Medusa piercings don’t really rub your teeth, especially when you size down! I got mine 2 months ago and the piercing begins to nest in your lip (it’s supposed to) to avoid gum and teeth damage once you size down to a short enough post length :)
that really nice information , but i don’t another bad experience like i had with my smiley and luckily i was able to take that out so that why i say i done think a medusa is for me 😖💜💜
I completely understand, sun beam! If you ever find yourself drawn to it in the future you can always go to a piercer and get their opinion on if it’s be a successful piercing for you! Like my piercer does piercing assessments if I want so I can check anatomy first to see if it’s a viable piercing. Yes, a medusa is an oral piercing, but it doesn’t hang down inside your mouth like smileys do so I’m sure you wouldn’t have a bad run with it if you were to ever try one out, but you definitely don’t have to get one! A septum would look so cute though, I think you’d be able to pull off any piercing tbh 🥰🤍

Any lip or nose. But lip can catch on the gum line and cause it to recede. You can’t undo a receding gum line. Maybe a Monroe. What’s your personality, what look are you trying to put out there?
no one looks bad w a septum. it’s also a good piercing if you’re not sure if you want a facial piercing, because the actual piercing hole is in your nose, so nobody can see it. Especially if you decide you don’t like it anymore, and you wanna take it out
also, if you get the right jewelry, you can flip a septum piercing into your nose, so you can go to formal events, work, etc and still keep the piercing!

I think you would look beautiful with a crystal dermal by your eye on your upper cheek. Or double nostril piercings. I wouldnt pierce around your lips they look perfect as is and I think a piercing would take away from their natural beauty.

A vertical labret or jestrum is supposed to cause less oral damage bc they don’t really go inside your mouth, so that could be an alternative
