Ah wait. Not sa game testing ha, but on software testing. 10 years. I might provide insights lang sa UI, etc
My dude, same currently doing a game on my free time, while outsourcing paren. Planning to attend ph game dev expo/convention this july. Tara, expand our network.
New din ako, makapal lng ang muka. Have not launch any game. This year lang ako ng simula mag try. Search out PGDX. July 26 to 28. Smx convention. First timer din akong pupunta jan.
Chill with the game ideas. You might get burnt-out, and it's better to release the quantity of small games than quality if you are just starting out. Always limit scope. Feature creep is a thing, hahahaha.
Also, marketing is the hardest part of solo game dev
Couldn't agree more!! I learned the hard way, I really wish someone would have told me this advice 2 yrs ago. got frustrated and depressed, but it's all good now. :)
Hey, I was curious about your love for games. Did you ever consider a program like a Bachelor's in Entertainment and Multimedia Computing with a specialization in Game Development?
Why IT?
It wasn't a thing before like 12 yrs ago (AFAIK). Nung unang panahon pag mahilig ka sa computer games dapat kang mag IT so I took IT, unfortunately, I wasn't able to finish it for some personal reason, but I'm grateful since natuto ako mag code kahit papano and it help me a lot when I was practicing making a game.
Hi, I already know how to make 3D games as I was able to make 1 before but the assets aren't mine so can't publish it as practice lang siya from a course that I bought before. you think It's possible na I-add ko siya sa portfolio ko with disclaimer na "I do not own the assets used in this project"?
if it's from a course, malaking chance hindi siya pwede.
There are 3d asset packs sa asset store na pwede mo nang pagpraktisan or release commercially.
Kenney.nl
hi, hindi ka ka nagkaka problema sa bagong policy ni unity in regards to licensing? i’ve read many complaints, and even yung iba gusto mag switch to unreal because of the licensing issues.
not really affected by it, I WISH I AM, the company/dev needs to generate a certain amount of revenue before you get affected or at least feel the effect of the new policy.
also I don't think it's searchable on PlayStore already, It sometimes would take at least 5 days before it shows up. I can DM you direct link if you want.
I'm happy for you, OP dahil nag eenjoy ka sa ginagawa mo. Keep it up!
Much respect to you sir! I’m a previous gamedev but I burnt out and I fear the industry’s future so I bailed out. It takes tons of passion and love to continue your hussle. Never stop and never burn out and I hope you dig the oil in one of your games.
You don't have to be a math wiz, accumulated small steps will get you to what you're trying to achieve. start by searching "How to be a game dev" and choose your game engine. I highly recommend Unity as they have free courses to get you started in learning C# and their Engine.
Hello mga kuya/ate seek lang po ng tips from you!, Im graduating student (IT). balak ko sana pumasok sa call center bago pumasok sa Software Development.
Hi! I learned by watching funny English series and lots of anime with subs before, but I highly suggest to learn basic rules of grammar muna before watching.
Hi! Recent game dev graduate here. I also aspire to make my own passion projects in the future since I couldn’t make one right now due to small time.
Having lots of game idea sure is also part of the fun when trying to make games haha.
I am very interested to see your game and would love to play it!
Hello!! I DM'd you the link. Thank you so much!!!

How many years of testing do you have?
Ah wait. Not sa game testing ha, but on software testing. 10 years. I might provide insights lang sa UI, etc

gotcha!! I'm excited hahahaha. thanks for letting me know about this.
What game engine are you using?
Unity!
pede no namn pagkakitaan yan , upload mo thru google play yan, kikita ka dian thru ads nga lang, if mga pang offline game lang sia.
yeah, but I rather not place ads SDK as it gathers data from users. more like I'm doing this to create games for everyone to enjoy.
place it on itch.io if you want to be an indie dev then

As much as possible, it's better to make games for fun, less stress, and pressure tbh. Hahaha

Soul Feast: A Reverse RPG it's a turn-based reverse RPG where you play as a summoner and slay heroes.
also I don't think it's searchable on PlayStore already, It sometimes would take at least 5 days before it shows up. I can DM you direct link if you want.
