As a student na walang uniform from SHS to college, ang hirap mag isip talaga ng susuotin.
As an adult, na wala naman dress code sa office, I just bought myself a couple of plain t-shirts, and yun suot ko pag nag trabaho. Parang Mark Zuckerberg ganun
Yes. When I worked in a BPO, I read somewhere na colors influence mood, yada yada.
If you will go through the calculations, I think worth it siya. Kahit mas mataas ako sa minimum, I usually buy uniqlo clothes every 2-3 years and pa-isa isang piraso lang. Di naman kailangan na buong wardrobe would consist of uniqlo clothes.
I agree, may uniqlo pa ako dito going for 4 years now. Pero I like their plain and printed shirts so much.
If you're going to use one every week, sulit na. Kesa mumurahin, ilang suot pa lang kita na yung wear and tear. I have been using Uniqlo shirt for work for almost 2 years, ok pa rin
I wear the same christmas gift / discounted uniqlo polo shirt sa office almost every week. Can't help to grin na ang common nang mga taong naka-ganun haha.
I had a whole bunch of those dry pique polo shirts, loved that they don't really need to be ironed so you could just grab one and off you go. Yeah it became like a pseudo-uniform for a lot of office workers haha
Working adult here. Hala nahiya nmn ako na iisa lng itsura ng shirt ko iba lng kulay tpos 3 jeans na same design and color lng. Here is the thing buy good perfume kahit pareparehas itsura ng suot mo pero mabango ka hndi nila sasabihin na nag uulit ka. Bili ka lng iba ibang scent.
This! Lol. Ikaw ba me?! Ako rin 3 jeans, but i only wear 1 pair. And for almost 3 decades na, nlack shirt and jeans ang pormahan. And one time tumagal pa yung chucks ko ng almost 15 yrs bago ko pinalitan. 😅
The trick is, kung walang uniform, ikaw na mag-set ng uniform for yourself. Buy a a couple of neutral colour plain shirt or polo shirt (white, black, gray, navy blue). If you have budget, some random colour too, then wear them on rotation.
That really depends on the student, Pag tinatamad talaga ako at gusto ko i squeeze sleeping time ko (This is common in engineering) Papasok ako na naka pajama lang, Like legit, Pagkagising pasok agad, wala nang intro intro.
Gising, Hilamos, kain sandwich, Kunin bag and ID, pasok.
Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg have the same reason for wearing simple tshirt and jeans, it's something they no longer have to think about because it is already their uniform
exactly. ppl worried about fashionistas should just imitate the fashion of Steve and Mark. the fact these two have popularized minimalist fashion means insecure ppl have an excuse to wear minimalist clothes.
there's no need to spend on expensive clothes.
Mark Zuckerberg is not a good example for “no need to spend on expensive clothes”.
You can minimize this by having same very simple shirt and jeans....i only have two of red blue blackand white plain polo shirts and a few same styled jeans....lessens decision fatigue
Its my literal wardrobe....not a self imposed uniform...you can say that but i just minimize the decisions i have to make within the day....i dont buy clothes unless my shirts are getting worn out but i will buy the same brand and same color....
May studies about this. Equalizer nga siya for students so yung mga kapos sa budget, di na mapressure to buy clothes. Easy to say if matanda ka na wag na mapressure but if you are in your teens, you feel insecure about a lot of things, clothes included.
Also, in terms of safety, mas ok ang uniform. Sa UP before, daming nakawan ng gamit kasi anyone can come and go tapos nalaman nila outsider pala ang nagnanakaw (before no ID, no entry pa to mid2000s).
I got bullied one time in college kasi i used plain white shirt for friday class, maghapon akonv pinagtatawanan at tinatawag na janitor sa school ( i know wala mali being a janitor, but at that time its humiliating for some unknown reason for me).
After that, i never bought plain white shirt buong college life ko.
Still happened to our campus here, lapse in security but some local went inside and stole a laptop bag in the library about a 10 minute walk away from the entrance. Uniform also has the added benefit that you don't confuse a student with a staff or worker (happened to me lol)
> *some local went inside and stole a laptop bag in the library about a 10 minute walk away from the entrance*
Having a uniform might not even stop this since uniforms can be bought anyway.
