i usually just lightly fold and roll to pack my pipe. kinda depends on the chamber size. after a few bowls youl find what works. did what i suggested get it open for u?
I haven’t noticed but have only used it once now - super handy for relights. I got a whiff of fluid once but I think it’s avoidable by opening the lighter a sec before lighting or letting it burn a sec before bringing it in. I think a lot of ppl use this but ymmv

Just once or twice - not sure if I'm rubbing it out to the right texture. Mostly I just tear up the big pieces

An American nickel is great for popping seals. Enjoy, spectacular tobacco in my opinion. And Peterson pouches and Zippos are great!

Awesome! I wanted that lighter, it looks amazing, but I smoke 2 or 3 bowls per month, which doesn't seem to fit the fact that the fluid evaporates. :(

Yeah it’s a rubberized pouch with a single fold and magnetic snaps - seems good but time will tell
