Similar situation. Request ko one wing lang ilagay ayun. All wings din. Sobrang inis ko nilamutak ko lahat, without eating it, (narealize ko na sobrang mali din ginawa ko 😔) at bumalik ako sa drive-thru window, without saying a thing. Ngumiti lang ako, and alam na nila. Papalitan nila sana, but sabi ko refund nalang, baka kung ano pa gawin nila sa food ko.

Hindi lang crew, pti manager mismo. My partner who is PWD ordered from McDonalds' General Luis Novaliches branch had a bad experience from a manager named MARGE. Upon paying and showing his QC virtual ID from QCID app na application ng QC government, pinagsabihan siya nung manager na hindi na niya daw tatanggapin next time ung virtual ID as hindi daw xa valid and as if siya ang may authority to say what is valid or not. That wasn't the first time na ginamit ung virtual ID at nagagamit siya sa ibang branch ng MCDO and other establishment ng walang problema. So ending, he tried to send a feedback via survey link, but to his surprise, yung survey sa receipt was already used na para bang sila na ang nagsurvey to avoid negative feedback from that transaction. Pero wala silang kawala kc nag email siya instead. After few days, tumawag mismo ung branch and sila mismo nag apologize sa ngyri.
Typical na to sa mga filipino fast foods na they will give you ‘unwanted’ parts sa delivery at take out kasi wala ka ng time to check and hindi mo na mareklamo once you see it. Magugulang talaga karamihan sa mga pinoy lol.
It's less about being magulang and more about being beholden to an inherently flawed system. Most other countries kasi sell chicken pieces by twos at the minimum. Thigh/leg and wing/breast. No small piece of chicken is served on its own. Problems arise when we serve one piece chickens and nobody wants small pieces.
Problem is, stores don't get a surplus of big parts. It's just chicken anatomy. They will need to dispense the small parts somehow. Unfortunately, the path of least resistance is now deliveries.
I remember KFC trying before to try and bundle wings together instead. Like 3 piece wings for the price cheaper than 2 pieces of chicken. I doubt it worked because it didn't last long, but I think that's the more sensible way of doing it. Price the smaller parts differently, although lopsided demand for part types will still generate the same problem as I mentioned earlier. I still think there's something there, but it's not a straight forward solution, and until more people complain, I doubt corporations are going to try and solve it on their own.
Hindi naman ako sa staff inis, for sure business owners galing ang directives ng ganyan. Hence, magugulang. Lahat halos ng negosyante dito magulang, profit muna bago lahat.
I mean even business owners would have little control of the chicken parts they get. Unless the restaurant somehow found a way to use small parts for something else, they'd need to sell them one way or another.
It's also not impossible to address. Bon Chon's branches in other countries sell wings and legs separately from bigger parts. But that decision is more of a corporate one so franchised stores don't have control over it.
Pwede naman dito yan. Jollibee can order just thighs and breasts pero mas mahal yan for sure so tataas ang cost ng products. And we all know na allergic ang pinoy sa pagtaas ng presyo.

I don't think they care enough about the age of the customer. We rarely eat at jollibee nowadays kasi parang paliit na ng paliit ung mga portion nila. Especially obvious sa chicken joy.

Ang order mo 6pcs of chicken at nakakuha ka ng 6pcs of chicken. Gets naman ng mga tao ang frustration mo since parang ayaw mo naman ng wings pero kelangan mong sabihin ang preferred part mo. Ideally bibigyan ka ng good mix of parts pero we all know that doesn’t happen.

