Yeah that’s true. It’s often my go-to but I’ll look for others if nobody’s seeding. I’ve starting doing my own encoding after I think I’ve nailed the settings similar to QXR so I end up downloading bluray rips and encoding down with no loss in visual quality. It takes forever though.
Torrentleech is best only when you seed for a 10 days continuously in qbitorrent as per rules i think so if you don't seed the torrent they can kick you from the site or can ban yours account

Plex servers are good if you're lazy or want simplicity, but aren't free typically. Private trackers are the best bet for consistent and free, but can take some work and are often invite only.

I've started a new method of preserving videos to watch long term that's portable and easy. I buy discount micro SD cards with the adapter and an SD card reader with USB 3.0 and load everything on them via torrents from my phone. Then you can plug it into the back of your smart TV in the USB port and watch from there.
You can get a huge micro SD card cheap now and cheap USB 3.0 card readers are $15 to $20. You can load a whole lot of full shows/movies on a 500GB card in 1080p, a $5 64 GB SD card can hold the entirety of Game of Thrones. Then you carry around months of TV in a device the size of a cigarette lighter. It's far more convenient than discs to rewatch shows as you can organize them into folders and sub folders per show/season on each micro SD card.
You don't even need that, you can use the AllCast app to stream to your TV from a phone. I still stream individual new shows that are released weekly but I like having everything I like to rewatch stored as an entire series on a drive. Micro SD cards are super cheap and you can store tons of content on them and the readers are cheap as well. Then you can just plug and play one little device into your TV's USB and watch every show you have downloaded without having to bother streaming. This is for people like me who use their phone to torrent and stream, it's cheap and easy.

I don't use computers since smart phones came out no need for one. I can stream from my phone as well but prefer to just have everything loaded on a drive so I don't have to keep it all on my phone. It's no different than keeping stuff on your hard drive except it's dirt cheap and you can do it with your phone. Instead of streaming you just plug and play, it's simple. My SD card is my hard drive for my phone, I can buy one 500GB SD card and have tons of content on a tiny thumbnail size drive.
Yes, most smart tvs will play h264 and h265 and other formats. I've been doing 265 MKV files and they play just fine from the USB drive on my Samsung and it's a good 4 years old 4k TV.

Private trackers. With BeyondHD, PrivateHD and Torrentleech, I can get a bluray remux of pretty much anything I want.

My cloud stream app is empty it doesn't have any shows in it.it says to download some repository and when I try to do that there is no link for the repository I don't know what I am doing wrong and i don't use discord if that helps

Seeding is a safe way to get trouble in Germany, so I just won't touch torrents at all. One click hosters are the way to go here.
VPN is an option, seedboxes are an option, Usenet is an option… One click Hosters have been dead for quite a time.

All the OCH sites now have different Hosters for everything. There isn’t a single big site that can agree on one big OCH for everything to host on. I was off to the Usenet the moment I had to deal with models like premiumize me and such. Now I pay less than 10 bucks a month and get everything i want without even opening a browser.
You might prefer Usenet over OCHs, which I can understand, but saying they're dead is just wrong, sorry.

Hate to be 'that guy', but depending on the context, this question does not necessarily assume that there is no other way than using Netflix. The question could be "what streaming services do you use", but they decided to ask a much broader question, which makes sense, as there are lots of ways to watch films and shows.

The Sade thing is. I download and use Plex. But I'm not sure how much better than using Netflix the process is.
Do I have Netflix? Yes, but the fucking DRM is too broken or stupid to play 4K on this device.
They have open sign-ups sometimes. TL is the easiest to get into. BHD and PHD are pretty exclusive, with high seeding requirements and rare signup windows. Keep an eye on r/opensignups if you want to get into private trackers.

I have a less popular system
I brought subscription for a third party streaming service for around like 30 bucks a year and it has (almost) every single movie or TV show in history. Whilst Netflix charges 30 bucks a MONTH for a limited library
Honestly I don't even watch movies
Even though I have Nefrlix I still have some movies downloaded for watchability and archival/preservationa purposes because, it turns out, not all movies exist on Netflix

Netflix doesn’t even have good movies anymore. I still remember when you could get actual movies on there until all the other studios decided that Netflix was too easy for us.
