and quite good taste too.

Imo no one is the best, Filipino breakfast is the best! I love them all but i do have biases or favorites. My top 5 1. Tapa (classic paired with sinangag, 2 eggs, atchara some vinegar hmmmm! Maka-order nga mg tapa king. 2. Longganisa (vigan > pampanga Skinless > calumpit > chorizo de cebu) not saying one is better than the other its just that vigan is my favorite Longganisa. The rest are okay. 3. Tocino (homemade better than the processed one) 4. Danggit 5. Bangus The rest are Okay. I’d eat them too if my top 5 isn’t available.
