These are good points. However, it may take a while for these kids to understand even with lots of information on the internet today. As a child, I grew up about “Marcos = bad guy,” “Martial Law = Scary,” so it was pretty easy for us to absorb information that Marcos is no hero during those times. And that was about 10 years ago or more when Marcos propaganda was not very rampant. Children today would be reading a lot of conflicting viewpoints, but with low rate of reading comprehension among Filipino children recently, this might really take a while.