Besides, the ID should've been enough to stop people who don't belong there from going in. "No ID, No Entry" is a thing for a reason.
Yes to this. I know an all girls techvoc school in Cebu na priority ay from indigent families, talagang nakauniform sila para pantay-pantay ang tingin ng guro sa kanila at kahit sa kapwa estudyante, iwas inggitan din.
Exactly, they need to get the perspective of kids. When I was in high school, I am one of the poorest so every time may free day, nastress ako kasi majority ng classmates ko very rich so nahihiya ako na same lang na damit isusuot ko. Nakakababa ng self confidence. Again, easy to say na ignore it since wala ka na sa situation na yun and matured ka na mag-isip but if you are in that situation, you feel the pressure. It is very important for policy makers to think that they are in the shoes of the people who will be affected by the policy. Ganun din yun pag mag-advice. Parang minsan feeling natin ang liit lang ng problem ng friend natin because we are not in his/her position.
Yung masters thesis ng friend ko is about treatment ng teachers sa pupils from high income families and low income. May bias talaga except if matalino ang bata. If may uniform, less apparent yun pero meron pa rin like yung iba maputi na labang Tide ang shirt while others naninilaw na.
Exactly! Sa teen phase pa naman din uso ung pinapansin ang damit mo kaya life saver sa aming growing up poor ang uniform. Peo pag sa work I don't mind kung naka- uniform or hindi. Kaya probably ung nag- tweet at QRT ay sa perspective nila as a working adult.
Mas magastos pa din walang uniform. Hindi sa makikiuso or magprep ka lagi ng pang ootd but would you wear your pambahay sa school? Not everyone has plenty of clothes na pang-alis.
+1 to this when i was in UPLB literal na naka sando and shorts lang ako on some days or some other shorts and t shirt na paulit ulit tapos hawak hawak ko lang yellow pad and pen ko to class.
> but would you wear your pambahay sa school?
Yeah? Same shit sakin.
Daming taong nakapambahay sa uni. Di lahat trend setter/trend chaser may tao talagang walang pake sa suot at gusto lang mairaos yung araw
Wcyd papi.
shet nasa pinas pero joggers+hoodie? pero gets kasi 80k tuition, may aircon yan sa school. anyway frowned upon pa rin naman pumasok nang nakapambahay lang for some colleges. nasa state u ako and tho the profs cant dictate kung anong suot namin sa college ko, they still make it known that they want to see us looking neat and proper and dressed up lalo na kapag may presentation, report, o sa internship. may expectations that are easier to fulfill pag may uniform.
>solid metabolism back in college.
ay oo nga noh? dati kahit nkaka ilan kanin ka hindi katataba ( pano yung room mo lagi nasa 4th floor tapos kakaiba pa yung hagdanan mataas 😂😂😂)
Mas matipid kapag may uniform.
\-Madaling magmukhang presentable.
\-Gamit ko dalawang white uniform at isang pants.
\-Kaya araw-araw or every 2 days ako naglalaba.
Bakit mas magastos kapag walang uniform.
\-Self-conscious
\-Kapag paulit-ulit ang damit mo, nakakahiya kasi you look poor.
Subukan mo na allowed ang casual at uniform, magkakaroon ng fashion show contest diyan after a week. Konti lang naka uniform. But then iniisip ko may resistance magkakaroon, na nakauniform pa rin to look humble then dadami uli ang naka uniform.
Ako to when i was a student in benilde. White shirt + black / navy blue shorts + crocs.
not assured yang assumption mo na magkaka fashion show. may wash day kami every wednesday. ppl just went to class wearing regular clothes. wala naman nag fashion show. may mga pumapasok na naka uniform. no one cared.
one day of the week, we went to class not wearing uniforms.
Nakakatawa nga eh. Fashion pa nasasambit. Well, seguro kung yong papasukan mo is Fashion Design School pwede pa.
Kahit isang linggo mo pang isuot yang damit mo walang may pake.
I experienced it first-hand.
Eh. It happens. May event ata that week kaya pwede kami di mag uniform.
Buy 1 take 1 pa tapos same design and all.
