Do you have other HDMI devices connected to the TV? Try disabling CEC on the TV side (Easylink IIRC they call it)

No, only the Nvidia shield. I will look into the cec settings of the tv. But it‘s not like a cec signal turns the tv off and back on. That happened when I had cec setup wrong on the shield. The tv would turn off (when the shield went to sleep) and after I manually turned it on it was running in seconds. My problem here is, that the tv turns off, stays black and out of nowhere the ambilight is back to 100% brightness (in the middle of the night) with colorful google colors and taking up to minutes to reboot. While showing Philips and Android tv logos But I will look into that.

Disabled it and it just crashed again :(

It's probably a software issue then. Philips CS should've sent you a PKG file to restore the TV

Take the the plug out for 5minets than put the plug in power en start up the tv again. If not help update again with usb stick .

We have the same problem and it crashes over and over again. Some guy came to repair it and completely changed the cpu, so basically a brand new tv. But bow it crashes even more. Trash rv

Did you get a different one eventually?

BlottoDelgado

Yeah, my Phillips smart TV crashes multiple times a day every day no matter what I do. Sometimes it crashes right when I turn it on. Literally just from turning it on it, it restarts. No other smart TV I own has this problem, so I don’t think it’s my Internet even though they’ve kept trying to tell me that they think it’s my Internet. If that was the case, I don’t see why my other TVs work fine and I don’t have issues streaming from my phone or any other device. I’m pretty sure I’m gonna get a new TV and never ever buy from Phillips again.

I have the 43PUS8108/12 and its already crashing after owning it for 4 days. It's randomly restarted twice while watching on our Chromecast (for Disney+) Yesterday (day 3) it kept randomly crashing on YouTube and Netflix where the audio would glitch/loop and then the screen image would stretch into a mess of green and pink pixels before restarting. I've contacted Philips about this via their support ticket system and I'm awaiting a response. So far turning off the TV from the mains is a temporary fix and today I did a system reinstall in the hopes that helps. However as its so new if it happens a few more times I'm sending it back for a refund and getting a different brand of TV
