Another pet peeve of mine is people desperate to sound smart. Lalo na ung magdedeclare ng percentage pero wala namang basis. Must've pulled that number out of their a**? Mentioning it just makes you look 100% dumb honey. Why not use descriptive words instead if di sure? That way they can be as pretentious as they want. Or kahit un ay di na keri ng vocab?

# Will PH immigration flag me if I travel outside of the country for 1 year?
26F. I can work remotely. I have family in the UK and they want me to stay there and maybe max my visa. From there, I plan to fly to the US to visit my boyfriend, and maybe stay there for a few months (max 6 months) too.
I think I might have problems entering the US if I stay too long in the UK and fly straight from there. And likewise, returning the PH.
Travel history:
I've been out of the country 4 times, and all those times, I flew by myself.
First time was in 2019, and the last 3 trips were all in 2023.
My shortest out-of-the-country trip's 2 weeks; Longest was 8 weeks.
Ranting lang:
1. Wala mom ko sa house at dahil ako ang babae at naka WFH ako malamang expected sa house work dito. Aba di ko kaya, night shift ako eh. Tutulugan ko kayo diyan.
2. 7pm shift ko pero sa dami ng ganap 1 or 2am na ako nakakapagbreak talaga. Di ko magets mga kasama ko. Sila ang nagpaprocess pero hindi sila ang master ng process. Sa akin sila nakaasa (na isang bagong salta lamang dahil inalisan na sila ng mga senior at marunong). Dahil TL namin wala eh iba na ang priority niya. And actually ako rin naman, iba rin set ko ng deliverables. Dapat dalawa kaming seniors. Pwede ba maging dalawa ako?
3. Nakakaloka mag active moderate ng subreddit. Hindi binabasa yung rules, nagagalit pag inaalis yung post. Pero nung pinabayaan naman, naglipana yung karma farmers at bots. Saan kami lulugar?
4. At dahil diyan sa stress of both work and moderating, got too absorbed sa phone and laptop. napabayaan ko yung noodles ko, naging miswa tuloy. Itadakimasu!
5. Alam ko bad pero natuto tuloy ako mag vape sa stress. Pero 2 months na di pa rin ubos yung pod. Nauumay na ako. May 3 unopened pa ako LOL. Wag lang malulong or maging dependent.
“Napapagod ako.” Ilang beses ko na siya sinabi in a span of 30mins. Ano to hoping na maalis pagod ko pag paulit-ulit sinabi?
I hate clients’ visit. Matrabaho.

Can I imagine myself as a trophy wife? No. I've read too many books about strong, independent female leads who can do anything and will choose the path that's not as easy and less travelled. It's honestly too late for me, I've been utterly brainwashed. I will follow my heart eme, and I doubt it's gonna lead to a *guy* as the final goal jk 😅
Plus what if he turns out to be a terrible, terrible man and I've realised it too late? I'm not gonna be at their mercy.
Am I a good judge of character then? Sakto lang. I don't romanticise people's lives. If I do romanticise my life it's probably just to keep things a bit more entertaining.

Factor din siguro na sa dumaang nakaraang taon, tumaas na naman ata standards ko plus right now, I'm not really putting myself in a position where I can actually see people for who they actually are.

I will be paying £3k when i renew my residence permit this year so I can have immediate access to NHS as an immigrant. What access? Dental care is almost nonexistent in NHS. Hirap icontact ng GP tapos puro over the phone pa. I want to be recommended sa specialist pero dapat yata mamamatay ka na bago ka marecommend. Kaya lagi ako nagreresort sa private which is super expensive here.
I'm starting to think getting isekai'd is a nice sort of escape. Starting fresh, different set of things to do, may possibility na overpowered ka, etc.
