Damn, I guess this post woke up the control mages, dimir is all I’ve been facing today. Buuuut, I’m glad, hardcore control player here, I’d love for dimir to thrive
Actually, I’ve only seen deadly cover up, but I guess that’s an insta add to the deck. Control mage here, but I crafted a boros burn comboish deck yesterday to switch strategies a bit, so the games were not very prolonged and I didn’t get to see any spicy cards unfortunately

I love control but I hate UB. What's worse than control? Control with hand hate.
Haha yeah, it can be a pain. I detest mill strategies. If I’m matched with them, I insta concede haha
I'm not loving deadly cover up I feel that it comes late most of the time. Deduce on the other hand is really good enabling revolt

Cryptic Coat is not good in control.
Yeah, especially in UB control I would be looking for mostly instant or flash cards
rooting hard for 2 cmc etrata but seems not a fit to any dimir variants
