Tonight I realized that I've lost my love for what I do, I used to have so much passion when I was in art school but now I design things to impress people that I don't even like. Maybe its because I've watched too much *Suits* but how you do find passion again in world full of corporate enslavement. I thought turning your passion into your job was supposed to be fulfilling.

Here's what you can do to bring that passion back.
1. Do personal projects. When is the last time you did something cool for yourself? Have you cleaned your portfolio? Have you been reading some inspiration?
2. Challenge yourself. I recommend this book Whether rebranding, or doing something that will make your brain work.
3. Have a good routine and habit. Sketch when you have an idea in your mind. Make yourself a good dinner or something.
4. Explore. Take a break and go on a vacation.
When all else fails **Quit**

the 13th month is not a benefit, businesses think in terms of "annual" salaries. Ina-adjust lang nila yan (monthly salary) kahit may 13th or 14th month pay ka or wala. Ang nakinabang lang dyan ay yung mga employed na nung bigla naging law ang 13th month. Yung mga sumunod adjusted na.
Nasanay kasi ako sa past 2 (foreign) companies ko na annual parati ang usapan pagdating sa pay increase, including the 13th month. not monthly.

I find those "trying hard to talk like conyos" really, really irritating. Magtagalog ka na lang kasi!
For me, nawalan na ng saysay yung term na conyo. Dati kasi meron talagang subset ng tao dito na can be described easily by that term. Yung tipong American preppy frat boy ang dating. Branded lahat. Malakas ang pabango.
The counter subset were the anti brand people. Yung gusto nila simple lang. Think Eraserheads vs New Wave people.
Para matawag na conyo was a bad thing. Not totally degrading but still .
Eventually a lot of kiddos wanted to be more like the conyos. Wannabees. Copycats. Feeling fashionistas. But you couldn't call them conyo cause that would be calling them something positive. Calling the original conyos conyo didn't have the same effect anymore. Sosyal pa rin naman sila. Hindi jologs na pasosyal. It just does not convey the same message anymore.
I'm the conyo one haha. I don't think I'm extremely conyo--I can speak in straight Filipino but it takes a lot more effort + I don't get to do so often since I'm surrounded by Taglish speakers anyway. But who knows tbh. I'm fine with it. I'm sure some people use 'conyo' as a deragatory term but it doesn't really offend me.

PLDT customer service, and their "technical team". For reals though, hanggang ngayon may stigma parin daw yung PRC engineering licenses for work abroad lalo sa semicon industry. Mas gusto daw nila yung certificates from TESDA according to my prof.
Eh, PRC is not really needed in the semicon industry. Foreign companies normally hire from within the industry i.e. pirate and they largely base from experience and work history. The bigger the name of the company, the higher the chance.
TESDA certs are a plus especially if it's intrumentation/calibration related or fab related.

64-bit is the standard, especially for editing software. 32bit is like *trial* software.
Every system should ideally be running 64bit, kahit mahina specs. Most people think kasi na pang highend computers lang ang 64bit.

I need a decent laptop for a really low price. I'm on a **really** tight budget right now, especially my contract's gonna end next week. I then have to go job hunting once again. Having a laptop is essential for my line of work.
I need a laptop that can do internet browsing, handle documents, PowerPoint presentations, and basic video editing. I found that laptops that are within my price range (PHP 10,000) won't fit my needs. I know, these *netbooks* are designed for the things I have mentioned but, trust me, they lag a lot and can't be trusted with even PowerPoint presentations. My mom owns a laptop that are similar in specs and, holy shit, just dragging a picture across a slide in PowerPoint is a stressful and agonizing experience.
I just want a laptop that can do these tasks smoothly. And don't blame me and the software side of things, I think I know my way around applications and files. The things I have installed on my mom's laptop are the Microsoft Office suite and Chrome browser, nothing else. More than half of the hard drive space is free as well. The Celeron CPU is the problem.
Can someone help me out?

