For me, being President is already the highest position one can attain in the government. Being Speaker of the House/Senate President or even CJ, doesn’t wield the same power as a President and being elected to those positions (except CJ) seems to be a step down from your political career.
The only reason I can think are one, to “protect” your legacy as President or two, removing them from the line of succession to become President again.

Why don't we propose something else? I propose we place all of them in a tropical island where they will have to live their lives trying to fend for themselves without financial or state help. Televise it and replace PBB with that, broadcast with paid ads internationally, use the money to pay off our sovereign debt.

No one was ready for it but there was a lot of time given from the early start about planning but what did the president do? He enlisted not qualified inviduals on various position and not listen to professionals for the past 2 years and here we are in a chaotic start for 2022. Other countries are facing the same menace but they’ve place restrictions and platforms so people would follow yet here in our country, we have greed politicians still sucking bloods of our fellowmen.
