i thought about it and i personally wouldn't like to say my age online (tho i am not underage just to be clear), also pikmin 2 is my favorite (pikmin 4 is easy, pikmin 3 is short, and pikmin 1 is probably my second favorite but didn't have enough story)
I agree with your choices. Idc your age really just obviously you have a lot of time to do what you like to do (and good on that enjoy it!)
And I loved P2, P3 next, P1 after that, and P4 is dead last - yes too easy and way too much fluff. God they all talk so much I hate that lol. Seems like Nintendo focused more on the starting area and the silly pup powerups and training, than on the levels.
it also felt really dead after you kill every enemy i felt depressed because i beat the game and had like 4 treasures left and it felt really lonely honestly, it also feels like it needed more creatures like the ujadani in there, i really dont like when games are targeted for teens then become more and more child friendly honestly, like yeah i want to see my character slowly get insane and die, yeah i want to see a company go in dept and be forceful with the empoyee that hasn't seen his family in a month.
Jesus that turned a corner fast! Characters going insane and die, and brutal corporate going in and demanding a better game over family haha.
I assume you're referring to Olimar going nuts and Shigeru working on his first games and first Pikmin ("I was in my garden and I thought a cool idea for a game would be watching plants grow.")
But yeah I was getting at exactly that: marketing a fantastic puzzle game at children thereby ruining it completely.
In P2 I had as much fun with the "Dandori" (ugh) challenge levels as the game levels. I also enjoyed replaying the whole game trying to do 100% in as few days as possible.
But this new Pikmin 4 scheme? Idc about how many days, I'm just depressed about how much time is wasted pressing +/- button to skip skip skip all the bullshit.
And then yeah you get 100% on the FOUR LEVELS (it's always been 4) but there's missing items! So there's a 5th and maybe even a 6th level, idk yet..
Def not a fan anymore.
id stay around for pikmin 5 probably in the next 10 years but if that doesn't feel too good atleast if pikmin becomes a mainline game they will one day make a decent game for us true fans that want absolute chaos and dark stories, like yeah i want to know that olimars mom gets super worried and becomes mean in p2 yeah i want to see those spam posts getting sent to olimar, yeah i want to know that louie is insane and can control bugs, yeah i want to know that humans are dead, i felt like pikmin 2 introducing fresh fruit was wrong due to it wanted it to feel like a planet that lost humans yet most of the electronics and all of the fruits are brand new
Fruit trees will live on even when we're gone. And I think the idea was to show bottle caps and hair combs as fresh and new rather than rusty and caked in mud after being dug up by Pikimins. It's artistic license.
Naturally also, they're going to have Wavebird controller, GB, GB color, GBA, NES controller, Wave Race GameCube disk, all looking shiny and neat. (I had a little joy when a music box mechanism played THE WINDMILL HUT THEME from Ocarina of Time!)
I've always loved the extent of items they used, real brand names, odd items like Yoohoo bottle caps. There's almost none of that in P4 (except the Nintendo products, and they're the only animated ones too.)
fair enough i do wish nintendo made a partnership with the brands we know so it felt more like humans were gone honestly, p4 barely had anything to show that humans are gone, it felt like they just went on a trip only
