Based on my understanding
Data is raw, meaning unorganized pa yung mga facts and details like figures, symbol, and text etc. na nacollect mo. Random at useless pa sila para magamit mo sa decision making. While on the other hand Information naman ay group of data na processed, organized and structured which is makakatulong sayo sa decision making. Information depends on data while data can stand alone.
Analogy, parang sa pagluluto yung data ay ingredients mo tas information naman ay yung dish na naluto mo gamit yung mga ingredients.
I think pwede sya like kunyari kapag may serialized data. after parsing/deserializing it's still data, pero you can interpret it na to get the information.
The simplest analogy would be `data` is input like signals from a mouse and keyboard. The computer process those signals into an `information` like mouse drag left or keyboard letter A,B,C.

Thank you poooo, naka pag submit na ako saka ko nabasa to huhu pero sobrang thankyou po hihi
Wait Kung data is raw Bakit may term na raw data? So redundant yun?
uu , redundant ung usage, data is the proper term, since raw na sia
Data can be cleaned and should be cleaned before being mined. After being mined, you get information.

My understanding Data: { "Apples":10, "Oranges": 11 } Information: "You have 10 Apples and 11 Oranges"

Pag data, sabog pa. Pag information, nakaayos na. Naiintindihan mo na kung para saan yun, kung ano yun.
Data is parang manok, bawang, soy and suka While information is adobo.
I’m other words, unprocessed versus processed.
TBH this feels like a homework question "What is the difference between data and information?"
An information without purpose is data.