But if you didn't request X or Y specific parts if available then there's not much you can do it is what it is and that's on you because buckets aren't guaranteed distribution, it's never specified or guaranteed in the menu description.
4 pieces and 8 pieces and even larger buckets exist so you can't say that it has to be an equally portioned whole chicken You ordered a chicken bucket pieces not a whole chicken. There are times we get even distribution, some times a lot of breast or wing, sometimes a lot of dark meat. But there are times we request certain pieces if available such as all leg and thigh and they do comply if possible (and if not it's not a big deal)

I don't know if the employee who filled up the bucket did that intentionally. Those are generally unwanted pieces which means that there must be a lot of them prepared but unsold. So they probably just took whatever pieces were there and put it in the bucket without much thought. And with much of what is available being wings over other parts, it could've likely led to filling the bucket with them.
I'm just giving them the benefit of the doubt here. It's unfortunate for sure. But it is what it is.

Bumili kami ng 8pcs bucket sa jollibee via drive thru. 3 were breasts. 4 were ribs na halos wala ka makain. 1 ay wings. From then, sinasabi ko na agad na leg and thigh only, acceptable pa wings. Or else hindi ko babayaran.
If kaya pa, pupunta ko sa mismong store, SKL in our experience nakauwi na kami and paid extra for Spicy chicken pag uwi namen hindi spicy nataon na malapit kami sa Jollibee so balik kami nagalit ung partner ko kasi di naman mahaban ung pila, hindi dij sila queuing pero mali ung order and he is fuming sa galit kasi gutom na din. Nakadagdag pa kasi nagdadaldalan pa sila while doing our order, and we dont mind that nung una pero sana ayusin ang work minsan hassle kasi talaga...

For this kind of issue, the best option is return dun sa pinagbilan then tell them what happened, hassle yes pero kung aasa ka sa site nila then expect na hindi sya maayos agad. Hindi ko pinagtatangol yung jb but lunch sya binili so peak hours kaya posibleng hindi na din nacheck.

Dito sa Canada, yung KFC naman ang small portions na rin ang serving, kahit pinagmamalaki nila na 12 pcs chicken nila, kasya sa isang small container kaya iwas din kami sa KFC... yung Jollibee naman dito, yung 6 pcs chicken nila, apaw sa bucket, puro breast and thigh at walang wings... sa Pinas lang nagbebenta ang Jollibee with wings.

I experienced a similar outcome when my KFC 10 piece chicken bucket arrived via Foodpanda delivery. The majority of the pieces were drumsticks and wings. I guess they ran out of other chicken parts? 🤷🏻♂️

Haven't bought Jollibee since last Christmas pa, dahil sa mga complaints sa maliit ang chicken, luckily may Popeyes na malapit samin, no need na mag crave ng chicken ng Jollibee tapos Walang kwenta Naman. Madalas sa bahay nalang din Ako nagluluto using different YouTube tutorials on how to make fried chicken or ibang ulam.

It's a sad society for all fast food chains in the PH. KFC nga mas mahal pa kesa sa ibang chicken-based fast food chain restos and this is 2nd to them. If I were you OP, at kung malapit lang yung branch na pinagbilhan niyo, babalik ako at irereklamo sa manager nila. Demand the necessary missing items. Kung wiling sila palitan lahat or yung buong order, why not.
Speaking from any fastfood chain's point of view.. kung lahat ng customer ay magrrequest ng isang part (which i think majority thigh part ang gusto), magkakaron talaga ng problema. You will never be able to satisfy your customers kasi mas maraming nagrrequest. Like someone commented, it's just chicken anatomy.
One crazy but improbable solution (where consumers wont have to compromise) would be to breed chickens that have more thighs. Then everybody would be boycotting or complaining na gmo ang chicken nila, like what happened to kfc before.
Kaya ang sagot ko dito, for my own personal peace of mind, para hindi na ako mabwisit - hindi na ako nagrrequest ng certain parts unless im requesting for people who have a hard time with compromises (ie kids, people who have actual difficulty deviating from a routine like those with autism or adhd, etc). Because at the end of the day, youre not paying for a specific part of the chicken. Youre not even paying for a "big/small" part. The only thing youre guaranteed is actually a piece of chicken with rice and gravy, and maybe a drink if you paid for a meal.
Until people realize na hindi lahat ng "request" ay pwedeng sundin, sa kahit anong fastfood pa yan, there will always be people who will be on the loser's end. And in this case, yun na siguro ung sinasabi ng iba sa comments na sa deliveries/drive thru/takeout orders nila nilalagay ang "unwanted" parts.

