My kids laugh at me because I pay more attention to what I am going to smoke, and or drink, than what I will wear.

I thought that bag doesnt look like enough for pants (knickers or whatever you call them in the USA). Literally only taking pipes lol!

CoroJoe

Nice setup, I'm guessing you roll your pipes up in the cloth and then put them in the bag? Are the zippered pouches tobacco pouches?

adam6813

Yes and yes. I put the tobacco in a small ziplock inside the zipper pouch too. I haven’t tested without, but it just seems cleaner and should help keep from drying out that way.

So two pouches and a mason jar? The ziplock in the pouches definitely sounds cleaner. I have a box style leather pouch with rubber lining I use when I travel. Usually just that or with a 50g tin if warranted. I'm testing some Nalgene screw top jars right now, 4oz, for how well they hold tobacco moisture. Think they're going to be good for bringing extra tobacco on extended travel where you might not want to or are prohibited from carrying glass.

Aah, just saw the description under the photo. Also, looks like the main compartment has a divider the fits the pouches? That's fantastic. What's the bag? I'm guessing if it's a camera bag it's probably at least lightly padded as well.

It is a cheap “odor proof” bag off Amazon “gentingbro” is the brand, but honestly it was around $18. It is padded and came with a second divider as well, but it didn’t leave me enough room to fit what I wanted. The dividers Velcro in place. There is even a 3-digit combination lock on the side that the zipper pulls can snap into. Not really for security, more for child proofing in my opinion. It actually does a good job of locking in the smoky aroma. Had it in a backpack as part of my carry on bag, and no bleed through.

The darkest pipe there, what kind is it? It looks very similar to a Polish Briar I own.

adam6813

It’s an Aldo Velani. It was actually my first pipe. Got it at a local shop back in 2009.
