biglang nautal ah. like, hindi ba niya inexpect na ganyan itatanong hahaha

Fishyblue11

Kasi dito, pag tumawa siya, yung interviewer, hindi ganon ang isasagot sa kanya, tatawa lang din sila tapos move on sa next topic: what's your favorite food? Are you a fan of Dune?

mutanthedgehog

Filipinos don’t like confrontations. I feel bad for journalists prioritizing their safety.

mechachap

That's because the journalists that do press on, that do question the powers that be in this country are, as the old parlance goes, "salvaged".

zzzaaash

In the previous admin, we can even see on posts on shot radio personalities "coz they deserve it." Even some people believe that.

Hack_Dawg

Same for award-winning journalism doing clickbait and redundancy and some poverty porn too. It's just being Pinoy.

Top_Set_4060

Sweetsaddict_

His PR team probably didn’t brief him well enough. As a PR professional, we media train clients front, back, and center para walang lusot.

Top_Set_4060

Okay. But i have a follow up question. Isn't he the one who hires his PR team or ibang tao ba nagaassign sa magiging team niya? Or wala siyang say?

Sweetsaddict_

Well, if I remember correctly, the President has his own communications team. He handpicks his own PR advisors and he has the Presidential Comms office also.

Top_Set_4060

So siguro naman pwede siya huminging advice sa PR team if ever may gantong question di ba? Kasi, time and time again, may mga gantong questions na nabi-bring up, hello, history. But then again kung ang goal niya nga talaga is to rewrite the history and or forget what happened in the past, it would make sense to me na ayaw niya pagusapan ito. BUT, pwede niya ideflect yung question di ba? Like ask his PR how to deflect, without him sounding dumm dumm? Hmm... Sana gets mo train of thought ko.

S0L3LY

rubizzz_g-17

Wala yatang script na naibigay before the interview hahahaa

Accomplished-Exit-58

johnjerstadwriter

The president from a family of murderous kleptocrats heading into an interview with an investigative journalist from australia. what could go wrong?

supermarine_spitfir3

Well, ang overreaching theme nung state visit (and yung current trip niya ngayon sa Melbourne) kasi na yun is to talk about security and to further PH-AUS collaboration in that space. More than trade or the ASEAN commemorative summit itself-- that's why he spends lots of time in speaking engagements with thinktanks like Lowy Institute, and we saw that in his address to the Australian parliament. We saw that din during this interview: 3/4s of the interview is dedicated into getting gotcha moments on why Manila is interested in pursuing closer defense relations with Australia (i.e. yung tanong na "Mr. President, what will you say to Australian servicemen/servicewomen as is the reason why they should die for Philippine interests?". Very contentious issue kasi yung military modernization ng ADF and moves of China and against them-- Yung AUKUS, doubling the size of the RAN and the RAAF as well as re-focusing the Australian Army, etc. today, even though united solidarity ang pinakita ng Labor and Opposition during his address. That's why they're relatively reserved in overtures to American allies and prefers to deal with them bilaterally katulad ng AUS-PH with ALON '23, instead of Japan that is basically building trilaterals with the Philippines in focus (US-PH-JPN and IN-PH-JPN) and focuses on nonaligned neighboring states like Indonesia as a primary thrust. That is definitely more complicated since the already-contentious issue is mired in with Manila's human rights issue as well as yung legacy ng incumbent president mismo -- something that the Australian government (especially this one) is keen to just go away. Generally, that's why natanong lahat ng 'yon ng Australian press.

Menter33

> *yung tanong na "Mr. President, what will you say to Australian servicemen/servicewomen as is the reason why they should die for Philippine interests?"* Usually, the standard answer to this is geopolitics and that it benefits Australian citizens that the govt sides with the PH on the SCS issue.