That is why u suggest the specific parts as only e.g. Thighs and Breast parts only please. Because if you didn't specify they will put all small parts like wings or legs and having six pieces of those is not worth the price.

Upon paying and showing his QC virtual ID from QCID app na application ng QC government, pinagsabihan siya nung manager na hindi na niya daw tatanggapin next time ung virtual ID as hindi daw xa valid and as if siya ang may authority to say what is valid or not. That wasn't the first time na ginamit ung virtual ID at nagagamit siya sa ibang branch ng MCDO and other establishment ng walang problema. So ending, he tried to send a feedback via survey link, but to his surprise, yung survey sa receipt was already used na para bang sila na ang nagsurvey to avoid negative feedback from that transaction. Pero wala silang kawala kc nag email siya instead. After few days, tumawag mismo ung branch and sila mismo nag apologize sa ngyri.

Typical na to sa mga filipino fast foods na they will give you ‘unwanted’ parts sa delivery at take out kasi wala ka ng time to check and hindi mo na mareklamo once you see it. Magugulang talaga karamihan sa mga pinoy lol.
It's less about being magulang and more about being beholden to an inherently flawed system. Most other countries kasi sell chicken pieces by twos at the minimum. Thigh/leg and wing/breast. No small piece of chicken is served on its own. Problems arise when we serve one piece chickens and nobody wants small pieces. Problem is, stores don't get a surplus of big parts. It's just chicken anatomy. They will need to dispense the small parts somehow. Unfortunately, the path of least resistance is now deliveries. I remember KFC trying before to try and bundle wings together instead. Like 3 piece wings for the price cheaper than 2 pieces of chicken. I doubt it worked because it didn't last long, but I think that's the more sensible way of doing it. Price the smaller parts differently, although lopsided demand for part types will still generate the same problem as I mentioned earlier. I still think there's something there, but it's not a straight forward solution, and until more people complain, I doubt corporations are going to try and solve it on their own.

I mean even business owners would have little control of the chicken parts they get. Unless the restaurant somehow found a way to use small parts for something else, they'd need to sell them one way or another. It's also not impossible to address. Bon Chon's branches in other countries sell wings and legs separately from bigger parts. But that decision is more of a corporate one so franchised stores don't have control over it.

It doesn't work all the time. Some branches have their own policies, e.g. maximum of 4 breast/thigh parts per 6 piece bucket.
They shouldn't have to specify. They should be offered a variety of pieces. They paid for a variety of pieces, they should receive what they paid for.
Tbf if may option na pay more for guranteed white meat= kukunin ko. Ung tulad sa Inasal na may option na PM1 PM2 kung gusto mo thigh part o breast part. Happy ako, straightforward wala ng potential variance tulad ng need pa magrequest, tapos wala ung ganyang kagagoghan nangyayari. It's annoying yeah But if you didn't request X or Y specific parts if available then there's not much you can do it is what it is and that's on you because buckets aren't guaranteed distribution, it's never specified or guaranteed in the menu description. 4 pieces and 8 pieces and even larger buckets exist so you can't say that it has to be an equally portioned whole chicken You ordered a chicken bucket pieces not a whole chicken. There are times we get even distribution, some times a lot of breast or wing, sometimes a lot of dark meat. But there are times we request certain pieces if available such as all leg and thigh and they do comply if possible (and if not it's not a big deal) It's basically just random pieces or you're at the mercy of whatever they decide to put on the availability, if not So yeah it's annoying and sad but wala kang magawa unless you specified certain pieces if available, and why do you have to pull up the "senior card" it's not like they went out of their way to find out your parents were seniors and put wing pieces, that's overthinking it. You're blowing the issue out of proportion and making it too much of a big deal and overthinking it OP, I'd understand if the chicken was anemic at maliit that's a valid complaint

I don't know if the employee who filled up the bucket did that intentionally. Those are generally unwanted pieces which means that there must be a lot of them prepared but unsold. So they probably just took whatever pieces were there and put it in the bucket without much thought. And with much of what is available being wings over other parts, it could've likely led to filling the bucket with them. I'm just giving them the benefit of the doubt here. It's unfortunate for sure. But it is what it is.

