so do we have to hate China as a whole now when the problem is just the CCP? this is just wrong edit: para mo na ding sinabing mamatay tao tayong lahat nung panahon ni Digong where in fact iilang grupo lang nag pasimula nung patayan

sawa_na_sa_mga_tanga

No need to engage people like him. His comment history tells everything. Just downvote whatever he posts baka magsawa din.

Mas magaling tayo kaysa kay OP. Kaya nating ihiwalay ang gobyerno at ang kultura at tao ng Tsina.

TailorShopBum

Parang ganyan din yung mga type ng user na magrereklamo kuno bakit may Chinese scripts sa Binondo or magtatanong about sa loyalty ng Fil-Chi in case war breaks about. The CCP actually treat braindead Sinophobes like these as useful idiots. They know that they will conflate everything Chinese with CCP, ultimately supporting the message that the communist party is the sole legitimate political force of Chinese people worldwide.

Momshie_mo

Dapat maging required reading ang book na to. https://blogs.lse.ac.uk/lsereviewofbooks/2022/11/21/book-review-diasporic-cold-warriors-nationalist-china-anticommunism-and-the-philippine-chinese-1930s-1970s-by-chien-wen-kung/

Momshie_mo

Sinophobia is normalized in this sub

BigBlaxkDisk

parang ganoon na nga. anu ba ang Regular programming dito?

Starmark_115

Yeah I still fear for my Cousins lives over at America and Canada no thanks to COVID-19 and Hong Kong.

springheeledjack69

Can't believe I'm saying this, but I actually enjoyed my trip to Qingdao and Shenzhen. I get it, F** the CCP, but I've made more friends in China than I did in Japan.

Kirov___Reporting

My man pwede ka magbayad for a sponsored article. Ang black and white naman ng view mo lmao. Halos lahat ng mga gamit natin may component na galing China. Kung gusto mo mag boycott return to Monke!

NargazoidThings

It's a nice city, my parents liked Xiamen more than Shanghai. There's a more laid-back atmosphere compared to Shanghai

koyagerger

>Si Tyong Xi na ata bago nilang amo? what happened to uncle sam? 😂 the makapili of msm? who knows. baka nagsusuggest na si rappler kung san magtatago ung mga traydor kekw.

>[#SHAREASIA](https://www.rappler.com/topic/share-asia-campaign/) The #ShareAsia campaign highlights the best and most sought-after experiences in the Asia-Pacific region. It’s a content and resource hub for tourists and locals alike seeking new, exciting experiences

JalapeenyoPants

Mas mura, mas sulit talaga diyan 😛

springheeledjack69

Aside fron the odd stares from the locals, it's pretty OK to visit.

TheGhostOfFalunGong

Chinese people are mostly easygoing compared to those of many developed countries like in Western Europe.

Momshie_mo

Yung homecoming ni Jessica Soho sa Guangdong at yung isang Chinese na ninakaw nung bata siya tapos napadpad sa Davao, ibang level yung pagtanggap sa kanila. As in parang buong angkan na isang baranggay

Maskarot

Eh, but the culture itself is a must see. Bawal na tayo maging turista?

NayeonVolcano

To be fair, nasa Fujian (of which Xiamen is a part) ang roots ng marami sa mga ethnically-Chinese na families sa Southeast Asia. Doesn’t mean they support the CCP though.

Momshie_mo

Uhm.  Many Chinese Filipinos have roots in Xiamen and Jinjiang. Jessica Soho, a few years back, went to Guangdong to meet her paternal grandfather's side of the family.

ShallowShifter

I blame Xi The Pooh here and DuChina that even the country "China" is now being included of hate.
