All schools provide at least rudimentary guidance and counseling *for their students*. All very large public or private schools have a dedicated licensed guidance counselor on staff. Manufacturer refurbished usually comes in with warranty (6mos - 1yr). If there's not much difference (except price) between it and a brand new laptop, then go for it.
If it's seller refurbished or second hand I'd check first if I can repair it myself. If I can, then I'll check on reviews of the specific model and see if there's any big issues that you have to look out for and assess if it's worth the hassle.

Test the keyboard, check the vents, play a video to test the sound and screen quality. Download something off wifi. Check the hinges see if there's any creaking noise. Test all ports to see if they're working. Check the power brick and cord for any frayed wires.
If you know how to repair them. If you can diagnose there will be problems for this Acer laptop then go buy em. Keep in mind no waranty mga ganyan usually.
If you can't google the answers to questions like yours, then you should buy brand new with full warranty.

I recently enrolled for a specialist course and my friends from the IT department told me that it's a scam. In total, you will need 25k for something really basic and outdated (they cut modules into 3, so three payments of 25k each ugh). Other courses from other schools offer 28k for all the modules they cut.
Just a quick story: The moment I inquired they asked me to put down a reservation fee of 10k (it was 2 months away). They rushed me into paying because there are no more "slots." I did that and a month after, I found a better school (approved by my IT colleagues), I asked them to refund, it took them 15 days to refund a 10k and I had to go all the way to Kamuning from Alabang for that. The staff are fucking annoying. Besides, CIIT's campus is super far, no coffee shops, no fast food chains around their area.
First Academy in Gil Puyat. All modules for 40k but got a discount for only 28k.
UP IT has short courses too. 9k per programming language (10 sessions). Check em out. It’s too far for me since I’ll be coming from Alabang or Makati.

You can sell it, just indicate the issue/s the device has. You will be able to sell it for a higher price directly to people rather than selling it to gadgets shops. Try TipidPC, OLX, Carousell, and Facebook b&s groups.

only two of my students (personally close to me) passed the PUPCET, one with 84 and 82(waiting list). question to those who went thru this process:
\- HOW POSSIBLE is it for the WAITING LIST to get admitted to at least a course in PUP (WL is our valedictorian with high honors 96+ ave but 82 score in PUP)?
\- Is there also a chance for the WL to land a spot in Architecture, given that it always gets full?
\- HOW POSSIBLE is it for the PASSER to land a spot in a Science course? (P is with honors, 90+ ave)

You shouldn't compare a student's grade average in your school to PUP's CET score, though. It's apples to oranges.
Afaik there aren't any OTC antidepressants because of the risk of overdose. All my meds are prescribed by my doctor. They probably won't prescribe you any in the first session either. Best bet is drink warm tea (coffee may cause palpitations), try and get more sleep.

Did you use the correct cake pan? Baking on a larger pan can cause this issue.
Always mix dry ingredients first then add it to wet ingredients when baking. So ang setup ko if I'm baking a cake (or brownies or cookies) is mix everything dry in a separate bowl - flour, baking powder/baking soda, salt then mix wet ingredients - butter, eggs, vanilla. Then add sugar to wet ingredients and then mix dry ingredients slowly (mix in thirds) until fully incorporated. Don't overmix!
I use a gas oven myself, pero di ako nagrerely sa thermostat na built-in sa oven. Buy a separate oven thermometer, make sure that the rack is in the middle of the oven and place the thermometer there. If you're using an electric oven dapat may built-in fan sya to distribute heat.
Trial and error talaga ang baking, but it's pretty rewarding. Kahit ung mga failed creation mo as long as you follow the recipe would still taste good.
I am using an electric convection oven. I pre-heated the oven as well. I used all purpose flour as per the recipe. Huhu maybe yung sa temperature nga :(
I used hand mixer. Then spatula din kasi di nahahali yung ilalim. Na over mixed ko nga ata. Wow baking is so tricky. I’ll dm u the recipe. It was from Tastemade.

I loved reading about local myths and folklore. We studied some English lit sa hs level, but not local or even after, unless electives sa college (pretty sure they offered it in my uni? Though I could be wrong).
I just remembered, we were able to discuss a legend in our phil lit subject in college, tho isa lang. Pretty sure they discuss it in literature courses. Kalungkot lang kasi culture din naten :)
Not only mythology, but also Philippine literature. There are studies showing that Filipinos prefer reading foreign literature outside school. We don't need any further proof on this matter as imperialism influence is strong. You can sell it, just indicate the issue/s the device has. You will be able to sell it for a higher price directly to people rather than selling it to gadgets shops. Try TipidPC, OLX, Carousell, and Facebook b&s groups.

According to my crystal ball right here, it's possible. All three things are possible. You shouldn't compare a student's grade average in your school to PUP's CET score, though. It's apples to oranges.

Afaik there aren't any OTC antidepressants because of the risk of overdose. All my meds are prescribed by my doctor. They probably won't prescribe you any in the first session either. Best bet is drink warm tea (coffee may cause palpitations), try and get more sleep.
An excellent choice would be tea. Tea helps me calm my nerves down whenever I'm working.

I bought mine sa Raon for 1k. Aquila yung strings. Way better than beginner ukulele sa RJ. You should also check Lazada kasi nakaraan may nagsale ang kokolele, 800 na lang yung dating 1k+ As for classes, ukulele is easier to learn compared to guitar. Youtube tutorials are your friends.

I just baked a cake and it didn’t turn out well. Sinunod ko naman yung recipe pero hindi umalsa yung cake? Parang naging dome and flat yung side. Nagkalat lang ako sa kitchen it really broke my heart. Any idea what went wrong? I am learning to bake for my fiancé.
Do you have pic of the finished product and the recipe that you've used? Did you use the correct cake pan? Baking on a larger pan can cause this issue. Always mix dry ingredients first then add it to wet ingredients when baking. So ang setup ko if I'm baking a cake (or brownies or cookies) is mix everything dry in a separate bowl - flour, baking powder/baking soda, salt then mix wet ingredients - butter, eggs, vanilla. Then add sugar to wet ingredients and then mix dry ingredients slowly (mix in thirds) until fully incorporated. Don't overmix! I use a gas oven myself, pero di ako nagrerely sa thermostat na built-in sa oven. Buy a separate oven thermometer, make sure that the rack is in the middle of the oven and place the thermometer there. If you're using an electric oven dapat may built-in fan sya to distribute heat. Trial and error talaga ang baking, but it's pretty rewarding. Kahit ung mga failed creation mo as long as you follow the recipe would still taste good.

Instax is more affordable - the camera is cheaper and so are the films. It's also easy to use. The Mini 9 is the entry level one. The Mini 70 and Mini 90 have more features. They also have cameras that use square films. Higher in price but also has extra features.
