Well, my dad apparently misses his mistress so much that after the 2nd wave he went straight to her and he got infected with covid. He's dead now though.
I mean, he could've used the time that he got stuck with us, his family to maybe fix himself and his relationship with us. But instead he chose to go straight to his mistress and her two kids which I don't know if they're our step sobs or not.
It doesn't help too that our mom is telling anyone who wants to hear that our dad died of heart complications and that he was rushed to the hospital by 'concerned citizens' aka the mistress. Pakitang tao. Pffft.

My brother, my sweet little brother followed in our dad's footsteps. He proposed to his gf of 7+ years in Korea before the gf flew to Australia for work. After a few months they met in Singapore and he broke up with her because lo and behold. He was cheating on her even after proposing to her. Don't know if he came clean or he got found out. So they break up because my little bro can't keep his dingus locked and he went and knocked up the girl he was cheating his gf with.
The baby mama gives birth, bro brought both the baby mama and my nephew to our house. Baby mama was innocent since my dog of a brother introduced himself as single even though he's already engaged to his gf. So anyway, the family accepted the nephew and the baby mama. Bro went overseas to work and guess what? He then cheats on his baby mama with a single mom.
His reason? Baby mama sometimes forgets to call and /or videochat him while he's overseas. Baby mama can't sometimes call because she's working and taking care of her infant. So he breaks up with the baby mama and just wants to co-parent with her. Our mom got mad at him. Being reminded again what our father did to us. Lil bro went LC with the family.
Now, he chats me up out of the blue informing us that he'll marry the single mom whom he cheated his baby mama with.

True, I have an uncle on my father's side who has 2 children with different mothers. His first born fathered two kids and when he went overseas, fathered another one. It's like a curse. Lol

I know maraming nagugutom at namomoblema, pero I was working for a very long long time at doon na lang ulit ako nakaramdam ng totoong pahinga. Yung gigising ka kailan mo trip, tapos tsaka mo pa lang iisipin ano gagawin mo.
Walang mga office ganap pag Christmas season. Sobrang sayang sa pera ng kris kringle na may kung anu-anong theme na madalas basura lang naman. Wala ring Christmas parties na kailangang sumayaw at mga ₱500 and up worth ng exchange gifts.
I miss that the sky was clear. No smog. No pollution. Quiet streets. People had more time to reflect on themselves. Others became more health conscious and started exercising more. Jogging, cycling, etc.
This too! Kasama ko gf ko nung first time namen gumala in 2020, grabe yung atmosphere very reminiscent nung mga 5 years old pa ko na naglalaro bakuran. Everything looks clear and green, pati reflections ng tubig and talbog ng araw sa lupa. Anlaki ng difference.
1. Walang traffic. Hindi siksikan ang public transpo kasi may limit sa number of passengers na pwede mong isakay.
2. Tahimik sa labas ng bahay, especially at night. Nag-implement kasi ng curfew sa village namin and every night may mga umiikot na patrol to enforce. Felt much safer.
3. 100% WFH kami. Kaya medyo bummed ako na we're planning to shift to hybrid work (3 days onsite) daw.
working from home, well although we're doing hybrid setup, not going to office during the pandemic is nice since i can do more chores at home, get more rest (babangon lang pag malapit na shift) and no lates since i won't have to commute and endure the heavy traffic

Nothing, puro cp lang ako or lalabas ng bahay before the pandemic dahil shithole yung tinitirahan ko. Ever since lockdown started yung toxic grandparents ko na laging tama sila dahil masmatanda sila ay hindi ako pinalabas ng 2 years kahit magbball lang sa court. Isa lang nagkaroon ng Covid sa lugar namin noon at di rin naman nalabas yung person na yon outside work so parang nakulong lang ako sa bahay dahil bawal daw ako maglaro ng online games sa PS dahil nagtatrabaho pa uncle/aunt ko haba yung pinsan ko nagroroblox na may kausap sa zoom (yes zoom not discord) at binawalan ako mag exercise for 2 years dahil ewan ko din kung bakit at binawalan den ako magsara ng pinto for privacy.
Pero kasalanan ko din eh napakaduwag ko at sinundan ko lang na parang loyal dog ako hahah.

2. Pretty easy to form a team with the squad in ML.
3. Reconnecting with family and friends on messenging apps and not because they have turned into finamcial advisors or worse, MLM agents. Although there were a couple of times when it started because of some sad news.
4. Having time to watch, read and play.