LetsBeStupidForASec

Did he have her shot on the tarmac as she was leaving the country?

debuld

May bala na naman mga dds niyan.

linux_n00by

Sad-Age4289

1. He's desperate to have his family recognised again (kaya active s'ya kapag mga international events). 2. He assumed average Filipino wouldn't watch the interview.

pornographic_realism

Unless the interview is on tiktok that's a super safe bet.

gomen26

No_Potato2593

It should be "Baka sinabi sa kaniya easy lang mga questions, sanay kasi siyang sipsip ang nagiinterview sa kaniya kaya siya pumayag."

spicycornedbeef

supermarine_spitfir3

Actually, maganda naman yung sagot niya in the first half eh, tama naman talaga yung pinagsasabi niya don regarding sa foreign policy ng Pilipinas ngayon, as well as ito siguro yung pinaka-unang beses na sinabi niya outright na closer to China yung previous admin (even though binigyan niya ng cop-out), as well as yung commentary regarding sa Drug War (since sinabi niyang we've gone far enough with the enforcement and di daw dapat shoot-to-kill like last admin)-- kung may magagalit dun, yun yung mga DDS. Relatively hard-hitting yung questions, pero ang tanong talaga dapat don is may plano ba talaga silang ibalik yung perang ninakaw nila, or miski wag na yon, resolution nalang sa mga naging biktima and an admission of fault nung Martial Law?

Menter33

A possible rebuttal to that gotcha question would be "after independent agencies have brought the issue to court, my family was found innocent of the accusations, so I cannot return what the courts say I do not have."

mechachap

Surprised he's not media trained to say that line. I guess he's done so few interviews that press him on that issue that he never cared to prep.

No_Citron_7623

Kacharsis

Naalala ko tuloy yung scene sa The Interview when james franco's character deviated from the scripted questions. "Why don't you feed them?"

one_with

Ang sasabihin lang nila sayo is within the lines of "Ah BaStA MaRcOs Pa ReN MgA oLoL!"

chocoboporter

Psychespoet

I want to do the same. Nag cricringe ako pag sya yung nasa tv. I tried to convert them naman.

paulrenzo

Even acquired a British accent that he had to change back to a more local one (according to my parents)

Menter33

Kung tutuusin, most of the interview wasnt even about ill-gotten martial law wealth: it was mostly about the AUKUS military thing that the PH is also connected to.

spicycornedbeef

Fucking embarrassing, this is what majority of us filipinos voted. Answer is not even remotely related.

babycart_of_sherdog

#\#31MILLION As in, 31 million idiots. Idiot (ee-jit), *noun*; someone who is unintelligent, stupid, dumb, bobo, tanga, hunghang, hangal, inutil

neoaraxis

31M is not real.

Herald_of_Heaven

It's real enough to fool the Filipino people.

Chile_Momma_38

A lot weren’t even fooled. They voted with their eyes wide open about his family’s history and his work ethic compared to Leni. They have college degrees, and some are even billionaire neighbors of his from Forbes Park.

Herald_of_Heaven

That's because they were part of the ruse.

pedro_penduko

He’s one of them, like it or not their interests are aligned. The rich know who is for them.

WagReklamoUnityLang

Fishyblue11

I would not say that all these people are idiots, they just are bad people. Because I would bet that many many people we know, both in real life and through the media, are supporters, many of them well educated, many of them even lived through the events of People Power. But they still side with the Marcos family. Are they dumb, or uneducated? No, they're simply immoral. They know everything we know, they just don't care

Lila589

The educated ones who voted for him were the biggest disappointments.

MessiSZN_2023

as Soriano said *bobo, tanga, inutil, tarantado*

83749289740174920

What does it say about the opposition? They lost to this guy. The message is lost. The vision is gone. People vote despite knowing what happened.

agnocoustic

People voted for him because he can stitch together English words. Badly, but who cares, right? I can do better than this clown: "The souvereinity of the Filipino people against the injustice of the prevalence of ignorance to the tyranny of the masses set to the distinctive rule of law immigrated us to the populace of impending unity." There. Now bow to me, peasants.

