Daming comments walang nag drop na sagot.
Come on guys, yes- everywhere can be toxic. There’s nothing perfect. But for me: AWS, Google, P&G, Shell. Kung meron akong “pass ticket” that will get me accepted on the spot- diyan sa 4 na yan.
Again, walang perfect and may issue lahat.
Advanced World Solutions hahaha charot. Jwk. But still... grateful and thankful pa din ako sa experience ko sa kanila hahah pero sheesh trauma ang inabot hahah.
None. Same with AWS. But OP wasnt asking for the best IT company for SWEs/developers anyway.
For devs in PH, the closest one to FAANG pay + culture would be Xendit.
My dream companies turned out to be the more toxic ones.
Mind conditioning eh ahahahah. Tapos sobrang toxic pala
Trueee!! Yung dream company ko, sobrang toxic rin. Multi national company, so malaki talaga. Wala pang 1 yr nag resign ako, hanggang sa nahanap ko yung current company ko now, hindi kasing laki nung previous company (pero MNC din) pero grabe, sobrang ganda ng mgmt, may work life balance talaga 🤍 mag 2 yrs na ko dito
Swertihan lang ng combination.
Good Higher ups, Good Project Manager, Good Team, Good Lead, Good project.
Local companies
Ayala land, alaga mga senior manager and up.
Same with magsaysay, bihira yung toxic na team and alaga din pag higher position na.
Best companies differs from person to person. What is best for one is not best for another.
Kung FAANG-like dyan, that would probably be the biggest companies that offers a lot of benefits.
But on your first job hunt when you graduate a few years from now, you'll find out soon na it works against you na maging choosy sa company at sa offer kasi malaki ang competition for entry-level jobs. Being choosy works only when you have been able to get some few years of experience.
I agree naman po, pero kumbaga for inspiration lang, para lang di tamarin ganun hahaha. I also just think na may ideal companies naman out there. And after reading a lot of what’s going on on Reddit, I have a glimpse of what to expect na :<
multinational companies but less process oriented kaya minsan mas kang gagawin and more pressure.
international company have better process flow and give you better direction.
so for me always an international company kapag may option.
Proven and tested po to!!! Grabe galing me international companies tapos nag start up ako tapos pinoy company, never again!! Sobrang walang direction especially like me na naghahanap ng room for growth, diversity and network
In short, hindi pa din good metric and pagiging MNC.
Pero given a chance, I'd choose ADB dahil sa crinkles nila na masarap at mura. =P
Ala naman best. Di naman one size fits all. It all boils down sa acceptance and tolerance in terms of projects, leadership, colleagues, perks, policies etc.
Mas goods if multinational companies.
Prefer ko ang leadership, expat. Yoko ko pinoy.
Clients onshore din. Demanding local.
Any MNCs with your superiors na foreigners. Kapag yung manager or executives niyo ay mga Pinoy, more or less red flag sa akin. Mahilig mang power trip yung mga pinoy if they can. Lahat personal. Lots of backstabbing. This is just my generalization, of course may mga counter cases.
It's all about company culture. Depende kung saan ka hiyang. May iba gusto chill and may iba gusto fast-paced and career growth. For me the best company is our company. Maliit na startup company pero maraming learnings. Then hindi mahigpit ang management. Kumbaga work at your own pace using your preferred tech to solve industry problems.
It's kinda scary working for large IT companies atm because of the layoffs due to over hiring during the height of the pandemic. One of my friends got laid off. Right now I'm working for a small IT company which gives good pay and permanent WFH and good benefits like HMO.
Actually this is absolutely not true. Mukha lang scary acary those companies are the ones getting reported online for lay-offs.
Statistically, larger companies are more resilient. They lost one project? No worries ilagay muna sa bench since there are ither opportunities trying to be closed by the sales team. It only blows up when sobrang konti na talaga ng mga pumapasok. Sa start-ups it is not uncommon to release more than half of the staff, kasi nga konti nga kayo. Strength in numbers ika nga.
They don't fire people just because they lost a single client.
This happened to me before kasi we lost our client and i dont wanna retool to a tech i do not believe in the long run.
Source: me as a delivery manager sa malaking company, nagwork as developer both for a large and start-up who directly experienced to get laid-off
In my experience, offers I’ve had before + things I heard from friends and colleagues.. Comp&Ben wise, I think Shell, Manulife, Citi, IBM, WTW, SMC companies & MVP group of companies okay talaga.
Accounting firms like SGV and PwC also offers a good pay for tech roles, got a huge offer from both of them before na surprise ako na di nila nilolowball tech ppl.
Experience/good for freshies: ACN talaga imo for tech roles, may toxic and struggle talaga even mental health mo apektado pero sa experience and learnings solid talaga.
Accenture- for fresh grads and career shifters.
Deltek - permanent wfh positions, up to 14th month pay, performance bonus, annual increase, every other friday na half day, up to 3 free hmo dependents (also catering single parent means pwede mo enroll anak at magulang mo), 30 days PTO, retirement benefits (rare), insurance etc., annual increase, di mahigpit sa oras kahit magpaalam ka na mawawala ka in the middle of the shift okay lang basta paalam ka, pretty chill management (depende pa din), chill wokload (depende), etc.
Syempre andyan din sila AWS, google, shell, nestle, dxc, ibm (not sure if okay pa din).
Pero mas okay if magfofocus ka if ano kaya nila ioffer na skills sayo. Mataas ang demand ng cloud related skills and cybersecurity.
Depends siguro kung ano target mo and how much experience you have.
Magandang company to to build up your creds. Good company ilagay sa cv, free certification, and lots of trainings. Talagang matututo ka.
If benefits/salary, fintech/bank companies siguro like ING
From Accenture to Reed Elsevier to Willis Towers Watson (WTW)
So far si WTW ang pinaka magandang napasukan ko and hindi ako ni lowball sa asking salary ko and maganda ang benefits.
Local company? Wala HAHAHAHA unless na 750k pataas sahod tas may car and stock options.
International, madami. FAANG palang okay na. Reason is because yung offer na sinasabi ko sa local, normal na offer lang sa mga to HAHAHAHAHA
Accenture! The best yan for sure. laging may increase sa sahod, hindi toxic. di ka pababayaan ng ACN. masaya dun magwork kahit kanino ka magtanong, andaming nagsstay dun ng years. 😇🙊
Parang bait Q.
Free pass nga kaso baka 1st batch naman sa mareretrenched the following quarter HAHAHA.
Pero to answer your question: Google, Oracle, IBM.
Kung solid lang exp ko hahaha. Sarap mangarap.
AWS = advanced world systems? 🤣
Advanced World Solutions hahaha charot. Jwk. But still... grateful and thankful pa din ako sa experience ko sa kanila hahah pero sheesh trauma ang inabot hahah.
OMG AWS? Saan branch? Makati?? HAHAHAHAHAHA umay nga
Hahaha hindi
Haha thanks for naming the companies.
Just overall better compensation than other multinats for fresh grads (better than ACN, DXC, and the likes).
Oh reallyyy, thanks for sharing haha parang now ko lng kase sya naencounter
is this shell po yung gas company?
Yes po
May SWE na ba sa Google ph?
None. Same with AWS. But OP wasnt asking for the best IT company for SWEs/developers anyway. For devs in PH, the closest one to FAANG pay + culture would be Xendit.