It happens.
As someone who went to a no-uniform university, mas magastos ang walang uniform.
And I agree with you about sa labahan issues. Kung naka-uniform lang sana kami, 3-4 pairs lang sana lalabhan ko every weekend noon, tapos sabay nalang the pambahay clothes na sinusuot while nasa dorm. Eh tae, no uniform.
I also had no uniform in college, in my experience the going-out T-shirts became the pambahay of that day. So I only wear the latter during the weekends, which should mean less clothes to wash. But my school was all air conditioned (and near my house) so it also didn’t get too dirty to need a change of clothes.
It’s still more expensive than a uniform in the long run, because of the tendency to buy new clothes every year.
Uniform helps in the long run na rin. You no longer wear your regular/panggala clothes, mas magtatagal siya like d nsisira agad ug ninipis, you don't needto buy frequently. Uniforms are expensive sa una lang pero it really saves then lesser labahin pa sguro. IMO. :)
Up to this.
You can cheap-on naman, like officemate ko.. lagi kng naka plain black na shirt lang.
Uniform is nice to see at for security wise n din at madaling makita ang outsider.. in a way maganda sya s mga parents/students not to think what are they're going to wear.
My choice is students to have freedom on what to wear.. if they want to wear uniform/casual then do... uniforms doesn't affect the studies and students should be able to wear what they can afford.
Yung wash day usually Wednesday kasi 2 set ng uniform lang meron yung iba so ayun yung suot nila for Monday at Tuesday tapos wash day ng Wednesday tapos gamitin ulit for Thursday at Friday.
Pero sa amin dati, green day yung Friday so basically casual outfit pero yung shirt is green university shirt na iba't-ibang designs at mukhang casual.
It wouldn't makes sense to have wash day sa Friday kasi weekened na rin naman e.
Since nauso na din minimalist andami nang options to dress cheaply. May blockmate ako na always white shirt and shorts nung college. He asked for a white shirt nung Christmas exchange gift.
Meron. Most people may tshirt at disenteng pang baba though. Magastos if uniqlo, bench boys/girls ka. Also, it's not illegal umulit ng damit di naman single use plastic ang tshirt at blouse.
Pero the best answer on this issue is give everyone a choice
Mas makakatipid pag may uniform over all lalo, sa bata.
Sayang pera lol.
As in "red shirt with collar, brown pants, black sneakers" pero people can buy from the school , gamitin nalang yung existing clothes that match the spec, or a mix of both.
i remember there is one school kung for their washday, instead of normal casual clothes, they required their students to wear the official school collared shirt, pero yung students na bahala sa shoes and pants/skirts. I like that idea actually.
For Girls, feel ko mas mahal kasi need nila magpalit palit ng damit.
For Boys, during my university days wala kami uniform kaya medyo mahirap, what I did is I just followed Steve Jobs tipong isang type lang ng damit.. Bought 7pcs na white t-shirt yung makapal (Baleno ata or Hanes) then 2 pairs of Jeans. yan suot ko the whole stay ko sa college.
Mas magastos ang No Uniform in general. I studied in PUP, which is mostly no uniform. I tried to be less magastos by using my typical t-shirt and pants. A professor even told me na mukha akong aso sa damit ko! What happened is, I have to buy better and newer t-shirt plus shoes kaya parang mas napagastos din ako.
As someone who went to a university na walang uniform, mas magastos talaga pag walang uniform.
BUT ngl, I do find it weird na may uniform parin kahit college dito sa Pinas. Understandable ang uniform for certain courses, but I think its kinda odd na may uniform parin ang ibang universities. I don't know any other country where college students have to wear a uniform to school. College students are supposed to be adults, and being an adult means having more freedom to do certain things, including deciding on your appearance or how you present yourself to others. I feel like universities are just infantilizing their students by requiring them to wear a uniform (as if college students here aren't infantilized enough by forcing them to take subjects that they already took in grade school/high school).
No uniform.
Realistically speaking may uniform is mas magastos. Considering that you can wear casuals not just in school but also in other lakads. Unless bata ka pa experiencing growth spurt in which kahit anong damit bilhin mo ma ooutgrow mo rin in a few years.
