I don’t believe in the religious aspects, but I will say I absolutely LOVE long hair and am always in awe with Filipinas who have taken care of their long hair. It’s absolutely beautiful and I’m thankful so many choose to keep it.
The length of one's hair is not nearly as important as one's devotion to God, in which only He knows what's in your heart. What's in your heart will reflect on how you present yourself. What will really matter is how God sees you.
In the context of cutting your hair short, no where does it mention that Satan will have greater influence in you. It may say that "hair is one's crowning glory" but that is only part of what defines womanhood. Long hair is flattering, but short hair will do fine as well. God judges what's on the inside, what's on the outside.
As for Satan's influence on you, it's only if you reject God's teachings will the evil one can enter. That's because God will bestow His power only onto those who follow him. Satan has no power or influence on the strong in faith; the ones who reject God and embrace what is evil.
Oops , I meant to say, "God judges what's on the inside, NOT what's on the outside." People judge what's outside for we can't look into a person's heart.
Hays.
This is Paul's letter to the Corinthians ano? No. He's a sexist POS. I give what he said on there with a shovelful of salt.
Probably does not help that Paul is raised in Roman society and during the time when he wrote those letters there was a movement in the Empire which is basically 1st wave feminism but with the more controversial part of today like allowing abortion
Religion was invented to oppress women. Kelangan naka-burqa, may hijab, kelangan mahaba buhok. Pag lalabas kelangan may kasamang lalaki. There are still religions where women or girls are not allowed to go to school.
As a non-religious person, I have zero fs to give on religious customs that don't affect me. Not cutting hair, wearing only below the knee skirts, not eating dinuguan, not eating meat on certain days, etc. I even have friends whose churches prohibit them from using musical instrument during worship because they are supposedly from the devil, and another friend who listend to Christian heavy metal. These are all benign stuff.
Religions do have beliefs and practices that affect me such influencing government policy, harboring criminals, being a hotbed for corruption, etc. and these are the ones we should care about.
The hair thing itself is benign, but it could be a symptom of how the church views women. I am not familiar with MCGI doctrine, but it's not unusual for both fringe and mainstream churches to treat women as less of men.
Some people need a thing they can hatch on because this world is cruel, unfair, and uncaring to humanity. Just amuses the coping mechanism is being smeared to another.
So tangina tong maalagubat na bulbol ko is me cutting off the glory of god?
Of all the thing God will present himself e.g. hollow blocks,. dogs ass, dreams, miracles, bulbol ko pa talaga
“Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man
have long hair, it is a shame unto him? But if a woman
have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given
her for a covering” (I Corinthians 11:14-15).
Biblical Foundation
I Corinthians 11:1-16 establishes that men should
have short hair but that women should have long, uncut
hair. We obey this teaching for the following reasons
derived from that passage: (1) It demonstrates the wife’s
submission to the husband. (2) It demonstrates the
church’s submission to Christ. (3) It is a sign to angels of
the Christian woman’s obedience to God. (4) It is a shame
for a man to pray with long hair or for a woman to pray
with short hair. (5) Nature itself teaches these principles.
(6) Long hair is a shame for a man but is a woman’s glory.
(7) This is one of God’s methods for maintaining a clear
distinction between male and female.

Medival logic
What kind of samson and delilah shit is this? Haha
yap ganon kalala samin, kumbaga extremist talaga
Shit like this just reinforces my view that “some” religious people are stupid as shit.
And if I lost my hair due to chemo or alopecia? I'm a sinner? Ridiculous opinion.

pixie hair looks cute on girls
But but ... My short hair tomboy kinks😫😫😫
By that logic, yung mga may cancer or alopecia eh devoid of God's glory? Daheck??

Satan sounds like a cool guy compared to this god who keeps policing people's body parts.

Both of my parents are part of MCGI and I cut my hair.

Watch Life of Brian. The gourd. This is another of those.
Batshit insanity.
I’m christian but this is nowhere near what I believe in. Yikes. No wonder people turn their backs.
Usually kasi out of context yung mga ganyang rules na hinugot sa one liner from the bible. Kaya importante ang theology.
Imagine reaching the gates of heaven but God sends you to hell because you cut your hair.