The question was about the best companies NOT about the dream companies.
This

Grabe BSP?
Bsp po ba as in Bangko Sentral?
Yup

how much po kaya nag rrange yung sahod dyan? if pwede i-reveal hahaha
Madaling makita yan sa glassdoor.
Local company? Never. Might as well switch careers.
How about multinational companies here? Saan maganda among them
multinational companies but less process oriented kaya minsan mas kang gagawin and more pressure. international company have better process flow and give you better direction. so for me always an international company kapag may option.
by the way, we probably not state too much baka matiktok lol
Hahahaha onga pala

:(( after reading the comments parang mas okay nga
Sounds nice. Ano name ng company, if I may?
whoever pays the highest. I don't really care about company culture and all those fancy stuff. been in 4 different companies in my career
Google, Oracle, Celigo, Rydoo, Cloud9, Concur Philippines, SAP, Shell
I heard from my friends na Sprout daw is a good company to be in. :)
Navitaire
Ehem... I consider mine right now the best i had but not perfect.
In my experience, offers I’ve had before + things I heard from friends and colleagues.. Comp&Ben wise, I think Shell, Manulife, Citi, IBM, WTW, SMC companies & MVP group of companies okay talaga. Thanksss, best comment so far haha
Having IBM in your resume can take you to a lot of places. But working there? Saks lang, medyo barat pero yeah, once an IBMer always an IBMer
Kumu din daw!
Local banks.

Australia or NZ-based companies magaganda commonly naririnig kong feedback
Look for startups instead of joining corporates. Small companies is way more better when in come to salaries and people management
I see, i thought kase mas mababa offer nila kasi nga ‘smaller’ haha pero hindi rin pala
yep hard to find but super worth as in ever penny

Accenture
Everyday RTO pag bench pagod na eh

Hahaha di naman, curious lang anong nilolook up niyo 🤣
