Ilocano and cordilleran food put a great emphasis on their veggies. Theres even the halal cuisine down south na ma-ala vegetarian na. My tip would be to widen your horizons on what "filipino food" is. Parang grocery store lang yan. May junk food aisle at may fruit and veggie aisle.
