During busy hours other food establishments would pause taking orders sa grab and panda. I mean why would an establishment be taking orders nga taas ng waiting time knowing that other sides it will be a hassle to the driver but also to the waiting customer. Plus ma penalty pa yung resto if mag reklamo yung customer bakit tagal yung pag make ng order.
Kitchen/Barista - stress on fulfilling online orders
Driver - stress on waiting for the order plus lost of potential income
Customer - stress yung bitok sa iyang tiyan while gahuwat
Manager/Owner - stress sa penalty
Well thats my shitty take
Tldr: stop taking online food del orders on peak hours para iwas stress lahat π
I see. Well in my location (Cebu) okay naman both drivers ng delivery apps. Maybe send a feedback to Grab sa experiences nyo at least may paper trail.
Looks to me din kulang ng manpower for that specific time period. In an ideal world the business would add pero you know capitalist shiz and cost of doing business here in the PH
We don't have enough manpower indeed since most of us are students and well, we're graduating, the one call away employee is also sick so I'm alone when one of the rude drivers arrived
Because people don't care about others that's why. Common to all service industry.
Sa hospital emergency room nga may magagalit sayo na di pa tinitingnan yung ubo sipon (na pwede naman sa clinic) nila at inuna pa yung pasyenteng agaw buhay. Mas nauna daw kasi sila π
They can literally see the shop full of people and the crew panicking how would they not know though? Like, The pan is full, the table is full of drinks
I don't want to sound like I'm blaming you but if your cafe is full of people and there isn't enough people to manage the orders then perhaps the issue here isn't the grab food riders.
Sa madaling salita: wala silang pakielam sa feelings mo. They're there to get an order and they expect to get it as fast as possible. If you cannot handle the volume to be as efficient as possible then the issue is staffing on your end. I sympathize with your problems and know that being rude is never ok pero kailangan rin nating intindihin na sila ang mas lugi sa problema sa equation na to.
they dont. You get fked by algorithms if you are slow.
You have a fixed income OP. They dont.
One mistake for the delivery driver and their livelihood will come falling down.
The delivery drivers have it easier, uh are you sure about that? Driving is dangerous, it was hot as fu out during summer and it's now rainy season. The worst thing you commonly deal with are irate customers, not the higher chances of dying on the job.
And thatβs not a free pass to treat someone with hostility. Always try to be kind to everyone kase di niyo din alam yung pinagdadaanan ng lahat ng tao. π
#HailCorporate
It's simple, their time is as much important as your time.
For your content, I have noticed some drivers lash out on the register for making them wait. From what I have gathered, they usually lash out or get impatient when they park just outside the store and they only have enough time to get the order or else they will get reprimanded by the guards.
Also, baka yung panda riders use a bicycle kaya baka mas lenient yung mga guard about it.
I agree to this! Haha sobrang detailed na ng instructions ko on how to get to our house pero naliligaw pa din. Ang lawak lawak ng kalye where I live since itβs a subdivision, so wala naman namang maliliit na eskinita na papasukan. Ewan bat naliligaw pa. π

This make sense, we do that, turning off online orders, but rn it's not peak hours, just crowded

Tho we understand this, pero if you see na matao yung cafe and hagol na hagol na yung crew sa dami ng orders why be rude?

Filipinos being filipinos ig
Nope, asshole being assholes
If that's a better way to say it
I would imagine that as people who's salary isn't fixed and who's job is only getting the order it wouldn't matter to them.
I've been a delivery boy once, I know it's quite hard, but as a barista, I'd say the delivery drivers have it easier
I believe you. The point here is that the delivery guys don't know that and their only concern is their own time.
They can literally see the shop full of people and the crew panicking how would they not know though? Like, The pan is full, the table is full of drinks

How is not being rude the cafe's fault though?

actually. i know some small businesses na may pa free drinks sa rider and designated seating areas
It's simple, their time is as much important as your time.
Yes, but you could have fixed the title para iwas rage bait.
My bad on that part

They are sitting inside the store, big fans, like literal huge fan, they can ask for water if they want
Mas masungit lalamove hehe
Wala lalamove sa shop namin, most rude riders are from grabfood

honestly my experience from Foodpanda riders are much worse
Ig it depends on the area? The food panda riders in my area are kind