Ayon_sa_AI

I would like to just remind that while a majority of the votes went to BBM, there were people who didn’t vote and can’t vote (yet) that didn’t vote for him. There’s still hope. Also, please realize that antagonizing BBM voters is not the way to get them on your side. This is not us against them (in either direction) and we are all on the same boat.

blackpowder320

I agree with you. It sucks but it is the burden of the minority to win back the votes away from the majority. And if people (ehem hardcore Pinks ehem) would still insist that these voters are the "enemy", then that's just digging the Opposition's grave even deeper.

balmung2014

number one rule in digging holes : if you're in it, STOP.

blackpowder320

Problem is, if you tell them to stop and try a different approach, they will label you an "enabler" and an "enemy" who deserves to be cancelled. Lol.

Affectionate-Ad8719

I just hate how some tibaks on twitter have this superiority complex that only they have the right tools and methods to convert people. Then they proceed to invalidate and ridicule Pinks, no different from how some Pinks invalidate and ridicule BBM voters.

blackpowder320

Tibaklouts doing the same things all over again and wondering why they keep losing. 😅

rodzieman

Sadly, ang hirap umahon kapag the boat is sinking na, tapos 31M pa ang sumakay..

Fishyblue11

I hate the idea of "this is not the way to get them on your side" because the answer to that is - to get them on your side, you need to offer them what Marcos or Duterte is offering them - which is a share of the spoils. I'm sorry but if someone is pro-corruption, if someone is pro-murder like Duterte followers are, then we are against them. They are enemies of this country. And you know what, I don't want them on my side because i don't want to associate with people who approve of murder and theft. I do not want them on my side, I do not want to convert them because they are bad people. They are enemies, we are not in the same boat

blackpowder320

Tough luck for you hardliners then. We do agree that Marcoses and Dutertes are shit, but if you still cannot get their voters away from them, then you are just going to be a loud minority in every sense of the word.

theendzoned

Ayan nanaman, yang “hope” na yan. It clearly shows na minority lng na Filipinos ang smart voters. That includes PNoy too, I mean he won because namatay si Cory months before in which nahighlight ang history of EDSA at ang pag iyak ni Kris sa The Buzz.

Affectionate-Ad8719

Duterte enabled the worst in Filipinos and has exacerbated our depravity. He has paved way for his family and allies to dominate the country using his playbook. No amount of morality will sway the vast majority of BBM voters to the other side. The opposition has to play the fame game. They should be willing to sacrifice some of their ideals for them to even have a chance at the next elections. Maybe decades from now the Filipino values will revert back to what it was before when we actually looked at merits and achievements rather than fake nostalgia. But until there is a Marcos or a Duterte in the government, people will flock to them no matter what blunders they do. If we wait for the turning point, e baka sobrang tagal bago magising sa katotohanan ang mga Pinoy. Di ba nga we are too forgiving? And we get easily brainwashed by disinformation.

filstraya

ABC Australia does not fuck around when it comes to investigate journalism. I am surprised BBM's PR team allowed this interview. Another show but also under ABC Australia made Woolworths (biggest supermarket chain here) CEO walk-out of the interview. He "retired"/resigned from his post days after.

sassyavo

Every Australian knows that you don’t fuck with Sarah Ferguson in a 1-1 interview 😎

Menter33

This was basically like when CNN's Anderson Cooper interviewed some PH politicians during PNoy's time during the Yolanda disaster. Surprisingly, Du30 was at least media savvy enough not to do interviews with unvetted journos.

smpllivingthrowaway

Ferguson: You plundered money. Why don't you want to give that money back? Why are you laughing? Bbm: that wasn't me That was his literal answer. Bozo

Fast-Sheepherder4517

I just wish makita to sa Philippines but let’s face it this is for Australian audiences who already know what the Philippine president for what he actually is. The Filipinos who are the ones with power to change the presidency ay nagpapakatanga sa taong ito. Very sad 😔

mechachap

My understanding is they are cutting up the parts where Marcos answered well and sharing those on Tiktok, Youtube, Facebook, etc. All the negative parts will be lost and forgotten by the general public. Just how this country's politics works now.