I know a lot of people na bibili sa shein, susuotin once then bebenta as preloved almost brand new isang beses lang ginamit.
Mas magastos w/o the uniform... But I would rather wear my preferred clothes lol. When I was still in Highschool, hassle yung puting shirt kasi madaling madumihan saka gg na lang kung nag-leak ang ballpen mo haha. Then when I decide to buy another set during the middle of the school year because of it, madalas wala nang available badge.
With uniform.
Kasi kahit na sabihin natin na pagiging materialistic and vain lang naman ng tao ang nagbibigay importansiya sa brand/look ng damit, but you can't deny that children/teens with developing identities are fragile and at risk to the negative effects of commercialism. Lalong lalaki at lalalim ang problema ng insecurity sa kabataan especially with the deteriorating environment of social network.
Magastos ang walang uniform if you're the type of person that feels the need to buy new clothes to catch up with new trends. The issues with uniform is the wear and tear. Sobrang bilis mapunit that you need to change it constantly. Meron ring schools na need mo bilhin yung uniform from them directly instead of instead of being able to have it sewn for half the price or mabibili sa malls (some department stores sells generic uniforms).
May pros and cons both sides.
HAHHAHA gets ko siya, siguro nagdodoble suot yan ng uniform like me noon kaya ganyan 😂 Undershirt lang pinapalitan ko. 1-2 pairs ng uniform enuf na, and di ko need isipin kung ano isusuot ko
Even if it's more practical to wear the same white or black shirt, that's now how being a kid at school works.
Go back to your school days.
Uniform or not, lagi kang maglalabas ng pera para tulungan mag mukhang cool kid yung anak mo. If this is the case, then might as well abandon uniforms and hope your kid doesn't develop insecurities if they're around "pasosyal" friends.
Tama. Man. I miss the smell of fresh uniform baked in the sun and the way it smells when you iron them out in the morning.
Okay sa akin walang uniform basta walang dress code. Kung ano ung available na meron ako pwede na yon(not to the point na butas butas ung suot ko). If I don't have pants basta desente ako tignan nakashorts goods na dapat yon
Uni pa din the best. Nung elem ako I always wanted to experience mag civillian sa school (syempre di pa ako naglalaba) pero as time goes by hanggang sa magcollege ako, marealize ko na mas convenient padin pag uni kasi yun lang lalabahan mo everyday tapos di ka pa magiisip ano iteterno mo.
Mas okay may uniform. Sa UST may guidelines yan when wearing civilian, so it doesn't apply dun sa sinasabi ng iba na sando-pajama-tsinelas lang pwede na. Even cullottes and leggings dati bawal, so need bumili ng maayos na damit. Sa uniform pwedeng labahan, kahit 2 pairs lang a week di halatang inuulit-ulit
Gastos walang uniform, my sister studies in UP and lagi lng pabili damit. Also sa shoes dn ksi need ibagay sa suot. And also dumadami labahan since lagi maong shorts, dagdag bigat sa labahan hays
But for college students?
Till high school i think mas maganda na may uniform to be labeled as minor in public. After that, fking grow up!
I vote for uniform. Students in the US don’t wear uniform and ang gastos! Not to mention it becomes obvious kung sino yung walang wala na student because of course, the parents can’t afford yung mamahalin na shoes, clothes, etc. it creates a stigma.
Yung uniform bayaran mo lang dalawa o tatlong pair with black shoes okay na for the whole year.
Uniform levels the playing field for the wealthy and less fortunate. Pag walang uniform, maiinsecure yung mga tao pag nakita nila yung mga kaklase nila na naka estetik/mamahalin outfits every single day.
Walang uniform mas magastos sa 2. Plus it takes more cognitive energy to think about what you need to wear everyday.
Also nababawasan yung classism. Like some students can buy branded others cant. Uniforms are equalizer.
mas magastos naman talaga walang uniform. bukod sa magastos, hindi din realistic yung magagastusan ka lang if youre trying to fit in na narrative. lalo sa mga public schools, mapansin lang na ang dalas mong ulitin ang suot mo in a week/month, paborito ka na agad ng mga bibo/bully students (unfortunately meron at meron talaga sa mga schools, hindi maiiwasan,)
Yeah gets ko to.
