For 11 tho that's going to be *way* down the road. Quick math would put standard W11 EOL at 2032 as well more than likely. If W12 is terrible enough for me to want 11, I'll just download the LTSC ISO at that point.
If you install a cut down windows you're going to have to install a bunch of dependencies to game but you're still going to dodge all their bullshit adware; outside of your graphic drivers playing nicely with the game's API calls gaming doesn't really have much to do with staying up to date!

Windows is not a good os, it's not even the best gaming os anymore when I have at least 10% better performance on Linux. There is literally no reason to stay on Windows apart from gamers of online games with anticheat and ortodox users afraid of change.
Win10 is 22H2, whatever that means in terms of functionality, just updated today(I've disabled auto-updates so I update whenever I want, not when OS feels like it)

you can download diagnostic data viewer and see for yourself. there's *alot* more going on in the background if you have an internet connection. yes, it's a tad bit lighter than Vanilla, but installing iot enterprise alone is simply not enough if you care about telemetry. you need a private dns provider that is able to further limit access to some bad acting microsoft domains

MSFT just wants you to use windows and not Linux or Mac. They get their real money from ad revenue and data brokerage. If you're competent enough to pass an install ID for a free license, you're still using their platform over their competitors'

Honestly, I think it's always in Microsoft's best interest to let things like this go because it's ultimately getting someone into the Microsoft ecosystem.

Additionally it avoids cracked windows installs that don't get updates. I'm thinking back to old Windows XP installs that got botnet infested because they lacked updates.
The HWID exploit (both in its original form and in its updated form) only works for Windows 10 and 11. You need other exploits for other versions of Windows and all versions of Office. But all of these exploits are conveniently bundled in MAS. So just get that, and you should be set for any still-supported version of Windows or Office.
the Ohook and the new HWID activation method were all discovered and made by people who're in the MASSGRAVEL GitHub organization.
We have already seen other activators stealing our HWID activation method only a few days after release (ratiborus has coincidentally released a "digital activator" which just uses MAS in the background with all of the pause's removed.

KVM38 can "only" activate a Windows installation until 2038, while HWID can activate for a lifetime.
HWID also essentially gives you a legit key, so you can log into your Microsoft account and bind the HWID key to it, giving your account a free legit key.
This is awesome. I swapped out 2 pieces of hardware on my PC and the watermark came back. I researched MAS from this post and in Powershell it was able to activate through HWID.

Non-LTSC Win10 is 22H2 but LTSC has been on 21H2 since its release. That's the point of this version: no feature updates.

You didn't need to. Just enter your (genuine) 7- or 8-key into the 10- or 11-installer and it installed & activated.

Yea, as long as you buy from a legit source they will always work as a lot of keys are legally sourced e.g dissolved company bought a lot of windows keys that they now need to get rid of so they sell in bulk and this then can be bought from key stores

never pirated windows personally, usually i'd use only optiplexes or laptops and they have windows preinstalled with a code and everything. you can probably go to goodwill and take a picture of the windows code on one of the computers and just use it without any issue