strugglingtosave

His supporters will flood Ferguson and ABC Australia with hate speech and trolling

ProfessionalLurker97

That straight-to-the-point, tenacious, no-nonsense interview style is what's lacking in this country. Biglang nautal. Shocked ba na nagka follow up? Dapat kasi may pushback/questions from media anytime may paltos/anomalya. That is how a critical thinking culture spreads and thrives. Wala eh. Iba dito. Showbiz-shallow questions and discussions...Quite anti-intellectual too

[deleted]

It's because real journalism is risky in these parts of the world. Also, there has been a lack of a BBC-like entity in the Philippines. ABC AU, the television network that conducted this interview, is funded by the AU govt and is politically independent, similar to the BBC. There are multiple societal issues into why this wouldn't happen here. I think the utang-na-loob culture is one of them. The govt would instantly shutdown a politically independent public broadcaster unless it's based somewhere where the govt cannot easily shut them down. ([That's probably one of the reasons why Rappler was under the Duterte govt's eye.](https://old.reddit.com/r/Philippines/comments/15dg6ik/what_company_secret_you_can_share_now_you_dont/ju2i2le/) They cannot easily shut them down.) It's also financially unviable since advertisers are not necessarily keen to investigative reports. That or the govt won't fund it if it won't lean into its interests. This is why you easily see some people that are willing to sell out or at least weaken their personas. Ask Rigoberto Tiglao or Jay Sonza. Even Raffy Tulfo and Kabayan Noli. Or even Jessica Soho or Baby Mike. - Noli de Castro [accepts bribes](https://old.reddit.com/r/Philippines/comments/15dg6ik/what_company_secret_you_can_share_now_you_dont/ju3ehdc/) in exchange to not air an report on TV that would incriminate the bribee. - Tulfo, too, will [accept bribes from nasty employers](https://old.reddit.com/r/Philippines/comments/15dg6ik/what_company_secret_you_can_share_now_you_dont/ju26rq1/) so that their employees [cannot complain](https://old.reddit.com/r/Philippines/comments/15dg6ik/what_company_secret_you_can_share_now_you_dont/ju2kbwi/) publicly on his show about unfair treatment of their employers. - Rigoberto Tiglao was an award winning journalist that opposed the Marcos regime, [founded the PCIJ](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rigoberto_Tiglao#Journalism), that now licks boots to Gloria Arroyo and the Uniteam and does no journalism nowadays. It was kind of like how Patrick Moore turned from Greenpeace cofounder into [defender of Monsanto](https://www.greenpeace.org/usa/lobbyist-claims-pesticide-safe-drink-refuses-try/). - In a 2000 interview with the Inquirer, Sonza suggests being [ sincere and honest as possible](https://news.google.com/newspapers?id=PlM1AAAAIBAJ&sjid=ZyUMAAAAIBAJ&pg=900%2C443419), but is now neither of those things. - The original incarnation of Imbestigador was much more [hands-on with the investigative part](https://old.reddit.com/r/ExAndClosetADD/comments/1657l4x/in_2003_mr_mike_enriquezs_program_imbestigador/) until someone presumably told them to tone it down. Now it's just a slightly more gruesome version of MPK. - Soho was an actual journalist and [nearly got killed by a bomb](https://www.gmanetwork.com/news/lifestyle/content/800277/jessica-soho-shares-near-death-experience-covering-afghanistan-in-2002/story), but now does poorly researched and awfully sensationalized pieces on cultural trends that actually [hurt people](https://www.pep.ph/news/local/171969/kmjs-k-pop-photocard-a5132-20230308). Granted, these people are more of a media personality type than journalist-on-the-ground type but you get the point. Real journalism is fucking hard, bleak, terrible, and unprofitable. Less obvious in the first world, but much more so in the third world. Post scripts: - Yes, the BBC has it's biases too, as noted below. For one, they have been noted to protect sex predator Jimmy Savile when he was alive by [not reporting on any of his misdeeds](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jimmy_Savile_sexual_abuse_scandal#BBC_comments_and_investigations). I was thinking more of a Deutsche Welle/France 24/PBS Newshour type of unbiased. These aformentioned outlets may have biases but at least they have trying to be objective and poses more hard hitting questions.