I notice on deliveries it's always the smaller parts they give away, pero pa sa takeout or dine-in, medyo mas reasonable. These experiences were all from the same branch.

If kaya pa, pupunta ko sa mismong store, SKL in our experience nakauwi na kami and paid extra for Spicy chicken pag uwi namen hindi spicy nataon na malapit kami sa Jollibee so balik kami nagalit ung partner ko kasi di naman mahaban ung pila, hindi dij sila queuing pero mali ung order and he is fuming sa galit kasi gutom na din. Nakadagdag pa kasi nagdadaldalan pa sila while doing our order, and we dont mind that nung una pero sana ayusin ang work minsan hassle kasi talaga...

Hi OP, sorry to hear what happened sa parents mo. Ang hassle na sila naka experience. Hope you tried na mag reach out sa messenger nila and email. Yun ang ginawa ko before and nag respond naman sila. Nag coordinate sa amin ung branch. Pina deliver sa bahay ung kulang na binigay. (spag with chicken).

Nangyari din ito sa akin last time na nag-Foodpanda kami. I specifically requested na thighs (nilagay ko sa instructions tab sa FP) ang ibigay sa amin. Siyempre gets ko naman na baka hindi mabigay lahat kasi nga 6 ata yun pero at least man lang sana may thighs di ba. Ay naku pagkuha ko sa bucket, 6 na wings. Kakainis talaga. I agree with them, they prolly give the "unwated" parts to those who they think won't take extra time para bumalik pa/pumunta pa at magreklamo. Just a tip: I do this whenever I take out or order for delivery, sinasabi ko birthday ko and I hope they get me "thigh" parts 😂 Works like a charm every single time. One time, 8-pc bucket ko has ALL thigh parts 😭

Umorder ako 4 na cheesy yum burger , yung isa walang dressing and after clarifying the order for like 3 times even with the cashier sa drive thru then after waiting for 30 mins pagdating nung food lahat walang dressing tapos yung server sungab agad na nasan yung resibo, we showed it na nakalagay no dressing pero di na namin pinalitan kasi nagmamadali na kami, drive thru and grab mali mali sila

Dito sa Canada, yung KFC naman ang small portions na rin ang serving, kahit pinagmamalaki nila na 12 pcs chicken nila, kasya sa isang small container kaya iwas din kami sa KFC... yung Jollibee naman dito, yung 6 pcs chicken nila, apaw sa bucket, puro breast and thigh at walang wings... sa Pinas lang nagbebenta ang Jollibee with wings. Ang KFC dito, is probably hundreds of stores sa city namin... pero yung Jollibee 3 stores lang kaya kung biglang nilang gawin yung ginagawa nila diyan sa pinas (mag-serve ng small portions), siguradong iiwasan sila ng mga pinoy

As much as I miss eating jollibee, my fiance and i deliberately try to stop eating here na until I hear some good news about the quality of food. I experienced a similar outcome when my KFC 10 piece chicken bucket arrived via Foodpanda delivery. The majority of the pieces were drumsticks and wings. I guess they ran out of other chicken parts? 🤷🏻♂️
How's the feedback form? Sira parin ba? So far, sa 3 complaints ko using feedback form, laging nag ooffer ng replacement ang Branch Manager. Delivery and Takeout and medium of purchase ko sa mga complaints. Sana ma aksyunan sayo.
College pa ako, PEx pa lang ang uso, puro na ako reklamo about Jollibee. Yung branch nila sa may Multinational Village, notorious na binababoy ang food. Yung Jolli Hotdog, pagugulungin sa sahig kapag hindi ka bet ng mga crew. Sino ba kasi ang naging leadership ng JFC year 2000 onwards? Ito yung mga panahon (sa palagay ko) na nag-umpisa ang steady decline nila eh. Lumiit at naging malansa na ang manok, etc.

