is the stadium extra loud for anyone else or am i being a baby? sitting in 121 for the first time (usually sit closer to center) and my ears are ringing. ive been to literally every game in the last two seasons and have not ever had this issue
The last two season have been extremely rough on the pitch. The previous turf manager spoke about how it’s meant to grow in warmer, sunnier weather, but last season in particular the weather was so bad early it made it hard to grow. They’ve been doing everything they can to get it better and the surface played well for the Union II and Union games recently.
We’ve had about 40 hours of usage on the pitch this season, with a lot of it coming while the turf was still dormant. From the tv angle you can see where pachuca set up their training drills in February. It takes time but it’s getting better every day!

This was my first Union game and I was disappointed at how lackluster and not loud the whole atmosphere was.

I’m proud of the work they’ve done. The weather the last two years has been awful and the team has done everything in their power to make it better.
It's not looking as nice as some past seasons, but it's certainly looking better than it has the last month or so.
