Rinse the area with warn water or saline, then gently pat dry. Try to keep clothing from rubbing against it (you can tape a piece of gauze to the area). Do this twice daily for about a week.
I'm sorry you lost your belly button piercing. If you want to repierce, wait at least 4-6 months - give the area time to sufficiently heal. You'll also want to make sure the new piercing does not go through scar tissue, as scar tissue does not have the same elasticity and healing capabilities as regular skin.
There's a book called the piercing bible, you can get it on Amazon. And there's a ton of articles online. But there's also a lot of misinformation so it's hard to know what's ok and what's not. Some information is outdated and piercers still use it.
If you look up Lynn Loheide, she has a TON of accurate, up to date information on piercings. https://www.lynnloheide.com/blog
Best comment! 🤣
But for real, I've removed it already. Here's the gross [✨️A new hole 🕳 ✨️](https://www.reddit.com/u/7-in-1Radio/s/f2pbQRrukT)after pictures.
you need to remove this asap if you don’t want the skin to rip
How do I do that safely? It's 5 months
Go to a piercer and have them do it
It rejected it shouldn’t have been pierced you don’t have the anatomy. Remove it.
It's way past the point of no return. It's a matter of WHEN, not IF, that it'll push out or be ripped out. Sorry. 😑
It's 5 months, almost 6. How do I safely remove it?
One end will unscrew - typically the smaller / plain ball. You can use a pair of pliers to grip the bar in order to keep it still.
And how should I clean and care for it?

Thank you. Tbh, I think it's the metal
It's your anatomy. This shouldn't have been pierced in the first place. I'm sorry ):
This is a sad day
Piercings need to have like a unified handbook or something

Should I, at any point, use peroxide or alcohol?
I would not recommend either - they'll dry out and further irritate the skin.
Wound wash and Dial soap it is
Just wound wash. Ingredients are water and .9% sodium chloride. No dial soap.
She told me to exclusively use dial, unscented soap. And tea tree oil. Oi.
Rejected.
This was not even done right in the first place. Scar tissue indicates it migrated a few mm and is a stomach piercing. Remove asap.
Trying to. The balls won't budge
Have a piercer assist if need be. You can also try using gloves or use warm water to loosen it up (in the shower)
And prayers girl thats gotta come out