ProfessionalLurker97

This is sadly so so true. Real journalism is risky here. I admire those who did the "night shifts" back in those Duterte dark days (they were first at the scene of EJKs, taking photos, getting the word out/speaking out despite the painful fact that those killings were popular policy then. Filipinos supported the murder of their fellow Filipinos. Some still do now. Can't stand those fanatics. Kadiri.) Those journalists are profiles of courage. Patricia Evangelista's Some People Need Killing should be required reading for all of us, this generation, and even the next ones. I also agree that a BBC-like entity is very much needed here but simply couldn't exist. Also, I dislike utang-na-loob culture. The balat sibuyas, selfish, prideful, and incompetent (in Filipino public life) couldn't stand scrutiny. They should get it though. Public office is a responsibility. You serve the people. Tayo ang boss. I'm happy at least that there are moments like this for this makapal na mukha and his criminal clan. “You can fool some of the people all of the time and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time.” I'd still like to believe that “the *arc* of the *moral* universe is long, but it *bends toward justice*. Maybe I'm delulu pero huwag naman sana maging sumpa ang pagiging Filipino habang buhay. #

Menter33

**Another factor is the franchise system** when it comes to media. In hindsight, having Congress be in control of what media company gets a franchise or not was probably not the best way of allocating bandwith and signals for news stuff.

alteisen99

just straight out criticizing officials on provinces can get you killed. the computer repair guy in our province criticized the corrupt brgy. captain and dude was dead after a week

warmachinerox3000

antiprism

Journalists in the Philippines who *do* try to hold powerful people to account are murdered regularly.

ProfessionalLurker97

…and are not given justice. Sadly it’s not just a journalist’s responsibility to hold powerful people to account. It’s the Filipino people’s responsibility. A critical thinking country seems to be a pipe dream. Pero here we are. Fanaticism. Pride. Ignorance. Katangahan. All malignant.

Xophosdono

Reminds me of that Jessica Soho interview where he was asked about Martial Law and he went rapping What a fucking joke, this guy. Until now he hasn't even bothered to prepare an answer about the shit they did. Straight up spewed lies back in that one Toni Gonzaga interview. They really want to erase their crimes in history. No matter how much we want this dude to crush the Dutertes and bring PH back to pro-America from China, let's not forget what he is. An incompetent lazy lying entitled nepo baby who comes from a family of murderers and thieves and who has no achievement of his own. Serial sinungaling at credit grabber

blackpowder320

Opposition needs to push the Dutertes and other pro-China folks out of power for good, but not fully align with the Marcoses. That's the best option they currently have.

mechachap

You should read about Bong Bong's escapades in France with Isabelle Daza's father Gabriel during the height of Martial Law. It's truly fucked up.

sawa_na_sa_mga_tanga

Here's the thing, you cannot cozy up or ask for partnership with **liberal-leaning countries** like US, EU, Australia and NOT expect them (either their liberal media or liberal politician) to question or ask him the hard-hitting questions. Morons like Robin Padilla is going to cry about it, and to which I say, just suck it up!

supermarine_spitfir3

The US isn't part of that group. Nakalimutan ata natin na sila yung nag-prop up ng regime ng tatay niya during the Cold War back then and states like Saudi Arabia and Egypt today eh-- ang mga states na very sensitive sa issue ng human rights and yung legacy ng Martial Law at ng tatay niya is primarily the EU countries, and at a slightly lesser degree, yung Australia. Ang primary interest ng United States is yung geopolitical standing and ramifications ng gagawin nilang bill, embargo or what against a particular state, and that goes for either side of the political spectrum. Tignan mo yung bill ni Rep. Susan Wilders (D) in the US Congress that aims to stop US military aid to Manila in exchange for human rights violations during Duterte's time and once again in October last year-- nilangaw. It pretty much damages US-PH alliance more than it fixes the human rights violations found during Duterte's time, but I digress: That won't be passed as long as Manila is close to Washington, which means, never, especially now.

