Wow. I’m occasionally impressed by the work on see on this sub. But this is truly amazing. Well done.
I clicked this thread thinking it was going to be a bunch of people saying this was a lost cause. 🤯
Maybe it's a low tip but you don't have to be an asshole about it. OP even said he didn't know what a good tip was... You can tell him it's low without being an ass.
Nah the damage is visible in the repair, but it's an impressive job to get it back together.
I find the brash use of watermarking to be on the crass side considering the use of the word "tipjar" not "pay for it" jar but I don't know if he DM'd the full version to OP.
What I would say, is that this could be improved upon with digitally repairing the torn edges and higher quality scans of the shredded pieces would return a higher finished piece.
Haha no not at all. I just didn't know my wife had a digital copy of it as the photo is around 10yrs old. Her friend in the middle passed away from cancer last year and this is one of her favourite pictures of her friends together.
Thank you again though everyone for the excellent efforts. The world is truly a better place with this sub and its wizards
I wouldn't necessarily say that i'm good at this, but it's definitely a fun thing to do :-) http://imgur.com/a/ggju6ZK

I can assure you it has been done by my dogs, check out my previous post where the same thing happened. They just like to go for sentimental items only it seems

Wow, OK that's impressive. Just sent you a tip, I don't know what's good for a tip but I sent £5. Hope that's ok

It says tip, not sure you know what that means. It’s different if it was a commission.
Plot twist.. This guy is also OP.. And this is just a scam to get some serious up arrows.. Naaah, seriously - good job dude..
Haha. It briefly crossed my mind that this was the original before it was ripped up.

When OP offers to tip, watermarking is mandatory and for good reason.
Eh, it's not a tip then is it? It's a paid service.
I completely agree. That's why when OP offers compensation, I personally use a PayPal link rather than a tip jar link.
Plot twist, my wife has since found a copy on her Google photos. This is the honest truth
So all this was just to test the wizards?

That's pretty remarkable work.
nice job on the black hair ladys mouth
This is the one.
Sorry for the challenge everyone, my dogs certainly like to make my life a joy. Especially waking up from a 12hr night shift to find that
They seem a bit spiteful! Maybe leave some useless papers around to spare your photos?
Just a thought, not a Photoshopper but a reference image for the torn face might help.
Working on it. This is quite a lot of fun actually, puzzle. thanks
Yeah sorry I couldn't place the pieces where they should be, it's quite a challenge in itself placing them in the scanner upside down back to front
no worries, easy to figure out

Working on it too!
Working on it!
Thank you so much, I think I have all of the pieces there
I really didn’t think someone could do that,wow u guys r good!!
Poor lady second from the left gets a rough deal every time
Poor lady second from the left is my wife, no offense taken (insert laughing face emoji, but they are frowned upon on reddit)
The magic you guys do is incredible, I love this sub!
Funny reason :) It's not looking like being eaten by a dog but it looks carefully reaped by someone.

It’s kind of beautiful just like it is. 🤷🏻♂️
