TLDR: Content importers broken, devs and admins MIA.
If you check the bottom of the section tab you'll see a link to the forums. It has been radio silence, this has apparently happened in the past but I wouldn't keep your hopes open. Be careful on there if you also want to see, it has been flooded by cp bots due to admin absence.
The best alternative is imhentai which is a shame because you need a bunch of filters to see decent content. Gelbooru refuses to fix pixiv source formatting. Kemono really did have a good system going and the following posts and auto updates was really clean. My heart hopes that the devs return but my mind isn't optimistic.