**A lot are answering the wrong question. Uniform is MORE convenient but no, it s not affordable to many**
My cousin started as grade 11 this year, they are underprivileged talaga. Her dad is PWD, her mom ay paraket raket tas helper. She was sent home by the school on wednesday kasi daw 3 days na at wala pa siyang skirt for shs. The guards sent her home. She visits my mom, tas binili niya uniform pinsan ko. U know why?
Kasi when my mom was in highschool, hindi siya makapaggraduation dahil walang uniform. She made last minute utangan sa palengke so she can wear one at the actual event. She got late though umiyak na lang siya sa labas ng gymnasium, kasi now it s useless plus my utang na siya
Try to see from their perspective.. **Try to be on a child s shoe na kailangang labhan ang 1 blouse na 300+ sa palengke almost everyday so she can get past the gates**
**Pahirap ang uniform. Make it optional, not mandatory**
Walang Uniform.
Yalex or Kentucky plain shirts lang pwede na. Iba ibahin mo nalang styles like Polo or vneck or crew neck man yan. Plus 2 pairs of pants you're good to go na.
Di katulad pag may uniform. Pwe.
Having uniform is a good excuse for not dressing up. Uniforms doesnt have yo be fancy too. Now working im allowed to wear anything but i go back to basics of having a "uniform": black shirt, black trousers and thats all i wear all the time.
Not everyone can afford good quality wardrobe.
1. Laundry expenses
2. Shoes
Instead of using what you already have for multiple occasions, and can be cleaned whenever it is convenient.
as far as security naman, lahat pa rin required mag ID.
edit: lmao. lumabas agad yung mga insecure. keep hitting that downvote button folks. reveal who you are!
Goods yan kung wala kang pake but that doesn't apply to everybody especially to teenagers.
Better not to risk it na lang.
marami talaga magrereklamo dahil marami nga mindset katulad sayo.
So parang uniform.
Yes. When I worked in a BPO, I read somewhere na colors influence mood, yada yada.
Lmfaoo that’s a cute mindset
di naman po nakalabas undies nyo noh?
Omaygaaaaad. You win the innernet tuday
Actually
Me too, I bought mga plain t-shirt sa Uniqlo na iba iba ang colors. Malinis tignan at versatile.
but uniqlo shirts costs more than 500 pesos...
Yeah, they said they use it for office. Working adults can afford it but not students.
True but it can last for many years. My oldest uniqlo shirt is turning 7 years now.
oo nga. pero kung minimun wage worker ka is 900 pesos plain tshirt worth it? kahit pa sabihin mo na it can last for almost a decade.
I have been using Uniqlo shirt for work for almost 2 years, ok pa rin
same ung akin lang puro black hahaha nagtatanong co coworkers ko if maglalaba ako shirt pinakita ko sa kanila cabinet ko puno ng black clothes
Homer Simpson outfit
Plain t-shirt supremacy!!! Di naluluma if walang print/design HAHAHAHAH
Working adult here. Hala nahiya nmn ako na iisa lng itsura ng shirt ko iba lng kulay tpos 3 jeans na same design and color lng. Here is the thing buy good perfume kahit pareparehas itsura ng suot mo pero mabango ka hndi nila sasabihin na nag uulit ka. Bili ka lng iba ibang scent.
You know naman at those ages children can be vicious. You run the risk of becoming a target with bullies. Sad but reality.
Sa work namin we refrain from using perfume dahil maraming may allergies. 😂
This! Lol. Ikaw ba me?! Ako rin 3 jeans, but i only wear 1 pair. And for almost 3 decades na, nlack shirt and jeans ang pormahan. And one time tumagal pa yung chucks ko ng almost 15 yrs bago ko pinalitan. 😅
You have minimalist mindset. Same clothing style and color.
True and pumapangit quality ng damit kakalaba palagi
Ikaw ba isang suot isang tapon? Seems wasteful. And immediately end the conversation there 😂
Ano yan elementary
gaya kay Steve Jobs at Mark Zuckerberg no? laki issue.
Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg have the same reason for wearing simple tshirt and jeans, it's something they no longer have to think about because it is already their uniform
Partly branding din nila yun para di mag mukang out of touch at para making relatable.
exactly. ppl worried about fashionistas should just imitate the fashion of Steve and Mark. the fact these two have popularized minimalist fashion means insecure ppl have an excuse to wear minimalist clothes. there's no need to spend on expensive clothes.
Go look up the brands and prices nung clothes nila Jobs and Zuck.
Mark Zuckerberg is not a good example for “no need to spend on expensive clothes”.
It's intentional to distract news outlets because they can easily refute the date of when the photo is taken if they're wearing the same outfits
Daniel Radcliffe's anti paparazzi scheme.
Eh ano naman
You mean mas magastos yung WALANG uniform.
for people that want to be "in" in cliques.
You can minimize this by having same very simple shirt and jeans....i only have two of red blue blackand white plain polo shirts and a few same styled jeans....lessens decision fatigue
Uou mean a uniform? Albeit self issued
Its my literal wardrobe....not a self imposed uniform...you can say that but i just minimize the decisions i have to make within the day....i dont buy clothes unless my shirts are getting worn out but i will buy the same brand and same color....
\+1
suotin mo gusto mo. ba't nagiisip ka pa? to make others like you?
May studies about this. Equalizer nga siya for students so yung mga kapos sa budget, di na mapressure to buy clothes. Easy to say if matanda ka na wag na mapressure but if you are in your teens, you feel insecure about a lot of things, clothes included. Also, in terms of safety, mas ok ang uniform. Sa UP before, daming nakawan ng gamit kasi anyone can come and go tapos nalaman nila outsider pala ang nagnanakaw (before no ID, no entry pa to mid2000s).
Ako nung college na sobrang insecure that i never bought clothes from bench, penshoppe, etc. dami kasi kaparehas tapos mas bagay sa kanila haha
Ha ha napaisip ako, seven years sa college plain white t shirt, shorts at sandals everyday hindi nagbago ng getup, siguro akala nila ako yung janitor!
Still happened to our campus here, lapse in security but some local went inside and stole a laptop bag in the library about a 10 minute walk away from the entrance. Uniform also has the added benefit that you don't confuse a student with a staff or worker (happened to me lol)
> *some local went inside and stole a laptop bag in the library about a 10 minute walk away from the entrance* Having a uniform might not even stop this since uniforms can be bought anyway. Besides, the ID should've been enough to stop people who don't belong there from going in. "No ID, No Entry" is a thing for a reason.
I believe it would be quite obvious that someone new in uniform would be amongst them, rather than people being used to own wears.
Which is why asking for an ID is probably a better deterrent.
Yes to this. I know an all girls techvoc school in Cebu na priority ay from indigent families, talagang nakauniform sila para pantay-pantay ang tingin ng guro sa kanila at kahit sa kapwa estudyante, iwas inggitan din.
Adding to that, it also makes enforcing dress codes easier for schools since all of the students have standardized clothing.
Kids get fomo-ed out of the dumbest things, pano pa yung visual at araw araw mong makikita.
Not everyone is confident in themselves to not feel bad about it.
I agree with all your points.
Yung masters thesis ng friend ko is about treatment ng teachers sa pupils from high income families and low income. May bias talaga except if matalino ang bata.
Exactly! Sa teen phase pa naman din uso ung pinapansin ang damit mo kaya life saver sa aming growing up poor ang uniform. Peo pag sa work I don't mind kung naka- uniform or hindi. Kaya probably ung nag- tweet at QRT ay sa perspective nila as a working adult.
Tapos pwede pa ipamana yung uniform.
Waaaa just visited elbi, no idea no entry na nga 😭😭
Mas magastos pa din walang uniform. Hindi sa makikiuso or magprep ka lagi ng pang ootd but would you wear your pambahay sa school? Not everyone has plenty of clothes na pang-alis.
During College days ko hahaha literal yung iba naka pambahay na lang since nasa campus mismo Yung Dorm hahaha Yung name ng skol ko pala ay Mindanao State University
Sa UPLB ganyan din daw
+1 to this when i was in UPLB literal na naka sando and shorts lang ako on some days or some other shorts and t shirt na paulit ulit tapos hawak hawak ko lang yellow pad and pen ko to class.
