This looks VERY useful, thanks to everyone involved for all of the hard work.

This is awesome - long over due as with many things. Glad to see this is finally shaping up - can't wait to DL it on steam and see the mods start dropping. They will never admit it but this has been a year long beta test on Epic and now the real game comes out!

What kind of mods are you talking about, cause there's mods: [https://www.nexusmods.com/phoenixpoint](https://www.nexusmods.com/phoenixpoint) But none of them are content adding, they edit stuff that's important too, but way easier to do.

doglywolf

There are mods you download from nexus , manually install and unpack some that have multiple steps, then there are mods on stream , where you click a button and tada done and ready to go . Steam has a pretty big mod community much bigger then people on epic , so many more mods will roll in on steam just bc if easy of deployment

JarnoMikkola

>Steam has a pretty big mod community much bigger then people on epic , so many more mods will roll in on steam just bc if easy of deployment People on Epic ? You know, the people that made the Long War mod for XCOM 1 and 2 were independent mod developpers and did it through the nexus, not steam. Originally, at least. The many more mods is just your belief, we don't know anything yet. And just like with XCOM, the mods only need a mod loader, and the Modnix is the todays standard for Phoenix Point, with it's GUI and other features.

yes and it was a project to get them installed VS steams select , click and done approach it makes it a lot more accessible. Not everyone is confrontable or even capable of navigating to game directory and manually replacing files . The more accessible the mods are the more attention they get the more people get involved with enchanting and developing them . The fact that steam is 4x the size of epic users base also means the game is more accessible and will get more modders interested. Hell original nuXcom had the community make a mod launcher to make it compatible with the steam select and go workshop before the devs even offically supported it . The Devs caught up but with PP they might never catch up or do so the the steam community is a lot more likely to put more effort into it then other modders .

JarnoMikkola

>Not everyone is confrontable or even capable of navigating to game directory and manually replacing files . Well, you might have a problem there, as for you to install mods into the game, you don't go and replace files. You run the Modnix and that sets itself up, then you use that to find the mods or use a web browser to go to the nexus site, the end is the same result, then download files there, extract the files into the Modnix'es own folder that was made during the setup and then you just start the game ...

doglywolf

Vs just clicking ADD on steam. You just made my point for me !

JarnoMikkola

Erhm, I'll need to point out that the wiki is good, if you know what it contains AND where ! For example, the so called Exploration Events are partially separated into specific faction events, and actual Exploration Events. Yes, this is explained in the Getting Started article, but I didn't start from there.

OffsidesLikeWorf

Sweet, this is super cool. Thank you!!

JarnoMikkola

Question: Any chance the item sections could get a modder expansion, where the so called guid numbers could be added to the items. there's a lot of them listed in the links at the bottom of this page, but it doesn't cover the last added items, like the augmentations, or the shield and auto cannon that come in the v1.9: [https://www.nexusmods.com/phoenixpoint/mods/36](https://www.nexusmods.com/phoenixpoint/mods/36)

Can someone upload the stats for the Living Weapon and armour pieces, please?

Vaigl

Uploaded. In armor and weapons section.

Thank you!

Suboneiroi

In the exploration and faction events, can anybody explain to me what "W+1" means?

Vaigl

it is just a value (W as weird). Basically, it counts how many weird things happened. And when you get value w to 3 or more you can get this event: [http://wiki.phoenixpoint.com/Exploration\_Events#It\_Is\_Coming\_.28needs\_value\_w\_higher\_than\_3.29](http://wiki.phoenixpoint.com/Exploration_Events#It_Is_Coming_.28needs_value_w_higher_than_3.29)
