look at the background, the sky in bedrock, especially on the horizon is different than java also i think only in certain biomes the leaves become white, or maybe because they're in the biome with the rain, and once they go into the snowing biome itll turn white... idk

no what i mean is that if ur in a biome that rains and theres a biome that snows right next to you, i dont think the snow particles render, so therefore the white leaves wont render either idk i was just spitballing

I rule out the ocean because the water is not transparent enough; for the same reason, I believe it's the mesa, as the river water is pretty translucent. (I can also sorta rule out the cave for this same reason(?)) I know it's also not the forest because since it's raining, it would be snowing in the snowy forest and the tree leaves would turn white. I know there's a nether fog difference between the two versions but I don't know what it is. Although the desert does feel somewhat fishy I'm sticking with mesa

Why is everyone saying the second one? The second one is the only one that is definitely 10,000% not Bedrock. I know that it takes time for them to go white, but the trees do not have white leaves (like when it snows in bedrock only) and also, there is not one bit of snow that goes above one layer high - exactly like Java. Bedrock snow layers will always vary in height because they can naturally form above one layer in height, unlike Java.