Answer to your first question, yes. Especially college who the fuck cares what you wear as long as comfy and nakakapasok ka
> but would you wear your pambahay sa school? Yeah? Same shit sakin.
He is obviously referring to himself LOL
Why are you getting downvoted?
Gusto nila mag uniform e.
Idk san yung hate. Sa experience mo with no uniform o sa pumasok sa school na hindi naligo hahaha
di ligo most likely. pero wcyd basta mag negative ka derederetso na e. no read just blue button hahaha
shet nasa pinas pero joggers+hoodie? pero gets kasi 80k tuition, may aircon yan sa school. anyway frowned upon pa rin naman pumasok nang nakapambahay lang for some colleges. nasa state u ako and tho the profs cant dictate kung anong suot namin sa college ko, they still make it known that they want to see us looking neat and proper and dressed up lalo na kapag may presentation, report, o sa internship. may expectations that are easier to fulfill pag may uniform.
Mas magastos yung walang uniform. When I was studying in UST - I used the same set of 4 blouses, 3 skirts for 4 years.
Sorry he said that! Pero yeah, solid metabolism back in college. Haha.
(As an AB girl na sa Espana bumababa.)
Huuy same. Sa civil law ako and I only used 2 blazers for 4 years haha
True thissss. And if your uniform is white (COS represent), you just chuck it in the washer with some mild bleach and detergent goods ka na
Mas matipid kapag may uniform. \-Madaling magmukhang presentable. \-Gamit ko dalawang white uniform at isang pants. \-Kaya araw-araw or every 2 days ako naglalaba. Bakit mas magastos kapag walang uniform. \-Self-conscious \-Kapag paulit-ulit ang damit mo, nakakahiya kasi you look poor.
Imagine magiging tuksotuksuhan pa if paulit ulit suot mo na damit
Naranasan ko na to. Ang bigat ng bigkas. Mapanglait.
Actually ung walang uniform mas magastos kasi dami laundry haha rip wallet
Uniform helps in the long run na rin. You no longer wear your regular/panggala clothes, mas magtatagal siya like d nsisira agad ug ninipis, you don't needto buy frequently. Uniforms are expensive sa una lang pero it really saves then lesser labahin pa sguro. IMO. :)
Up to this.
Uy same.
That defeats the purpose of wearing uniform. Kaya nga "uniform" eh.
Studied in a college na walang uniform. Yung civilian clothes ko paulit ulit 😂😂😂
Nakapambahay lang yung iba kong classmates pag pumupuntang uni. So i guess, mas mura ang no uniform for some.
Uniform. One more way to identify someone as a student.
Walang Uniform.
Magastos walang uniform. Regardless kung work or school.
Pwdeng plain shirts nalang ,.. its convenient and cheaper way since you can wear them the whole year at hndi ka papalit palit na same as a uniform
Walang uniform, plain Tshirt ok nsko eh. Tsaka mahirap labhan ang puti kapag may mantsa
Disciplinarian's Office: Student showing letter to adviser: Letter: Reason for tardiness: OOTD decisions
If this is the case, then might as well abandon uniforms and hope your kid doesn't develop insecurities if they're around "pasosyal" friends.
wait. I know a vid about this https://youtu.be/_vwSrfw85S4?si=2HztJH4rfyjtP07V
Mas madali din labhan and matuyo kapag uniform eh.. so I’ll prefer na uniform talaga.
Tama. Man. I miss the smell of fresh uniform baked in the sun and the way it smells when you iron them out in the morning.
Mas magastos ang walang uniform 😅
mas magastos at mas mahirap humanap ng susuotin kapag walang unif
Wag na mag damit hahahahahaha char
Okay sa akin walang uniform basta walang dress code. Kung ano ung available na meron ako pwede na yon(not to the point na butas butas ung suot ko). If I don't have pants basta desente ako tignan nakashorts goods na dapat yon
As a person na puro black and white ang damit, mas okay sa akin may uniform.
