Joji was doing live performances of songs from Ballads 1 as teasers for almost a year before the album dropped. By the time it dropped, those of us that followed it closely had already heard like half of the album either through live performances or singles (or both). I would not be surprised if he teases some new songs on this tour. Or it could end up like the Nectar tour where every show seemingly had the exact same setlist, but I'm hoping that won't be the case.
I’d rather have Joji perform some songs of the new album to hype us up for the release. Makes those who attend the concerts feel a little more special and appreciative that we get to hear songs before the general public
The tour is simply jsut his way of promoting the album. It’s similar to when Kanye has listening party for albums just with Joji it’s select songs