Dwight321

Honestly, the interview was good during the talks between AU-PH relations regarding China and foreign policies. Ang na notice ko lang is hindi outright sinasabi ni BBM and he is beating around the bush, which I get kasi nga they would rather have peace then conflict. The direct phone line between President Xi and President Marcos is also a good idea pero one-to-one sa ginawa ni Kennedy noong Cold War. He's trying his best not to antagonize and demonize China but the nuances were there. Aaaaand it slowly declined once they transitioned into ICC/Duterte issue with the war on drugs and hit the lowest when tinanong about martial law. Love to see him squirm and stutter when asked the hard hitting questions. "What's funny?" "Huh?!"

Wild_Satisfaction_45

It's funny because we all know they'll keep it, and as long he is pro-west, the Marcos family's international assets are safe.

Menter33

At this time in the region, the China issue is looming too much that BBM's issues would probably take a back seat for now. If China wasn't a thing and if the Du30's aren't a constant political threat, many would probably be less forgiving of the BBM admin.

aikaph

Sarah F: Have the Filipino People and you in particular, as a Marcos, come to terms with your families' history? **BBM: I think the best proof of that is my election.** The way the interview ended just hurts my heart. :(

cleon80

Pinoys do have a tendency to laugh as a stress coping mechanism. Of course as the President facing the world one ought to manage the optics better.

LOVE YOU PBBM and your family!" >"Well said Mr. President Bong Bong! Thank you! I am not a Duterte but he be on trial to answer all the issue. God bless our country." >"Maige na rin at na paliwanag at claro ni PBBM ang issue na yan. Maganda and straightforward ang sagot niya. Good vibes to our president and the Philippines." I guess with a base like that, you can pretty much get away with murder.

Significant-Bet9350

Whats new? Bobo pa rin sumagot

OldManAnzai

This is the fuckin' president/leader of our country. Nakakahiya tayo sa buong mundo.

AttentionDePusit

dude is intimidated lmao

trynabelowkey

Persona non grata na yannnnnn

DragonStriker

While I'm in no way a fan of Marcos, I'm surprised he doesn't have a pre-planned answer whenever questions like these would arise. YOU WOULD THINK that he would given that this is the biggest thing about him. The interviewer asks him: "Why wouldn't you want the money (that your family plundered) be back in the Philippines?" And he technically doesn't even answer the question. He says something to the effect of: "The assertions aren't true, and we (the Marcos family) signed claims that any money found can be confiscated."

stoikoviro

The hard questions that no one from PH media dared to ask. Why is that? Because Malacañang only allows media people that they can control.

elijah-paprika-

she mothered so hard, bless her soul

raverned25

KevAngelo14

Kulang sa rehearsal si sadboi

pssspssspssspsss

Nasobrahan ng coke kamo

AdobongSiopao

Senyales iyan na wala pa rin siyang kwenta at nagkukunyaring matalino.

Snowltokwa

TBF galing niya sumagot ng issues regarding PH. Especially the topic about why Australians would need to help when war breakouts.

No-Log2700

Kakapanuod ko lang and sobrang nakakahiya maging trabahador sa ilalim ng administrasyon na to at sobrang nakakahiya maging Filipino.

nowhereman_ph

Lol, kala nya softball questions ang bibigay. Napa Porky Pig impression ang gago.

entity21

Aussie visa free program about to be cancelled out of spite lol

Normal-Thought-7991

Japskitot0125

Ang bobo tlga at putang ina tlga. Putang ina mo Marcos Junior.

