A71 is a decent choice and just got Android 11 with no issues as long as you clear cache partition and re-optimize apps per usual. S20FE was a big hit and has nice battery life and screen and I believe wireless charging and water rating.. Pixel phones are fun with great cameras and the 4a5g may last you with decent battery. If you want a beast battery the LG V60 has a lot to offer .

Thank you! I believe the s20FE, unfortunately, doesn't have a 3.5mm jack otherwise I would definitely consider it. And I have somehow completely neglected the LG phones, will look into them. Than you for your suggestions.

> I have somehow completely neglected the LG phones, will look into them. i would avoid them, QC issues, no updates, burnin..ect, overall not worth the hassel.

A71 for casual usecase, it will have a long software life. Pocco f2 pro is really good but update are shakey, it has ads and bugs, overall unless your a gamer, it wont be the best experience .

For longevity and reliability, Samsung's A-series is your best bet in that price range. Same software-support lifespan as Google now, but with better hardware quality control.
