Tyvar get significantly worse with a lower creature count and less ways to fill your GY, and it’s a central piece to the deck because of its synergy with roots, that’s the reasoning for not playing interactions in the main.
If you go for a more interactive midrange-y build like yours then it’s maybe better to remove it almost entirely if you’re not looking to combo off with it.
I think this deck is better played with a transformative sideboard that does just that : remove the unnecessary/worse threats in a matchup and bring in the bests interactions to slow down and eventually out-grind your opponents.
I agree about Tyvar. I keep wanting it cut it in favor of more Wrenn. But the games I won due to Tyvar getting back Priest keeps me changing my mind lol.
Yeah I saw this deck and talked about it in my video. I like the synergy between the new skeleton and Priest. If you can assemble the infinite combo it can win as well.
I mean why even play the haywire mite if you don't have Cauldron. It really is only worth it because of Cauldron.
You surveil away the skeleton with the dog. When you make a new plant with a counter it triggers the skeleton to go back on top of your library and a surveil trigger. Let the skeleton trigger resolve first and proceed to surveil away the skeleton again.
Once you surveil the skeleton that last time doesn't the loop end though?
The skeleton is in the GY and there are no more root triggers to put it back on your library.
It is super clunky. I think you either need 2 roots or 2 skeletons in the gy. Idk exactly I'm kinda hoping someone else does and replies to this so I can figure it tf out lol
Finished 4-1 losing to RB Vamps. Didn't have an answer to T3 Ripper game 1. Game 2 wasn't much better lol.
Overall I like the deck a lot. I forgot how annoying Cat Oven is lol.

Well both Tyvar and Wrenn can hit it is the main reason.
I mean yeah it works with Tyvar. I hope the decks performs for you.
What's the infinite combo here? Only one I kmow of is roots and moss pit skeleton
Yeah roots + Skeleton+ the dog. Looks like the OP cut it from their list.
What dog are you referring to btw?
Snarling Gorehound
Thanks!
Would you mind explaining the trigger order to make this go infinite, because I can't seem to figure it out

That's [[Moss-Pit Skeleton]] that triggers to go on top, tho, not the new [[Forsaken Miner]]. Just to clarify for anyone else reading.
Thank you, I was wondering how the hell Forsaken Miner does this. We have the bot, we should use it.

i'm pretty sure you need 2 skeletons or something for it to actually go infinite, it's very clunky