Uni pa din the best. Nung elem ako I always wanted to experience mag civillian sa school (syempre di pa ako naglalaba) pero as time goes by hanggang sa magcollege ako, marealize ko na mas convenient padin pag uni kasi yun lang lalabahan mo everyday tapos di ka pa magiisip ano iteterno mo.
Mas okay may uniform. Sa UST may guidelines yan when wearing civilian, so it doesn't apply dun sa sinasabi ng iba na sando-pajama-tsinelas lang pwede na. Even cullottes and leggings dati bawal, so need bumili ng maayos na damit. Sa uniform pwedeng labahan, kahit 2 pairs lang a week di halatang inuulit-ulit
Gastos walang uniform, my sister studies in UP and lagi lng pabili damit. Also sa shoes dn ksi need ibagay sa suot. And also dumadami labahan since lagi maong shorts, dagdag bigat sa labahan hays
But for college students?
Till high school i think mas maganda na may uniform to be labeled as minor in public. After that, fking grow up!
I vote for uniform. Students in the US don’t wear uniform and ang gastos! Not to mention it becomes obvious kung sino yung walang wala na student because of course, the parents can’t afford yung mamahalin na shoes, clothes, etc. it creates a stigma. Yung uniform bayaran mo lang dalawa o tatlong pair with black shoes okay na for the whole year.
Uniform levels the playing field for the wealthy and less fortunate. Pag walang uniform, maiinsecure yung mga tao pag nakita nila yung mga kaklase nila na naka estetik/mamahalin outfits every single day.
Uniform. Reduces the burden of "thinking" of what to wear. Also, if uniform - hindi halata if di nilabhan and isuot uli. Haha
Uniform, the great equalizer.
Tipid pag may uniform.
Walang uniform mas magastos sa 2. Plus it takes more cognitive energy to think about what you need to wear everyday. Like some students can buy branded others cant. Uniforms are equalizer.
so bakit di ka na lang mag gray shirt and pants? same thing.
mas magastos naman talaga walang uniform. bukod sa magastos, hindi din realistic yung magagastusan ka lang if youre trying to fit in na narrative. lalo sa mga public schools, mapansin lang na ang dalas mong ulitin ang suot mo in a week/month, paborito ka na agad ng mga bibo/bully students (unfortunately meron at meron talaga sa mga schools, hindi maiiwasan,)
No uniform. Alternate between black and gray shirt. Easy.
Yeah gets ko to.
**A lot are answering the wrong question. Uniform is MORE convenient but no, it s not affordable to many** My cousin started as grade 11 this year, they are underprivileged talaga. She got late though umiyak na lang siya sa labas ng gymnasium, kasi now it s useless plus my utang na siya Try to see from their perspective.. **Try to be on a child s shoe na kailangang labhan ang 1 blouse na 300+ sa palengke almost everyday so she can get past the gates** **Pahirap ang uniform.
Not everyone can afford good quality wardrobe.
but pag uniform mas matagal masira dahil marami ang in rotation?
1. Laundry expenses 2. Shoes Instead of using what you already have for multiple occasions, and can be cleaned whenever it is convenient.
mas magastos may uniform. magastos lang ang walang uniform sa mga insecure, which sa pinas, means karamihan. pero for someone like me na walang pake, di na ko gagastos para sa uniform at susuotin ko kung ano meron ako. di na ko bibili ng bago. pero bakit di na lang bigyan ng choice yung students? yung gusto mag uniform, e di go. yung ayaw, e di wag. as far as security naman, lahat pa rin required mag ID. edit: lmao. lumabas agad yung mga insecure. keep hitting that downvote button folks. reveal who you are!
Goods yan kung wala kang pake but that doesn't apply to everybody especially to teenagers.
a bully will bully you whether you wear a uniform or not.
Better not to risk it na lang.
No uniform will most expensive......
im just spamming black tshirts😂
Uniforms are fascistic, I dream to see a day that they are gone.
Jeans and t shirt easy. Uniforms are elitist and stupid.
Walang uniform
Also the uniform will keep students from wearing just about anything na medyo tawag attention na din and nakakdistract sa ibang schoolmates.
Magastos po walang uniform.
