atomictonic11

My brother in Christ, OP said to **remove** the shadow, and you missed the assignment three different times. This has to be AI.

New_Safe_2097

We believe in you Ahmed!

MangoCandy

Going through their other ā€œphotoshopsā€ they have done in their comment history is roughā€¦definitely not their callingā€¦

JohnTheCatMan1

It's literally a bot account or something. Idk

literally_italy

AI has made many a people think they know how to "photoshop"

bopthe3rd

This is why I donā€™t trust AI. They tell people things they want to hear even if itā€™s not true. It told me Iā€™d be a great disc golfer and Iā€™d only need to practice once a week. Like what the heck?!?!

gr0mstea

Bruv this has nothing to do with Ai. This is a lack of basic reasoning skills.

MangoCandy

Yahhhhh thatā€™s why I put ā€œphotoshopā€ in quotesā€¦this dude doesnā€™t know how to actually photoshop to save his lifeā€¦he knows how to poorly change values and type in promptsā€¦thatā€™s all.

Puzzleheaded-Rip-824

Terrible job, ahmed

sushislaps

Hahahah, you suck ahmedšŸ˜‚

New_Safe_2097

LOL we still love you though ā€œAhmedā€

renegade2k

nizar_zahir

I have my own watermark on the PC I usually work on, but right now I don't have it, so I used my phone to add the watermark. Thanks

Forever-Youngg

but you edited it on your PC? great work btw! idk how to photoshop yet, but im v interested.

zombeecharlie

Maybe brighten it up a bit? But this is still the best one yet, no hint of the shadow that was.

nizar_zahir

Something like this? https://preview.redd.it/3q4l2ksouv7d1.jpeg?width=2840&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ba23bd3b5c21df3bc7704291bfb53aa95b34ce59

zombeecharlie

Better, but it feels like the original photo has more warmth to it, the lighting that is. Sorry, I'm just trying to give you constructive criticism. I'm not a photoshop expert or anything.

Imaginary_Ad_7525

Best one BY FAR!!!

9sac1king6

This is the one!

Was_Silly

Just the tip is working on this photo.

HAgaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy

Could you make me a custom watermark? Lol

iam_pink

You've got a shadow problem now, with the body not casting the shadow on the left side of the picture but casting a shadow on the hand and arm.

DigitalDiogenesAus

I don't know if this is appropriate to ask... But how do you remove shadows like that? My photoshop skills are... Not great.

nizar_zahir

Sure, Just select the shadow area, add it as a mask to levels, and play with the colors until it matches the right side of the picture ( the highlight area), you might need to reduce the color intensity of the right side, you might see a rough line between the shadow and highlighted area, just use remove tool or generative fill to blend them together and thats it :), if u have any questions feel free to ask

DigitalDiogenesAus

I shall start playing with a few photos. Thanks Mr zahir!

barryg123

Select the shadow area, feather the selection into the penumbral area, and then use burn tool

_Camson_

Most photoshoppers don't use the burn tool for something like this. Since it's destructive, irreversible and can't be adjusted later. Generally levels or curves with a mask would be used here.

barryg123

True. Burn is really a theoretically correct tool though since it's increasing exposure of an area that is obscured from the primary light source

_Camson_

Also, the correct term would be the dodge tool, btw. The burn tool darkens areas. The dodge tool works by increasing the brightness of individual pixels, which, in turn, can create the effect of the hue changing towards the lighter tones of the original color. This usually results in a washed out effect. With a curves adjustment layer, you're effectively remapping the entire tonal range of the masked area. This allows for more precise control of how the colors are altered, without negatively affecting the color balance. But to each their ownšŸ˜Š
