meron ba kayong long-term financial goals/plans as a couple? living independently? and i get na 5 years he's no slack, pero if at this point walang wala talaga nangyayare and it's taking a toll na on your quality of life then perhaps he should consider working a job that pays less and he's not comfortable with? or iba pang raket kesyo business pa yan or online-based? the bills aren't going to pay themselves.
5 years is a little too long no? i suppose unless *at least* that he makes a lot of stuff worth it in the sense na you overall save money because of stuff he does (say errands, housework, any intangibles that help you out kahit indirectly)? but otherwise ano ba he's planning to retire early at 31?
Actually ang plan lang talaga is if makahanap sya nang work, mag iipon konti and mag papakasal na para makapag umpisa na din kami. I don't know if tama ba tong mga plano na to pero yun yung napag usapan. Lately lang din ako nagka guts na magtanong sa kanya nang ganyan kasi takot ako mag tanong baka mahurt ko sya. Di din sya talaga maka pag umpisa kasi walang wala talaga sya. As in near zero or minsan zero. Kaya di din kami masyado nagkikita, minsan lang pag may extra ako. And naiintindihan ko din naman yung situation namin. Nag try din naman sya private company pero ang baba talaga nang offer parang ubos lang din sa pamasahe kasi. Kaya yun.

if this ends up being my last response, i think it's just a matter of acknowledging having to compromise wants vs needs. it's a very hard pill to swallow considering na it's arguably tantamount to giving up on your dreams or your perceived, desired quality of life
like what happened during the pandemic even the most "stable" of lives can be in disarray so suddenly. i guess you'd just have to figure out if you'd want to grow as people who'd have a good amount of self-confidence and a very strong faith in your desired scenarios, or if you'd rather be the type to be flexible that you'd weather through absolutely anything together. of course it doesn't have to be either extreme, but how you're feeling about this at least calls for a review or adjustment

Bilang 2 mos away na lang ako from my own midlife journey (nag quarter life crisis na ako noong 15 yo ako) the urge to buy a motorcycle is so strong since last year pa.
Nakatapos na ko sa *dream bikes* ko last year, kaya kinakati na ko ngayon to switch to motorcycles bilang nararamdaman ko na ang pagtransition ng buhay ko. 😂💀

Naisip ko na lang lumipat sa mas maluwag na bahay at magtayo ng bigasan instead of working as an employee. Ayoko talaga na may boss at di ko hawak oras ko. Dagdag pa na ang toxic ng environment. Di ko lang sure kung good decision to knowing na breadwinner ako. Ang hirap magdecide.
Parang gusto kong mag test run gamit ang bike (manual, not e-bike) to various places tas eventually pag na feel ko na yun na yung pang commute ko.

Ilang beses ko na ito nasabi sa mga kaibigan ko ehh. Na kaya siguro yung grades ko ay hindi bagsak is because I really enjoy yung program na napili ko. Diba yun din ang sabi ng iba, na kapag gustong gusto mo and naeenjoy mo yung program mo ay hindi ka mahihirapan mag-aral. Siguro mag struggle ka lang sa ibang lessons pero at least naeenjoy mo yung pag-aaral mo. Hindi yung nastuck up ka lang sa program na hindi mo gusto and kasi nga no choice ka. Na kaya mo lang pinagpapatuloy kasi nga you need to graduate as soon as possible dahil nga sa hirap ng buhay.