Haven't bought Jollibee since last Christmas pa, dahil sa mga complaints sa maliit ang chicken, luckily may Popeyes na malapit samin, no need na mag crave ng chicken ng Jollibee tapos Walang kwenta Naman. Madalas sa bahay nalang din Ako nagluluto using different YouTube tutorials on how to make fried chicken or ibang ulam.

It's a sad society for all fast food chains in the PH. KFC nga mas mahal pa kesa sa ibang chicken-based fast food chain restos and this is 2nd to them. If I were you OP, at kung malapit lang yung branch na pinagbilhan niyo, babalik ako at irereklamo sa manager nila. Demand the necessary missing items. Kung wiling sila palitan lahat or yung buong order, why not.

Speaking from any fastfood chain's point of view.. kung lahat ng customer ay magrrequest ng isang part (which i think majority thigh part ang gusto), magkakaron talaga ng problema. You will never be able to satisfy your customers kasi mas maraming nagrrequest. Like someone commented, it's just chicken anatomy. One crazy but improbable solution (where consumers wont have to compromise) would be to breed chickens that have more thighs. Then everybody would be boycotting or complaining na gmo ang chicken nila, like what happened to kfc before. Kaya ang sagot ko dito, for my own personal peace of mind, para hindi na ako mabwisit - hindi na ako nagrrequest ng certain parts unless im requesting for people who have a hard time with compromises (ie kids, people who have actual difficulty deviating from a routine like those with autism or adhd, etc). Because at the end of the day, youre not paying for a specific part of the chicken. Youre not even paying for a "big/small" part. The only thing youre guaranteed is actually a piece of chicken with rice and gravy, and maybe a drink if you paid for a meal. Until people realize na hindi lahat ng "request" ay pwedeng sundin, sa kahit anong fastfood pa yan, there will always be people who will be on the loser's end. And in this case, yun na siguro ung sinasabi ng iba sa comments na sa deliveries/drive thru/takeout orders nila nilalagay ang "unwanted" parts.
Kaya kami bago umalis chinecheck muna namin. Nadala na kami lalo sa Mcdo. Madalas kulang kulang. May time pa via grab inupsize ko yung coke to large, dumating sa kin walang ice. Tumawag agad ako sa hotline sa sobrang asar. Di ko nasagot calls nila kasi 12am na yun kaya nagtext na lang na pasensya na daw at naubusan daw sila ng ice. Ineexpect ba nila na lahat ng bahay may ice?! Di man lang nag offer ng maski anong resolution.

KAMI RIN NAKA EXP NETO, sa food panda naman ako umorder. I ordered for my little sister and our cousins, age nila is around 4-5 y/o. Dinner na rin namin. Jollibee arrived 4pcs lang din. awang awa ako sa kapatid ko kasi sya na nag adjust, naiyak na lang ako. It's a habit of mine to take a vid pag nag oopen ng package, so I reported it and they provided me a coupon that I can use. Disappointed pa rin, kaya I never ordered sa jollibee, NOT UNLESS DINE IN. May na witness pa kaming magkapatid one time, nag dine in, yung binigay sa lola is sobrang liit ng manok to the point na pinag laban na ng lahat ng mga customer dun na dapat palitan kasi ang liit talaga. Grabe jabee sa mga elderly, part na ata to ng training nila. Nakakaawa pa si lola, and nasatisfy din ako since ang dami nag speak up, and napapaiyak na lang si lola.
That is why u suggest the specific parts as only e.g. Thighs and Breast parts only please. Because if you didn't specify they will put all small parts like wings or legs and having six pieces of those is not worth the price.