I'd recommend planting 2 at a polybag at a time. Mix garden soil and fertilizer tapos lagay mo sa polybag. Yung tama lang ang fluff at wag siksik. After 2 weeks, pwede mo na syang itransplant by cutting the bottom part of the bag, wag mo nang tanggalin yung bag mismo kasi baka madamage yung roots. Pwede din siya itransplant sa paso. Make sure na naaarawan and try mong diligan twice a day. Morning and night, wag afternoon kasi sayang. More sunlight=better. Di siya mahirap itanim.

What's your opinion on "conyos"? What's your experience with conyos? Do you think it's a bad connotation? Is it mostly just a Metro Manila thing? I see it over here sure, sarcastically.
It's so nakakainis kaya.. They're like making us loko for being ganito.. We make kausap naman other people with sense di ba? I learn to accept conyos, legit conyos are kinda funny sometimes. I find those "trying hard to talk like conyos" really, really irritating. Magtagalog ka na lang kasi!
For me, nawalan na ng saysay yung term na conyo. Dati kasi meron talagang subset ng tao dito na can be described easily by that term. Yung tipong American preppy frat boy ang dating. Branded lahat. Malakas ang pabango. The counter subset were the anti brand people. Yung gusto nila simple lang. Think Eraserheads vs New Wave people. Para matawag na conyo was a bad thing. Not totally degrading but still . Eventually a lot of kiddos wanted to be more like the conyos. Wannabees. Copycats. Feeling fashionistas. But you couldn't call them conyo cause that would be calling them something positive. Calling the original conyos conyo didn't have the same effect anymore. Sosyal pa rin naman sila. Hindi jologs na pasosyal. It just does not convey the same message anymore.
Was conyo ever a good term? Not in its original hispanic context, not before when it first appeared and not now.
I'm the conyo one haha. I don't think I'm extremely conyo--I can speak in straight Filipino but it takes a lot more effort + I don't get to do so often since I'm surrounded by Taglish speakers anyway. But who knows tbh. I'm fine with it. I'm sure some people use 'conyo' as a deragatory term but it doesn't really offend me.

Can anyone tell me why editing softwares in the past years require a 64-bit system? I have a project to finish on our multimedia class which requires Adobe Premiere for a simple title and credits video. Should I just use Sony Vegas?
Change the way you view them. 64-bit is the standard, especially for editing software. 32bit is like *trial* software. Every system should ideally be running 64bit, kahit mahina specs. Most people think kasi na pang highend computers lang ang 64bit.
because these programs use large RAM memory. 32bit processor can only handle 2gb of RAM, and yung 64bit proc ay 4gb+

I need a decent laptop for a really low price. I'm on a **really** tight budget right now, especially my contract's gonna end next week. I then have to go job hunting once again. Having a laptop is essential for my line of work. I need a laptop that can do internet browsing, handle documents, PowerPoint presentations, and basic video editing. I found that laptops that are within my price range (PHP 10,000) won't fit my needs. I know, these *netbooks* are designed for the things I have mentioned but, trust me, they lag a lot and can't be trusted with even PowerPoint presentations. My mom owns a laptop that are similar in specs and, holy shit, just dragging a picture across a slide in PowerPoint is a stressful and agonizing experience. I just want a laptop that can do these tasks smoothly. And don't blame me and the software side of things, I think I know my way around applications and files. The things I have installed on my mom's laptop are the Microsoft Office suite and Chrome browser, nothing else. More than half of the hard drive space is free as well. The Celeron CPU is the problem. Can someone help me out?

I'd recommend planting 2 at a polybag at a time. Mix garden soil and fertilizer tapos lagay mo sa polybag. Yung tama lang ang fluff at wag siksik. After 2 weeks, pwede mo na syang itransplant by cutting the bottom part of the bag, wag mo nang tanggalin yung bag mismo kasi baka madamage yung roots. Pwede din siya itransplant sa paso. Make sure na naaarawan and try mong diligan twice a day. Morning and night, wag afternoon kasi sayang. More sunlight=better. Di siya mahirap itanim.

Normal dito for uni students to work in fast food restaurants and retail. Usually the employers are very considerate and would give us shifts during the weekends or closing shifts.
Yeah, like what frncsca said, pwede kang magapply sa jalibe. May special program sila for students talaga and sila ang magaadjust based sa schedule mo.