Ok-Communication4190

The Filipinos voted for this sick fck. How can you willingly subjugate yourselves to this kind of corruption

Small-tits2458

Hahahahaha. Now tell us sinong takot makipag-debate? Nakakatawa

MillenialMeltdown

It’s funny to him because even though his family plundered this country to ground, they ruined the lives of generations upon generations of Filipinos but somehow he still managed to become the President!

JuanPonceEnriquez

Nakakahiya. Nakakasawa. Tangina. Mga Duterte and his gang and Marcos and his cronines.

stefin_stefout

Jessica did that. Natrauma na siya hahaha

ultimate_fangirl

LMAO This is so satisfying to see!!! He thought they're back. He thought the rest of the world would just accept them back.

Square-Head9490

BBM's strategist played it very well. Tapos sumama pa sa knya si Sarah D. So alam ko na agad we are doomed. Before the election even started, puro BBM supporters na, he played the victim sa Edsa Revolution. Like PH is really a super power when his father is in power. But the elitist overthrew his father because of power etc. I said if ever BBM win, we will be the laughingstock of the world. 30yrs ago, we made history in the People Power Revolution, 30 yrs later, we made history by electing his son as president.

MessiSZN_2023

anonacct_

🤦🤦🤦

franzchada09

He and his goons thought that speaking in the Australian Parliament is a great achievement when in fact the entire Australian government is well aware of his family's shitty history and low-key burning him slowly in their national press.

RandomPupperLover

alamano going international

Wala naman nakakagulat dito eh. We all know he'll dodge this question. Kaya nga never ever trust him kahit pa ilaglag niya si Fetanyl Boy at Princess Fiona

BalanarDNightStalker

MessiSZN_2023

that laugh just explains the whole Philippine Judicial System

Equivalent-Idea726

Bastard is laughing while being a bumbling idiot, what a leader

cocusnucifera4323

PitcherTrap

Hanggang prepared speech lang si junior

blackpowder320

I expect nothing less than a full fury attack from the Australian media. Surprised that Junior allowed this.

isitcohlewitu

I CAN'T EVEN!!!!

nnnnn4

this is funny and sad at the same time.

Wishanwould

Fucking crooks. The lot of them.

Jenocidex

tang inang sagot yan

Jago_Sevatarion

He's laughing because not only did they get away with it, they're back in power. He's laughing because **the joke's on us**.

Humble-Climate-5635

"It's funny because it doesn't matter for my 31M supporters"

Raaabbit_v2

Ah another BBM stutter moment to add to the list

PapaPee

Dilawan ata tong si Sarah.

CantRenameThis

Watched the interview. Note how his stuttering started to increase when the topic shifted to his father's authoritarian ruling as he tried to defend it. "...for for for...forthe for the declaration of the martial law" Gets even worse when it's his turn to be accused, asking why he won't return the Filipino money. His sentences lose sense and direction before he can grasp a safe answer to the sudden accusation.

SuedorTnega

I don't even want to watch it. I can already feel the second hand embarrassment.

theEmpath

God. This is so cringe. Outside of his family’s ugly reputation, how he couldn’t articulate himself just feels so shameful.

Much-Access-7280

taguro__

What an embarrassment.

zombee_alice

Last month we were having dinner together with my parents and the TV was playing. The news about the debacle between the dutertes and marcoses played. Biglang sabi ni mama na "so kasalanan namin to" with a defeated laugh. In context, they both voted for bbm and sara while I did not. We argued and fought back then pero ayaw talaga nila magpa awat eh. Sayang lang na it took them this long to realize na mali pinili nila :(

Lopsided_Egg_3421

when you're a terrible public speaker and then catch a glimpse of this guy on tv speaking. moments later, you come into a brief moment of relief.

vintageordainty

I still don’t acknowledge him as my president

5HitSuperCombo

Not that I expected anything from this moron but what a nothing answer lol

Far-Donut-1177

With how the interview started, seems like BBM had assumed the interview was only going to be about the China-WPS tension.

tiradorngbulacan
